Chapter 232 - Chapter 232: Elder Gods from the Dawn of the World?

Within the endless field of spatial distortion, a mist of extremely strange color flickered continuously.

Objects did not truly possess color.

So-called color was merely humanity's perception of light.

It could be said that only after the human nervous system processed light did the thing humans called color come into existence.

But strangely enough, the pulsating thing in front of Karl was pure color.

It was color in its most absolute form.

There was nothing else mixed into it.

Karl could sense an inexplicable power inside it.

It was like the source of something.

The purest possible existence.

And this thing was still expanding nonstop.

It was like a beating heart, throbbing again and again as time passed.

It was as though something was about to be born inside it.

Karl raised an eyebrow.

He truly did not understand what this thing was.

However, he knew one thing.

He needed to destroy it directly.

Light flickered.

A purple glow appeared in Karl's palm.

This was one of the most destructive laws he had mastered.

The Law of Destruction.

It was a force of pure devastation!

Karl used his full strength.

His psychic power focused completely.

His understanding of laws and origins was poured entirely into it.

Everything he had comprehended over the years was infused into this attack.

In that instant, the purple light vanished.

Or rather, it could not truly be called vanishing.

The power was still there.

It had merely entered an unobservable state.

To a certain extent, his attack had already entered another layer.

A more essential layer.

It was like going beyond the deeper layer of space and entering an even more profound plane.

This was an attack that touched the level of rules.

It was undoubtedly an extremely powerful attack.

It could erase the existence of something from the most fundamental level.

Without the slightest hesitation, Karl fired it straight toward the target.

That silent, soundless attack erased everything.

Along its path, even the chaos aura was destroyed by this power, leaving absolutely nothing behind.

Compared to the methods Karl had used against the Celestials earlier, this attack was clearly even stronger and even more destructive.

Pfft.

A faint sound rang out.

A wisp of flame was pierced through and extinguished.

Karl's attack had actually had no effect at all.

"Such a powerful rule had no effect?"

"What the hell is this thing?"

Karl thought in confusion.

"But since an origin-level attack is useless, I'll try a physical attack."

Karl muttered to himself.

A crystalline longsword appeared directly in his hand.

In the blink of an eye, the blade extended to an utterly unimaginable length.

Without another word, Karl slashed at the thing in front of him.

Clang!

Hiss!

It was as though metal had struck metal, producing a cosmic resonance.

An ear-piercing hum even erupted around them.

The chaos aura nearby was scattered by that terrifying force.

The rules surrounding this place began to dissipate before such overwhelming and pure power.

Even that supposedly indestructible sphere was directly cut into.

"Looks like this works."

Karl murmured.

Then he swung the weapon he had condensed from power once more.

In the blink of an eye, he attacked a single point directly.

Even the surface of that indestructible round object now had a crack in it.

It looked as if Karl was about to cleave it open entirely.

Karl smiled slightly and prepared to continue his fierce assault.

However, that enormous, richly colored aura formed from the six Celestials suddenly expanded.

In an instant, it spread across tens of thousands of kilometers.

In the void beyond the universe, it was as though an enormous planet had suddenly appeared.

This thing was incomparably massive.

Blinding light emerged, and the surrounding chaos began to shake.

It was as if the entire world had changed.

The enormous golden sphere disappeared directly.

A gigantic figure appeared in its place.

Its body was unimaginably vast, like an unstoppable mountain.

The members of the Celestials had already been towering enough.

But now, their size was even more colossal.

In the universe, Knowhere was the size of a planet, yet it was only the head of a Celestial.

Now Karl finally understood how something like that had come into being.

"Mortal!"

"We grant you death!"

"You forced us to enter the Primeval God state. You must die!"

A gigantic voice rang out.

It was like a missile exploding above Karl's head.

The surrounding space buzzed loudly, as if it were trembling and shaking wildly.

Karl remained unmoved.

"What?"

"Do you think being big means I should be afraid?"

"Without enough skill, no matter how massive your body is, you're still nothing but a fool."

Karl snorted coldly.

His body flashed.

He appeared directly behind that enormous figure.

Without another word, the massive longsword in his hand slashed down.

However, the gigantic Celestial instead sank downward, lowering its entire body and instantly turning around.

Its hands closed together directly, and it actually caught Karl's enormous longsword between its palms.

"Ignorant human, you know nothing of the might of ancient gods."

"They are the greatest beings born at the dawn of this world!"

"We now possess power you cannot rival or even imagine!"

"We!"

"Are invincible!"

"We!"

"Are the combined embodiment of every perfect technique!"

The heavy voice exploded through the endless void.

It was as if a thunderclap had erupted in the surrounding emptiness.

"Ah!!"

However, it did not remain arrogant for long.

It immediately let out a miserable scream.

At some point, a sharp longsword had appeared in Karl's hand.

He had stabbed it directly through a gap in the Celestial's armor.

After completing their fusion, their power had increased, but they had also gained a tangible physical body.

It was as though they had gone from an energy construct into an armored statue.

Naturally, Karl could target it with his attacks.

"Heh. How ridiculous."

"No matter how powerful a force is, it still needs someone with a brain to use it."

"You can't use this overwhelming power at all."

Karl sneered.

This fused Celestial had only just reached a perfect state.

But Arishem and the others clearly had not fully mastered this terrifying power yet.

That was the very reason Karl could suppress them.

What could a child do with a handgun?

If they could not hit anyone, it meant nothing!

Karl directly beat them down.

His figure flickered continuously.

He appeared in different locations again and again.

Their unimaginably massive body had instead become an obstacle.

There were many places they simply could not reach.

They were far too huge and far too inflexible.

For a time, they were completely stunned by Karl's attacks.
