Chapter 11 - Chapter 11 When Necessary, Be Flexible And Adapt!

Seeing Kyle's slightly stunned expression, Luffy's smile grew even wider.

Sure enough, Kyle was also very satisfied, very shocked by these words he said.

The previous words were all things Luffy secretly learned from Kyle by watching Kyle argue with Sengoku the Buddha several times before.

As for the later part, it was what he came up with after summarizing it himself.

Since Kyle had just praised him, he must think what he said was very good, so naturally, Luffy had to put in more effort and exert his full strength.

Kyle did not answer Luffy. Instead, his feet slowly moved backward.

At the same time, he pointed a finger behind Luffy.

"Huh?!"

Just as a trace of confusion appeared on Luffy's face, he suddenly felt a strong sense of threat coming from behind him.

He subconsciously turned to look. What greeted his eyes was Garp's pupils, burning with raging flames.

Each word was squeezed out from between his teeth.

"Lu… ffy!!!"

Before his voice faded, a fist flashed into existence above Luffy's head.

Thud!!

A dull thud sounded. In just the blink of an eye, Luffy's head smashed into the ground, creating a small crater.

!!

Kyle, who had already sensed trouble and run far away, couldn't help but have his eyelids twitch several times seeing this scene.

This really is a biological grandson!

Taking a look at Luffy lying motionless on the ground, the most Kyle could do for him was chant some sutras for the dead.

His original intention just now was to get Luffy to tone it down a bit. He didn't expect Luffy to instead charge forward even more fiercely. Well, there was nothing to be done then. He had already warned him.

Before Kyle could react further, he suddenly felt a sense of threat locking onto him.

Looking up, he saw Garp walking towards him step by step, his two eyes still like two burning flames.

"Kyle, you taught Luffy to say those things just now, didn't you?"

"I entrusted my grandson to you, and this is how you train him for me? Having him point at his own grandfather's nose and curse?"

Hearing this, Kyle immediately became unhappy.

He directed a series of greetings at Garp.

"What's all this babbling from the old codger? I never taught him that. He learned it himself!"

"What, you can blame that on me too?"

"It's all your fault!!"

Garp roared loudly, his figure instantly disappearing from its original spot.

At the same time, an intense sense of threat instantly filled Kyle's entire body.

Without any hesitation, a flash of purple lightning, and Kyle's figure also disappeared from its original spot.

And just one second after he disappeared, a fist appeared where Kyle had originally been standing.

The fist slammed straight into the ground.

Boom!

A tremendous sound erupted. Powerful force burst forth and blasted from the fist.

A giant crater dozens of meters in diameter abruptly appeared. Countless shattered stones flew about, and dust filled the air.

Not far away, Kyle's figure materialized within a flash of purple lightning.

Looking at the destructive power of Garp's punch, the veins on his forehead throbbed wildly.

Is this old codger trying to kill me?

Is this kind of fist really suitable to use against a mere six-year-old child?

In an instant, Kyle's eyes turned fierce.

Since you, old codger, have no martial virtue, then don't blame him!

He was not someone who knew others were going to hit him and still stood there dumbly without fighting back.

Whether you can win the fight is one thing. Whether you choose to fight is another.

Kyle raised his right hand high and said in a low voice,

"Judgment!"

Crackle!!

A purple thunderbolt descended from the clear sky, fiercely striking towards Garp within the dust cloud.

Boom!

A shockwave exploded, accompanied by countless tiny purple lightning snakes scattering in all directions, also dispersing the thick dust cloud.

Garp could be seen standing upright not far away, a smile curling at the corner of his mouth.

"The Rumble-Rumble Fruit? Interesting!"

"Kid! Come, let this old man see if your strength is as powerful as your verbal skills!"

Kyle's expression did not change in the slightest.

With another wave of his hand, several lightning spears materialized in the air and, under Kyle's control, shot fiercely towards Garp.

Garp's expression remained completely unchanged. He raised his fists and smashed towards these lightning spears.

One by one, the lightning spears were shattered by Garp, dissipating directly in the air.

"Huh?!"

A trace of surprise suddenly appeared on Garp's face. He raised his fist to look. The knuckles showed slight signs of charring.

This discovery couldn't help but surprise Garp.

Although he wasn't using Armament Haki, given his physical toughness, he wasn't that easily injured.

Especially his fists, the hardest part of his entire body.

"Really quite interesting!!"

A glint of interest appeared in Garp's eyes.

He slightly bent his legs, gave a powerful leap. The ground instantly shattered, and his figure shot towards Kyle at a speed impossible for the naked eye to follow.

Kyle, whose attention had been on Garp the whole time, naturally reacted immediately. His body transformed into lightning and he fled once again.

But the moment he appeared at the next location, he discovered Garp had already arrived there even earlier than him.

A malicious smile played on Garp's lips as a fist landed squarely in his abdomen.

In that instant, Kyle felt as if he had been hit by a speeding train locomotive. A mouthful of bitter fluid involuntarily rushed up and he spat it out.

His figure instantly shot backward like a cannonball, flying continuously. Just as he was about to crash into the mountain wall behind him, Kyle's body suddenly dissipated into countless strands of purple lightning.

The lightning snakes wriggled and swam through the air, finally coalescing back into Kyle's form beside Zephyr.

The intense pain from his abdomen made Kyle grimace and grit his teeth, constantly sucking in cold air. He looked up towards Garp and extended a finger.

"You old codger really have no shame. Beating up a six-year-old child and you even use Observation Haki and Armament Haki! You truly disgrace the face of the Marine Hero!!"

"Oh! Quite tough, kid!"

"Seeing you so lively, do you want another taste of this old man's Love-Filled Iron Fist?"

As he spoke, Garp clenched his fists and continued walking towards Kyle.

Kyle's face immediately changed. He moved behind Zephyr and tugged on Zephyr's sleeve.

"Teacher!!!"

"This old codger wants to beat up your disciple, and you're just going to watch?"

The headstrong phase was over. He had already tasted the consequences of being headstrong.

Continuing to be headstrong now wouldn't be very smart.

As the saying goes, When necessary, be flexible and adapt!

When there's no real need to fight, strategic retreat is very necessary.

A slight smile curved at the corner of Zephyr's mouth as he looked at Kyle.

"You didn't come to me first thing earlier. I thought you could handle this old guy yourself!"

"I didn't want to lose face for you, old teacher!"

"Otherwise, later they'd say the soldier you trained surrendered without even fighting!"

Kyle rubbed his head and chuckled.

"You little rascal!!"

Zephyr couldn't help but laugh.

Looking at Kyle before him, Zephyr inexplicably felt some of the furrows in his brow relax.

Perhaps because Kyle was young, Zephyr's attitude towards him was different from towards his other Marine disciples.

It felt more like he was treating his own grandson.

If that incident hadn't happened back then, perhaps his own son would have given him a little guy like this!

Thinking of this, a shadow briefly passed through Zephyr's eyes, but he quickly composed himself.

He looked at Garp and chided lightly,

"Alright, Garp! At your age, still picking on a child!"

"Can't even win an argument against a child. If I were you, I'd be too embarrassed to speak!"

Garp: ???
