The next day, Albur woke up very early, strangely, he thought he will sleep until 10 a.m. or something, but he woke up at 7 a.m. He also felt strange but he wasn't tired, so he get off bed and walked outside. To his surprise, Johnson was already up, and is polishing his laser minigun. Albur tried to walk quietly to not get his attention.
"Stop walking sneakily, I know you're there." said Johnson.
"Woah, you noticed me just now?" asked Albur awkwardly.
"We cyborgs have enhanced hearing and sights, why do you walk so sneakily, it's like we're not familiar with each other." asked Johnson.
"I, uh..... just don't wanna bother you, why are you up so early?" asked Albur.
"Shouldn't I be the one asking this?" asked Johnson.
"Uh.....I.... am not tired?" said Albur.
"Same." said Johnson, then continued polishing his minigun.
"Why do you only polish your minigun and not your other weapon? I remember you took more weapons than this." asked Albur. Sitting down next to Johnson.
"Miniguns are always my signature and my favourite, although they have long cooldown time but it repays in fast reload, high damage and rapid fire trait." Johnson wiped the handle of the minigun and kept it.
"It seems like you really have high mastery on it huh, you even know what is its trait and feature." said Albur.
"Speaking of favourite things, do you worry about your parents?" asked Johnson.
"Of course I do, they must be very scared and confused right now, I must save them as quick as possible. " said Albur.
"I guess this is your energy to continue this journey right?" asked Johnson.
"Yeah, kinda." said Albur.
"Oh, looks like the gals are awake, let's get going." Johnson stood up.
Albur looked at that direction. Mysty and Covie is awake, standing there peeking at them.
"What, he saw us?" whispered Mysty.
"Told you master is good at hearing and looking!" whispered Covie.
Johnson shook his head, and threw a battery to Covie, which was her favourite triple z battery.
"Alright, so now we'll be heading to the Information Centre, to get that 3 keys." said Johnson.
"But I think the Information Centre is quite big, plus its far away from our location right?" asked Mysty.
"We have no choice, let's see if we're lucky enough to find a transportation on the way." said Johnson.
"Ok then, armed and ready !" Albur put on his equipments.
"You're only paired with a laser rifle and a semi-destroyed metal pipe." said Johnson.
"Um, uh, that's enough, I guess....." said Albur.
"Ok, I'm ready!" Mysty took out her taser, her twin pistols and her metal pipe.
"By the way, Albur do you wanna use my pipe? Since, I don't use it very often, and I don't have the strength to use its full potential." said Mysty.
"Really? Thanks Mysty!" exclaimed Albur.
"Alright, then, head sail! To the Information Centre!" said Johnson.
Before they set off, Mysty and Albur grabbed a telescopic backpack to put things inside and also the food box. Albur clicked on his watch and looked for the location of the information Centre.
"In 135 meters, turn right and you will arrive at your destination." said Albur's watch.
The gang looked at the watch, then looked at the north-east, the centre is just sitting there.
"Well at least we don't have to worry for the prolonged walking. Hehe." giggled Covie.
"Make sense, we were in the center of the city after all." said Mysty.
Johnson and Albur slapped their forehead. The gang walked sneakily to avoid any patrol teams, but they found none on the way to the centre. When they reached the entrance, they found the building is extremely large, and the door was sealed shut. Albur tried to blast it using his laser rifle, but the door reflected the bullet.
"What ? It reflected? " asked Albur.
"Oh, that's one of my products of my company, the reflection wall. " said Johnson.
"Then how should we go in ? " asked Mysty.
"Let's split into pairs, we each go look for an entrance, though not safer, but less time consuming." suggested Covie.
"Great idea, hey when did you became so smart? " asked Johnsson.
Covie stuck out her tongue, Johnson sighed and shook his head. The gang split up, with Albur and Mysty as a pair and Johnson and Covie as another. Albur and Mysty looked around the left side of the building.
"Say why would the Information Centre be so big and only have one entrance, couldn't they make multiple entrances ? That would be lot easier for visitors and tourists to enter." asked Albur.
"Well the centre is one of the most important places on earth, if there is a thief inside there, he can only flee from the main entrance, so the security guards will catch him more easily. " said Mysty.
"I don't think thats the main purpose of it. " said Albur.
"Just guessing. " said Mysty.
Albur looked around, and he found a vent on the wall of the building. Its very high up.
"Hey, Mysty? " asked Albur.
"What ?" asked Mysty.
"Do you think we can get in through that entrance ? " asked Albur. Pointing at the vent.
"Hey, that should be able to get us into the building. " said Mysty.
"Any idea of how can we get to that vent ? " asked Albur.
