Raha's mother returned home after finishing work.
She saw Raha in the kitchen, trying to cook something.
"What are you doing there?" her mother asked sternly.
Raha knew her mother was angry, so she tried to cheer her up. She walked toward her with a small smile, holding a plate in her hands.
"Put the plate down," her mother said coldly.
Raha silently placed the plate back on the table.
Her mother then took out her phone and handed it to her.
"Hmmm… Subin sent a message."
Hearing that, Raha's face lit up with happiness. She quickly grabbed the phone and started walking toward her room.
But her mother stopped her.
"What did Rohan say to you when he took you into his room?"
Raha froze.
Her mother held her arm and asked again,
"You slapped Rohan, didn't you?"
Raha lowered her head.
"Raha! I'm asking you something!" her mother said angrily.
Raha shook her head slowly.
"Look at me."
Raha raised her eyes. Tears were already forming again.
"Now tell me the truth. What happened at school?"
Raha opened her diary and wrote:
"Yes. I slapped Rohan."
Her mother stared at the words in shock.
"What did you do?!"
Raha wrote again.
"What else could I do? He was torturing me."
"Torturing?" her mother repeated in disbelief.
Raha nodded.
"But why?"
Raha suddenly started crying.
"Why are you crying? Tell me what happened!" her mother asked anxiously.
Through tears, Raha began writing everything.
"The girl everyone says committed suicide… she didn't. She was murdered. I know who killed her. Because of that, Rohan was threatening me.
He took me to his room and offered me money."
Raha's hands trembled as she continued writing.
"He threw a lot of money at me and told me to keep quiet about it."
Her mother stood there, stunned.
"What…?" she whispered with a shaking voice.
Raha nodded while crying.
Her mother grabbed her shoulders.
"Why didn't you tell me earlier?!"
Raha didn't answer.
After a long silence, her mother asked quietly,
"Is Rohan guilty?"
Raha shook her head.
Then she wrote,
"I can't say who is guilty."
Her mother stopped asking questions.
"I won't work in that house anymore," she said firmly.
"But where will I work? There are no other jobs."
Raha quickly wrote:
"Don't tell anyone anything. Even if you keep working there… don't tell them."
Her mother shook her head silently.
At that moment, Subin called Raha on a video call.
Raha quickly cut the call and wrote to her mother:
"Can I keep the phone with me tonight?"
Her mother agreed.
Raha went to her room and closed the door.
Her mother sat in deep worry for a while before going to her own room.
Raha called Subin back.
He picked up immediately.
"I've been trying to contact you for so long!" he complained.
Raha wrote and showed him:
"The phone was with Mom. She just came back from work."
Subin smiled.
"You don't have to struggle writing anymore. I've been practicing sign language properly!"
Raha smiled faintly.
But it was obvious she had been crying.
"What happened?" Subin asked worriedly.
Raha shook her head.
"Tell me the truth."
Raha gestured slowly.
"I miss Meena a lot."
Subin fell silent.
"Okay… when will school reopen?"
Raha gestured, "After one week."
Subin's expression turned serious.
"Listen carefully. Be careful. If Rohan or Rabina tries to harm you, tell me immediately."
Raha became uneasy remembering everything that happened that day.
She wanted to tell him everything.
But she stopped herself.
He would only worry unnecessarily…
"Raha… what happened? Something is wrong, isn't it?" Subin asked again.
Raha shook her head quickly.
"No."
"Study properly," Subin said softly.
Raha nodded.
"I miss you a lot, Raha."
Raha lay down on her pillow, staring at the screen.
Subin also rested his head on his pillow, watching her quietly.
Time passed.
Eventually, Raha fell asleep.
But Subin stayed awake the entire night, watching her peacefully sleeping face.
Morning arrived.
Raha woke up and saw Subin sleeping.
Without waking him, she quietly ended the call.
When she came out of her room, she saw her mother preparing to leave for work.
"From now on you'll stay home alone," her mother said.
"Keep the doors and windows locked until I return."
Raha nodded.
"Give me the phone."
Raha ran and brought the phone back to her.
Her mother sighed.
"I can't even afford to give you your own phone…"
Raha remained silent.
Her mother left for work.
Raha locked the doors and windows and stayed inside the house.
