Hunter B-15 was a seasoned captain who had seen a great deal.
After all these years, her footsteps had spread across the entire Multiverse.
It could be said that even many powerful beings could not compare to her in terms of perspective.
But at this moment, when she saw that Karl was completely unaffected by the slowed time, B-15's face twitched.
"Activate the Reset Charge!"
"Retreat! We're retreating!"
B-15 shouted.
Something that looked like a grenade was thrown out.
Using it as cover, they opened a Timedoor directly in front of themselves and rushed inside.
Karl, however, was in no hurry to chase them.
He reached out.
The Reset Charge they had mentioned flew directly into his hand.
Under their settings, the device had already begun to activate.
Karl saw the golden light inside the device change directly, quickly turning purple.
Purple light bloomed from within it.
Everything around it seemed to be erased.
The surrounding matter was wiped away by some mysterious force, turning into an empty void.
"It actually erased everything on the timeline directly."
Even Karl could not help feeling a little surprised.
What this device did was simple.
It erased the future of this place.
It was as if everything within this universe's timeline had been devoured.
A tiny device had erupted with terrifying energy.
Karl reached out.
Crack.
He crushed the device into powder with his bare hand.
The energy inside did not affect Karl in the slightest.
Light flickered in his eyes.
The Law of Time flowed backward within his pupils.
He was carefully observing these people's origins.
"A Timedoor?"
"Do these people have an independent space outside this universe?"
Karl thought to himself.
Their appearance had left no trace in this world.
That meant they were not existences from within this universe at all.
The place they came from had a temporal order completely different from the temporal order of Karl's universe.
The two did not restrict or interfere with each other.
That was the reason they could appear at any time and any place.
"Interesting. There's actually an organization like this in this world."
"Then I'll have to go take a look."
"And maybe I can rescue the sorcerers."
Karl thought to himself.
If his guess was correct, time in that external space had to be extremely special.
It could even be said that time held no meaning there.
Based on his observations of those people, Karl made a bold guess.
The time within this so-called Time Variance Authority might be static.
And unlike conventional stopped time, the stopped time there did not affect their movements.
"The Marvel Universe truly is vast beyond measure."
"It really has everything."
"Let me see where you went."
Karl muttered to himself.
Light flickered in his pupils.
The power of time flowed continuously through his eyes.
"It isn't simple spatial teleportation."
"Instead, they use a timestamp to determine a specific point on the timeline."
"Truly clever."
Karl sighed inwardly.
They used time as a security lock.
Their passage was forever positioned in the past.
Even if someone found the spatial coordinates, they still could not locate it through time.
That made ordinary countermeasures useless.
Without control over the power of time, there was simply no way to deal with it.
Unfortunately, they had run into Karl.
Countless rays of light flickered in his pupils, and innumerable characters flowed through his eyes.
He was calculating the timestamp.
A moment later, he drew one finger across the air in front of him.
A rift appeared.
Karl stepped inside without the slightest hesitation.
By the time he left, it was already too late.
Whether it was Karl, the sorcerers, or the people from the Time Variance Authority, all of them had already disappeared.
They had left no trace behind.
The Master Sorcerers were completely baffled.
The sorcerers' movements and objectives had been thrown into disarray.
Karl, however, had already arrived at an extremely wondrous place.
This place looked as if it were within a universe.
In the void, an enormous city floated.
Densely packed buildings, bustling streets, and vehicles filled with a strong sense of science fiction.
It looked completely like a great future metropolis on Earth.
There was only one difference between this place and the outside world.
Time here was static.
It was somewhat similar to a time loop.
Although time was clearly still, it did not prevent the people here from moving within it.
However, Karl could sense that the energy within his body had been greatly restricted.
It could not exactly be called suppression.
Rather, the magic power within his body had fallen into stopped time.
In a certain sense, his power was trapped within static time, yet his body could still move freely.
This strange sensation felt extremely odd to Karl.
He kept trying to mobilize his energy, wanting to see whether he could break through the restraints of time and allow the magic power in his body to move again.
But the temporal confinement was extremely powerful.
Karl kept probing it, continuously triggering the mysteries of time.
On his side, he seemed to be genuinely enjoying himself.
Inside the Time Variance Authority, however, everything had already exploded into chaos.
All kinds of piercing alarms kept ringing.
The entire Time Variance Authority was trembling violently.
Inside the Time Variance Authority, whether they were field personnel or analysts, everyone's face was filled with panic.
Even the Time Variance Authority's artificial intelligence, Miss Minutes, was shouting nonstop.
"It's over, it's over!"
"The Time Variance Authority is finished!"
"The Sacred Timeline can't be saved anymore! The entire Time Variance Authority is going to be destroyed!"
Miss Minutes' sharp voice kept ringing out.
"Shut up!"
The Time Variance Authority's current judge, who was also its apparent ruler, shouted.
Miss Minutes immediately shut her mouth.
"Tell me exactly what happened!"
"Why is our entire Time Variance Authority shaking?"
The judge spoke with an extremely ugly expression.
"A powerful being has broken into our Time Variance Authority."
"He is attacking the Time Variance Authority's temporal barrier."
"Once the barrier is destroyed, something terrifying will happen!"
Miss Minutes' holographic projection kept jumping around.
A holographic model of the Time Variance Authority appeared in midair.
Within the projection, the entire Time Variance Authority was wrapped in some kind of power.
"What terrifying thing will happen?"
The judge asked in a low voice.
"The Sacred Timeline will collapse!"
"The entire Multiverse will collapse directly!"
"We're all finished!"
Miss Minutes shouted as she bounced around.
Hearing this, the judge's face darkened like still water.
"Think of a solution."
"I'm just an artificial intelligence! What solution could I possibly have?"
"You're the one who should be thinking of a solution!"
Miss Minutes said.
"I'm going to see the Time-Keepers."
The judge said this, then turned and left.
