The Marvel world was extraordinarily vast.
In theory, the multiverse was infinite.
Although the multiverse seemed to contain countless universes, it was actually only an insignificant fraction of this world.
Beyond the multiverse, there was an even larger, endless expanse of space.
However, outside it, aside from a few isolated regions, most of that expanse was an empty void where nothing existed.
Not even chaos power existed in that void.
The energy that could be seen everywhere inside the universe was completely absent in this place.
It was like a wasteland.
A wasteland of energy.
Yet even in such a harsh place, incomparably powerful creatures still existed.
Deep within an unknown region of space, a continent appeared out of nowhere.
Its size was utterly impossible to imagine.
At a glance, it looked like nothing more than a flat plain.
This enormous continent was larger than the entire multiverse.
Mysterious patterns were carved across its surface, releasing terrifying energy fluctuations.
Even a single-universe-level being would be unable to withstand those fluctuations and would instantly shatter beneath the pressure.
Even light itself dimmed before this continent.
No one knew how long it would take to cross that unimaginable distance.
Rumble!
A tremendous explosion echoed through the void.
The continent shook violently, and even began to twist.
Then, it moved.
This continent had actually begun to move.
If one looked from an unknowably distant place, they would see a gigantic humanoid being standing in the void.
There were no words that could describe just how majestic and colossal his body was.
Even the vast multiverse was no longer enough to describe his sheer size.
Such a grand and enormous existence should not have existed in this world at all.
And yet now, this incomparably massive being stood openly at the center of everything.
With his awakening, everything around him began to tremble.
Even the multiverse shook violently.
That alone showed just how terrifying this enormous being was.
"Not good!"
"He's about to wake up! Run!"
If one zoomed in on that figure by a billion times, they would see that there were actually two tiny black dots on that enormous black-purple body.
Zoom in a little more, and one would discover that those two tiny black dots were actually two powerful beings over ten thousand meters tall.
They wore battle armor and looked somewhat similar to the Celestials.
However, compared to the colossal figure beneath their feet, they were like mites on his skin. Unless one looked carefully, they could not be seen at all.
At this moment, they looked extremely panicked.
These two beings were comparable to the Primordial Celestial formed by the Celestials joining together, yet in this instant, they had completely lost their composure.
"Run!"
"The seal has completely failed! He has already awakened!"
"Run as far as you can!"
Their faces were filled with terror and panic.
They looked like prey being hunted in the dark.
"Where do you think you are going?"
At that moment, a vast voice rang out.
The two powerful Celestials immediately showed despair on their faces.
They knew that once he woke up, they would no longer be able to escape.
"First Firmament!"
"Your goal will never succeed."
"The current multiverse is no longer the multiverse of the past."
"They will stop you."
"You and your hounds will be sealed again. Sealed away forever!"
The two enormous ancient Celestials spoke in voices that were very loud, as though they were firm and unshaken.
However, anyone could hear the fear in their tone.
"Perhaps you are right, poor children."
"But you will no longer be able to see any of that."
The land beneath their feet, which was like a continent, suddenly manifested a whirlpool.
The two incomparably massive Celestials had no ability to resist at all.
They were swallowed directly by that black continent.
No.
There was not even the slightest ripple.
Placed inside the multiverse, they would absolutely have been among the strongest existences.
Even the Primordial Celestial formed by six Celestials was not as powerful as these two beings.
Yet now, these powerful existences had been swallowed with ease, without the slightest ability to resist.
It was as simple as crushing two insects.
This was the First Firmament.
One of the most powerful existences beyond the multiverse.
In fact, even the entire multiverse was only a fragment that had broken away from his body.
How vast was the multiverse?
It could be described as infinite.
Yet it was only a tiny part of the First Firmament's body.
To him, it was nothing more than an insignificant fragment.
From this alone, one could see just how terrifying and overwhelming the First Firmament was.
"Heh."
"I did not expect so much time to have passed."
"This slumber lasted a little too long."
The First Firmament's self-muttering voice rang out.
His grand voice echoed through this void with a deafening resonance.
"But the multiverse has actually developed to this extent?"
"How nostalgic."
The First Firmament could not help but sigh.
The original multiverse had only been a tiny fragment of his body.
Yet now, it had developed into such a flourishing state.
Even he felt a trace of envy.
"I must reclaim this fragment before I can truly be complete."
"If I reclaim this fragment, my power will also increase greatly."
A strange light flickered in the First Firmament's eyes.
After waking up, his eyes had already opened slightly.
Looking at this flourishing world, he remembered himself at the height of his power.
He felt that it was time to reclaim these powers.
Powerful light flashed continuously.
That was the First Firmament drawing what he had swallowed back into his enormous body.
"However, reclaiming this world will not be so easy."
"Such a flourishing world must contain a great number of powerful beings."
"I can sense powerful forces."
The First Firmament muttered to himself.
In the beginning, his power had been the strongest.
Out of boredom, he had created the Aspirants, the black Celestials, the oldest Celestial-like beings.
The Celestials of the present were merely creations made by the Aspirants.
In other words, he was the ancestor of the Celestials.
He was also the ancestor of every living being in the multiverse.
However, although he was the most ancient existence, the multiverse possessed immense potential.
After developing for so many years, it had naturally produced many powerful beings.
If he tried to force his way through, there would clearly be tremendous resistance.
"Obtaining powerful strength is not difficult."
"The difficult part is using one's mind."
"It is time for these descendants to feel my terror."
"As long as I destroy the balance of the multiverse, the entire multiverse will fall into my hands."
A sharp gleam flashed in the First Firmament's eyes.
Once the world began to descend into chaos, he would have his chance.
As for how to deal with this world, he had already made sufficient plans long ago.