At the Watson mansion, Raha's mother arrived and began her work.
The other maids asked,
"Your daughter didn't come today?"
She didn't react and kept working.
After a while, Rohan came downstairs.
Seeing her, he asked,
"Raha didn't come?"
His voice made her remember everything Raha had written.
Even though she didn't want to answer, she said,
"No."
Rohan frowned.
She must have told her mother everything…
"Is Raha at home?" he asked carefully.
Her heart raced.
What if he goes there and hurts her?
So she lied.
"No. She went to a friend's house."
Rohan was about to say something when Mrs. Watson came downstairs.
He immediately fell silent.
"Rohan," she said, "I have to go to another city urgently for a case. Your father is coming with me. We will also arrange a good lawyer for the school case."
Rohan nodded quietly.
"We may be gone for a few days. I hope you won't do anything foolish."
She walked out.
Rohan stayed there silently.
Mr. and Mrs. Watson left the house.
Raha's mother looked at Rohan thoughtfully.
She wanted to ask him many questions… but she couldn't.
Suddenly Rohan spoke.
"I want to talk to you. Can we speak privately?"
The maids looked shocked.
They whispered among themselves.
"First he had a private conversation with the daughter… now with the mother?"
"What is going on?"
Rohan stepped aside with her.
His voice sounded heavy.
"What happened that day… it wasn't Raha's fault."
He paused.
"I just wanted to talk to her, so I pulled her into the room."
Raha's mother remained silent.
"I said many things to her that I shouldn't have," Rohan admitted with his head lowered.
She still said nothing.
"Was she crying when she came home?" he asked worriedly.
Finally she replied quietly,
"No."
Then she added,
"I have a lot of work to do."
And walked away.
Rohan wanted to know more.
But he couldn't.
Meanwhile, Mrs. Watson went to Bella's house.
Bella ran forward happily when she saw her.
"Aunty! How are you?" she said, hugging her.
"I'm fine. How are you?"
"I'm good," Bella replied with a smile.
"I came to ask something important," Mrs. Watson said seriously.
Bella made her sit.
"Tell me."
"Who is responsible for Meena's death?"
Bella froze.
She lowered her head.
"You?" Mrs. Watson asked coldly.
"No! No! I didn't do anything!" Bella panicked.
"It all happened because of Rabina!"
"What happened? Tell me everything."
Bella revealed everything.
Mrs. Watson listened in shock.
"And the previous incident… was Rabina responsible for that too?"
"Yes! Everything is Rabina's fault!" Bella shouted.
"Our names won't get involved… right?"
Mrs. Watson fell into deep thought.
"We'll see what can be done."
Bella held her head in fear.
Mrs. Watson placed a hand on her shoulder.
"No one else knows about this, right?"
Bella hesitated.
"One girl knows… she's a new student. She saw us torturing Meena."
Mrs. Watson's eyes widened.
"What if she tells everyone?"
Bella replied,
"She's mute. Rohan already warned her."
"Rohan warned her?" Mrs. Watson repeated.
"What is her name?"
Bella frowned.
"I don't want to talk about her! Because of that girl, Rohan slapped me!"
"What? Rohan slapped you?" Mrs. Watson asked in shock.
"Yes! Her name is Raha."
Bella continued angrily,
"When Rohan found out that Raha saw us, he tried to warn her. But that girl slapped him in front of the whole school! She threw a page at him and walked away."
Bella's eyes filled with tears.
"He slapped me later because I said bad things about her! Imagine… he hit me because of a mute girl!"
Mrs. Watson's face darkened.
"Raha slapped Rohan? How dare she?"
Then she added angrily,
"And she was holding Rohan's hand in his room yesterday!"
Bella looked stunned.
"What? Raha was holding his hand?"
"Yes! When I came home yesterday, I saw them holding hands. Rohan let go when he saw me."
Bella's anger exploded.
Mrs. Watson murmured worriedly,
"Is there something going on between them…?"
Bella clenched her fists.
"I'll deal with that girl myself."
Mrs. Watson left the house.
Bella immediately called Rabina and Grace and told them everything.
How Rohan was holding Raha's hand.
They were furious.
Rabina said coldly,
"Let school reopen… then we'll show her what happens when someone dares to touch Rohan."
