Baron Mordo moved straight into Kamar-Taj's infirmary.
That place had originally been used for injured sorcerers returning from other dimensions to recover.
Now Mordo had moved in as well.
It was not some major illness.
It was simply high blood pressure.
Sorcerers had excellent bodies, so such problems would normally never appear.
However, their emotional power was far too strong.
It could easily affect their physical bodies.
Even among ordinary people, there were cases where emotional changes caused physical changes.
That was even more true for these powerful sorcerers.
Mordo was exactly like that.
He had gone straight into the infirmary because of his blood pressure, which made Karl feel a little embarrassed.
Karl prepared a large amount of recovery medicine for him.
The other Master Sorcerers were so envious that their eyes nearly glowed red.
If not for the fact that their bodies were in good condition, they might have gone straight into the infirmary too.
Over the past few days, the Master Sorcerers came out of seclusion one after another.
Kamar-Taj suddenly became extremely lively.
Karl went straight to Wong.
"Master Sorcerer, have you stabilized your blood pressure?"
"Judging by your appearance, you must have gained a great deal."
Karl smiled as he spoke, acting harmless.
"I would not call it some great improvement."
"My power has merely advanced compared to before."
"I can barely be considered to have entered the realm of a Legendary Master Sorcerer."
Wong spoke with a smile.
"As expected of one of the few truly powerful Master Sorcerers in Kamar-Taj."
"Your breakthrough was only natural."
"I wonder what law you comprehended?"
Karl asked curiously.
"If the information I received from the unseen is correct…"
"The one I comprehended should be the Law of Force."
"My strength has increased quite a bit."
Wong smiled in an extremely honest and simple manner.
Karl was not disappointed either.
The Law of Force was also quite good.
As the saying went, overwhelming force could shatter all techniques.
As long as one's strength was powerful enough, nothing could block it.
Even time itself would somewhat lose its luster before the Law of Force.
Karl had clearly comprehended the Law of Force as well.
However, laws were things that everyone comprehended in completely different ways.
From the moment each person was born, their experiences were different, so their understanding of the world would naturally be different as well.
Their comprehension of laws would also vary.
Communication between two people would naturally create sparks of thought, making their power even more formidable.
"Master Sorcerer, why don't we exchange insights?"
Karl looked at Wong with great anticipation.
"You brat."
"You are not planning to send me into the infirmary too, are you?"
Wong looked at Karl very warily.
He was honest and sincere, but he was not stupid.
He had already heard about it.
After Mordo came out of seclusion, he excitedly spoke with Karl for only a short while.
Then he went straight into the infirmary.
Was this kid trying to send him in too?
Wasn't that a little too inhuman?
Wong looked at Karl with an extremely guarded expression.
"Ahem. Master Sorcerer, please don't look at me like that."
"What happened to Mordo was an accident."
"He got angry and his blood pressure shot up. What does that have to do with you?"
Karl spoke with an innocent expression.
"Is what you said true?"
Wong asked suspiciously.
"Of course it's true. Why would I need to deceive you?"
"I have always respected my teachers and valued learning. I am someone eager to learn."
Karl spoke with a wronged expression.
This matter truly could not be blamed on him.
He had merely learned a law right in front of Mordo.
Who knew Mordo would be so fragile?
He directly could not take it.
Could Karl be blamed for that?
Absolutely not!
Karl also felt extremely wronged about this.
Hearing this, Wong thought about it carefully.
It did seem to be the case.
Karl's displayed character was not so poor as to do something like that.
Besides, Mordo had not done anything to wrong Kamar-Taj.
There was no need for Karl to target him at all.
Perhaps the truth was exactly as Karl had said.
There should not be any problem.
"Fine. We will do as you say."
"I will show you my Law of Force."
Wong glanced at Karl.
Then he gave Karl a reminder.
Wong finally made his move.
He hammered his fist toward the space in front of him.
The air before him began to tremble.
Wave after wave appeared.
The surrounding air seemed to vibrate.
A stone slab beneath his fist directly turned into fine dust.
It was not merely powder.
It had been decomposed into the most basic atoms.
Karl was somewhat surprised.
This application of the Law of Force actually did not produce flames.
"Is this resonance?"
Karl thought for a moment, then asked.
"That's right. It is resonance."
Wong nodded.
In physics, resonance referred to objects with the same frequency vibrating together.
To describe it more simply:
It used the Law of Force to simulate vibration at a certain frequency, causing other things to vibrate even more intensely, thereby unleashing extremely powerful force.
This was an aspect Karl had never come into contact with before.
He remembered that in the Marvel world, there was an Inhuman called Quake who possessed a similar ability.
Her raw power was not necessarily overwhelming, yet by relying on a certain resonant frequency, she had once directly destroyed the entire Earth.
This was a form of power where a small input produced an enormous output.
It was like the butterfly effect.
An extremely tiny fluctuation could generate tremendous power because of frequency.
This law could unleash formidable strength.
[Ding!]
[Detected that the host has observed the Power of Resonance. God-Tier Talent has produced a hundredfold critical strike.]
[You have mastered a branch application of the Law of Force: Resonance.]
The familiar system notification rang out.
Karl sensed a profound and mysterious fluctuation.
The mysteries of resonance were already completely within his grasp.
"Using the Law of Force for resonance."
"Please see whether it is like this."
Karl stretched out a finger toward the space in front of him.
The surrounding air began to vibrate violently.
Pop.
The ground directly shattered.
And compared to Wong's demonstration, it was even more thorough.
It looked as though an entire section of ground had directly evaporated into thin air.
The corners of Wong's mouth twitched uncontrollably.
He learned it again?
Magic was one thing.
But laws too?
He understood it with a single glance?
Then what exactly had Wong spent all these years comprehending?
Wasn't this something that required years of comprehension?
Wong took a deep breath.
He felt a little dizzy.
He finally understood why even Mordo, who was built like a brick wall, had developed high blood pressure.
After seeing something like this, who wouldn't get high blood pressure?
Who wouldn't want to die?
"Karl."
"In the future, do not learn other people's magic right in front of them."
Wong spoke with deep sincerity.
"What's wrong, Master Sorcerer? Is that impolite?"
Karl asked curiously.
"No. I'm afraid they will beat you to death."
Wong spoke with a completely serious expression.
At this, Karl could only smile awkwardly.
"Don't worry. I will be more careful in the future."
"However, someone capable of beating me to death is probably not that easy to find."
Karl coughed and spoke.
Hearing this, Wong took a deep breath.
His blood pressure rose again.
