while Jeisuke and Momoshimo activated their powered eyes, their auras flaring in the darkness.
The camp came into view.
Monsters everywhere.
Shino raised his hand.
Shino:
"Everyone—sit tight. We plan our attack first."
Jeisuke turned his head, annoyed.
Jeisuke:
"Plan?
You serious, Shino?"
Shino:
"Don't—!"
Too late.
Jeisuke stepped forward and swung his arm.
Jeisuke:
"Greenish Slash!!!!!!"
A sharp, glowing green energy wave tore through the air and slammed straight into the camp.
In a blink—
Half the monsters were sliced apart, their bodies falling before they even realized they were dead.
Shino's eyes widened.
Shino (thinking):
(Another self-created move…? At his age…?)
A roar echoed from deep within the camp.
Reberu 7 Merus Monster:
"Bring me that boy's head—
and cut off his hands!
Kill his friends too!!!"
Dozens of Merus monsters charged at once.
The battlefield exploded into chaos.
Momoshimo:
"Rockic Punch!"
His fist slammed into the ground, shattering monsters on impact.
Jeisuke:
"Ground-Breaking Bamboo!!!"
The earth ruptured as massive bamboo spikes burst upward, impaling enemies mid-charge.
Shino and Akaimo fought back-to-back, using their sharpened bamboo to fend off weaker Merus monsters, striking with everything they had.
Minutes passed.
Bodies littered the ground.
More than half of the monsters were dead.
Some continued fighting desperately.
Others—terrified—turned and fled into the darkness.
