Under his control, a terrifying spell array began to take shape.
In the blink of an eye, that spell array covered a radius of hundreds of millions of kilometers.
At the center of the spell array was, naturally, Galactus.
Powerful energies surged ceaselessly inside Galactus's body. Some of them were so terrifying that even Karl found them alarming.
However, that power did not erupt.
Instead, it kept absorbing the power within Galactus. His body had already shrunk to less than one ten-thousandth of its previous size.
"With such a massive flaw inside his body, this guy still dared to come out and throw his weight around?"
Karl thought, a little puzzled.
That state did not last long.
As time passed, Galactus's size kept shrinking, and faster and faster at that.
Before long, Galactus had shrunk to only around ten meters tall.
To ordinary humans, that might still count as gigantic.
But for Galactus, who had earlier been as large as a planet, this level of compression was simply unbelievable.
Now Galactus looked like a sphere of light a bit over ten meters across.
However, Galactus's aura also stabilized.
Karl raised his guard and began slowly gathering his own terrifying power.
Sure enough, just as he had expected, the gray, hazy sphere of light quickly cracked open.
A humanoid creature over three meters tall stepped out.
His body was covered in highly metallic armor.
From the gaps in it leaked faint glimmers of light.
"Human, you actually forced me into my second form."
"Even if I devour your planet, it still won't make up for my losses."
Galactus's expression was dark, clearly displeased.
Karl's face, however, did not change at all.
"Who told you to come to Earth?"
"If you'd behaved yourself and stayed in the depths of the cosmos, none of this would've happened."
Galactus's face twitched.
"What a sharp-tongued brat."
"A pity. You're destined to die here today!"
Galactus glared and shouted.
"Then let's see whether you actually have that kind of ability!"
Karl sneered.
Without another word, taking advantage of Galactus's moment of inattention, he directly activated the gigantic spell array hidden in the freezing void.
Galactus was startled.
"You despicable human! You launched another sneak attack!"
"What a joke. In battle, of course you use every means available."
"Showing mercy to an enemy is cruelty to yourself."
Karl did not hesitate in the slightest.
Golden light flared in both of his hands.
The mighty Bolts of Balthakk transformed into a golden dragon and charged at Galactus without the slightest hesitation.
"And you actually think this kind of power can hurt me? You overestimate yourself."
"Divine power is only something to deal with mortals like you."
Galactus mocked him coldly.
The gap between different kinds of power was enormous.
It was like making a weapon from wood, bronze, or iron—the strength it could display would be completely different.
Ordinary power was like wood, divine power was like bronze, and the power of laws was like iron.
Among mortals who could only wield wood, divine power was indeed formidable.
But against him, it naturally was nothing special.
Galactus looked at Karl with a cold sneer.
The two bolts of lightning struck directly against his armor.

Several strands of golden lightning shot straight at Galactus.
The Bolts of Balthakk kept spreading through the void.

Galactus said arrogantly.

a bolt of golden lightning splattered directly across Galactus's face.

Galactus convulsed from the shock.
Even his speech became stuttered and broken.
"L-Law...!!!"
His body was still trembling under the force of the lightning, and the expression on his face twisted completely.
Shock filled his face.
And in his heart, towering waves had already been set off.
This brat had actually comprehended the Law of Lightning in such a short time?
