The Five Great Gods were perfect examples.
Every action they took could affect the entire Multiverse.
Galactus possessed countless avatars. In a single day, he could devour billions of planets, bringing death to an unimaginable number of intelligent life-forms.
And yet, even that was merely part of the balance of the world.
From this alone, one could understand just how tremendous the power of the Five Great Gods truly was.
Once someone reached this level...
They had genuinely entered the highest echelon of the Marvel Universe!
They were true cosmic powers in every sense of the word!
Karl's breakthrough might have appeared to be a purely personal matter.
But in reality...
It was already a major event capable of affecting the entire Multiverse!
Even the fundamental rules of existence began to change.
The laws of the world themselves seemed to celebrate his breakthrough.
Rainbow-colored radiance filled existence as seemingly endless Cosmic Energy poured directly into Karl's body.
Karl could sense it.
A warm consciousness enveloped him, so immense that its scale seemed comparable to the stars themselves.
Karl understood immediately.
This was the Pan-Consciousness of the Multiverse!
It was the instinctive consciousness born from the Multiverse itself.
It was, in a sense, the mother of all things within this world.
Karl felt an indescribable warmth, as though he had been embraced by the world itself.
And that was not all.
After the Pan-Consciousness of the Multiverse descended upon him, it was as though the will of the entire world had opened itself completely before Karl.
The most fundamental rules of existence manifested before his eyes.
Every principle and every law underlying reality became perfectly clear.
Karl had never experienced anything like this before.
The laws of the world had never appeared so clearly before him.
Had his will not been so firm, he might even have lost himself in that overwhelming sensation and allowed his consciousness to merge directly with the will of the world.
But...
Karl's will was exceptionally powerful.
With a will already comparable to beings at the level of the Five Great Gods, he quickly stabilized his mind and began observing the fundamental rules of the world.
The reason intelligent life could become powerful...
Was because it could observe nature and turn what it learned into its own strength.
The laws of the world were extraordinarily powerful.
But only after comprehending them could they truly become one's own knowledge and one's own power.
Conflicts over laws and fundamental principles were, in the end, merely clashes between different individuals' understanding of the world.
Opportunities to observe the fundamental structure of reality from such close range were extraordinarily rare.
Naturally, Karl would never waste such an opportunity.
He became completely absorbed.
Karl immersed himself entirely in comprehending what lay before him.

Was that his breakthrough had already caused an enormous upheaval throughout the Multiverse.
Karl's breakthrough had affected far more than Karl himself.
The living beings within the Multiverse...
And the Multiverse itself...
Influenced one another.
The Multiverse had enabled Karl to become powerful.
But at the same time, Karl's breakthrough also produced an enormous effect on the Multiverse.
The feedback from his Psychic Power caused the entire world to become stronger and more complete.
One had to understand...
There was no shortage of powerful beings within the Multiverse.
There were even quite a few beings whose strength had reached the level of the Five Great Gods.
However...
The strongest beings in the Marvel Universe generally obtained their power through innate advantages, technological means, mutations, accidents, or experimentation.
Almost none had reached the absolute pinnacle purely through persistent training and comprehension.
Even Scarlet Witch was no exception.
Scarlet Witch could only be said to have learned how to fully control the tremendous power that had always belonged to her.
It could not truly be said that she had acquired all of that power entirely through training.
In that sense...
Karl was completely unique.
His very existence had caused the Origin of the entire world to change.
And now, because of his breakthrough...
The will of the Multiverse directly absorbed enormous amounts of energy from the endless void beyond itself and underwent tremendous growth.
The will of the Multiverse itself advanced to a higher level.
Naturally, after obtaining such tremendous benefits from Karl, it would not be stingy toward him.
It directly opened itself to Karl as a reward, allowing him to observe the Origin of the world.
Meanwhile, the other powerful beings throughout the Multiverse were equally shocked.
"Incredible."
"Absolutely incredible."
"For the first time since the ancient era, the will of the world has actually grown stronger again."
"This is an extraordinary blessing for the entire Multiverse!"
"Perhaps we'll be able to grow alongside the Multiverse itself."
"This is an incredible opportunity!"
The gods were visibly excited.
If the world itself became stronger, they would naturally benefit as well.
Their own potential could rise to even greater heights.
A world limited entirely to ordinary beings could never naturally produce truly superhuman existences.
Likewise, a world whose limits only reached the superhuman level could never naturally give rise to true cosmic entities.
The scale and strength of a world determined the upper limit of the beings born within it.
The stronger the world became...
The greater the benefits they could obtain.
Everyone was overjoyed.
However...
There was one individual whose expression had become terrifyingly dark.
That individual was naturally Oblivion.
It could even be said that...
He was already on the verge of going insane.
Billions of years of planning...
Ruined in an instant.
He had been only one step away from success, only for everything to collapse at the final moment.
Even an existence like Oblivion wanted to go mad.
His hatred was almost unbearable.
And the most infuriating part was...
If someone had deliberately targeted him and successfully dismantled his plan, he could have accepted that.
He would have had nothing to say.
That would simply mean his opponent had been more capable.
They would certainly become enemies.
But Oblivion would still have respected that opponent's ability.
But now...
He had simply been caught in the consequences of someone else's breakthrough!
Someone had broken through, causing the will of the Multiverse to become stronger.
As a result...
The shackles binding Oblivion had not weakened.
Instead, they had become even stronger.
Those shackles were engraved directly into his soul.
They filled him with despair.
Since the moment his consciousness had first awakened, Oblivion had never experienced anything this absurd.
How could something this ridiculous possibly happen?
Having his path forward severed created an irreconcilable hatred!
Oblivion clenched his teeth so tightly that they nearly shattered.
The surrounding space became bitterly cold.
It was almost as though the entire world were about to freeze.
"How ridiculous."
"I never imagined that billions of years of planning would ultimately be ruined because of a mere mortal."
"How utterly ridiculous!"
Oblivion suddenly felt that this entire world was absurd.
Or perhaps...
The entire Multiverse itself was deliberately opposing him.
It was as though the world refused to allow his power to advance to a higher level.
As though he could only remain one of the Five Great Gods forever.
As though he could only remain a puppet of this world!
He refused to accept it!
He should never have been bound like this, restricted by some hollow purpose imposed upon him.
"If you refuse to let me advance..."
"Then I'll shatter this Multiverse."
"I will stand atop the ruins of this world and proclaim my existence once again."
"Everything that stands in the way of my path..."
"Will be destroyed!"
Oblivion seethed with rage.
In an instant, the entire Multiverse became restless.
It was almost as though the will of the world itself had sensed danger.