"I think I have something." Mysty searched in her old adventure vest, and she took out a stick.
"A stick ? What can that do ? " asked Albur.
Mysty pressed a button on that stick, it shot a chained grapple hook that hooked the vent hatch. Mysty then anchored that stick on the ground.
"Damn, this is a climbing tool ? " asked Albur.
"Yeah, I used it during hiking. " said Mysty.
The both of them climbed up holding the chains. And when they reached the vent hatch, Albur smacked it open using his pipe. They both crawled in the vents, making minimum noise as possible.
"Should we contact Johnson and Covie? We're just gonna look in there alone? " asked Mysty.
"Nah, I think they're already in. Like the two of them have so many experience, so maybe they have experience how to get into somewhere, c'mon let's go." said Albur. Crawling in front.
"Huh." Mysty followed Albur.
Albur found a vent hatch below them that connects to the lobby of the Information Centre. He kicked and punched it until it broke. He aimed for a sofa below them and jumped to that direction, Mysty did the same.
"Alright, we're in." Mysty cleaned her clothes.
"This is Albur speaking, John, where are you? Over." Albur took out his walkie talkie and spoke.
"It's Johnson! We're still looking for the entrance, any luck there? Over." replied Johnson.
"What? You guys aren't in yet? Over. " asked Albur.
"Told you so!" said Mysty.
"You two are in already? Over." asked Johnson.
"We were in the lobby of the centre. Over." said Mysty. Taking out her walkire talkie.
"Where did you guys go in? We don't see an entrance!" asked Covie.
"There is a vent at the left side of the building, I anchored a chain there, use that to climb into the vents. Over." said Mysty.
"Copy that, over." said Johnson.
"Um, ok, I guess we will look for the keys first....." said Albur awkwardly.
"Never mind that, let's look for that 3 keys." said Mysty.
Albur and Mysty looked around in the centre, but the only thing there is the reception table with computers. They later entered the main hub of the building, Albur searched downstairs and Mysty searched upstairs. They opened drawers, and looked in boxes, but still, no keys can be seen.
"Where do you think a place with keys that are quite important will be?" asked Mysty.
"I guess it might be rooms that are restricted. Like, you know, important things are usually placed in places that prevent normal people from entering. I guess....." said Albur.
"Make sense, let's look for them then." Mysty jumped down from upstairs.
Albur and Mysty looked into rooms, trying to find restricted areas or staff only rooms.
"By the way, don't you feel weird about by now we haven't saw one single glitch yet?" asked Mysty. while opening room doors.
"That's better isn't it? I am still afraid being parasitize by them..." said Albur. While searching drawers.
"I don't think they will, since parasitizing a human will slowly kill him, if Commander Glitch is planning to become stronger by feasting on humans, one less human equals one less power, he won't let his glitches do that." said Mysty.
"Speaking of him, we still don't know what are his capabilities right, that will be tough to fight him." murmured Albur.
"Well, Johnson reads tons of glitch histories, maybe he know what are his capabilities." said Mysty.
"Let's just get the keys and get out of here." said Albur.
As they walked, they unknowingly stepped in front of a place locked by a huge metal door, on the metal door, writings can be seen, written 'restricted area, no unauthorized personnel allowed' .
"Huh, I guess this is the place." said Mysty.
"Well then, time to blast some doors." Albur took out his rifle. Mysty stepped back and Albur fired his rifle at the door. The door shattered, and turned into ashes. The two of them stepped inside, the room is filled with data about important locations, the location of the 7 access colors and as well as the three keys, which is inside a safe, labeled 'Backup Password Keys'.
"Huh, for a place so important the door isn't paired with RNP's technology." said Mysty.
"I don't care, let's take this safe with us, I don't wanna waste time opening it." said Albur.
"Wait, how are you sure the keys are inside?" asked Mysty.
Albur shook the safe, they heard metallic clink sounds inside.
"Well keys usually make these sounds." said Albur.
"Oh, ok then, let's go." said Mysty.
Suddenly, a glitch bullet exploded in front of them. They both looked up, another captain glitch alongside glitches and corrupted CIs are floating above them.
"Looks like we ambushed them at the right time." said the captain glitch.
"What? You're always sneaking behind us?" asked Albur.
"Specifically we hid here just to wait for y'all arrival.... to kill you!" laughed the captain glitch.
"No wonder we saw no glitches outside...." murmured Mysty.
Suddenly, the safe floated towards the glitches, Mysty tried to catch it, but it was too quick. The captain glitch took the safe, and a glitch emerged within the safe.
"You two need this, don't you?" the captain glitch blasted the safe into pieces by firing glitch bullets at it.
"Well... not anymore..."
