Point of View: Genesis
I returned to the core with a much calmer mind… and a clear objective.
When I arrived, I found Elena waiting for me.
And a boy standing beside her.
I looked at Elena first, then turned to the boy and raised an eyebrow.
I had expected something like this… but I never imagined he would take this form. His childlike appearance contrasted sharply with what he truly was. That innocent smile could barely conceal the depth I sensed in his essence.
With a relaxed tone, I spoke:
"Alright… I think it's time we introduce ourselves and have a little talk. Sound good?"
They both nodded.
"Perfect. Is here okay, or would you prefer somewhere else?"
Elena waved her hand casually, and a table with three chairs appeared before us. That little detail actually surprised me.
We sat down, and I started the conversation.
"In case you don't know, my name is Genesis. What are your names? Or… do you not have names yet?"
Elena answered first.
"You can call me Elena. I like that name, Genesis."
Then I looked at the boy. He had a finger in his mouth, as if truly pondering his answer. After a few seconds, he broke into a huge smile.
"Call me Loki."
I nodded calmly.
"Then I hope we can work well together, Elena… Loki."
Elena nodded gracefully. Loki tilted his head to the side, his expression curiously adorable.
"What has you so intrigued, Loki?" I asked.
"You're taking this far more calmly than I expected. You don't look angry… or surprised. Why?"
I rolled my eyes at his comment.
"Loki, you should understand this better than anyone. Losing fifty percent of the planet's control would worry me if it were the work of some external entity… or an unknown creation. But not when it comes to you two."
I didn't need proof to know who they were. I had created them from the beginning. I could feel their essence connected to mine.
"Besides," I continued seriously, "if one of us dies, the others will fall too. Each part is essential… vital to the planet."
We shared the same body. Now they had consciousness, their own souls… but our fates were still intertwined.
"I see…" Loki murmured. His expression shifted slightly.
I leaned forward, my tone more serious.
"What can you do?"
Both of them grew serious.
Elena spoke first.
"My main function hasn't changed. I maintain life on the planet and ensure physical stability. But now I have more freedom. I can modify gravity in specific areas, alter atmospheric pressure… even construct structures."
To demonstrate, she created a potted plant in front of us. Within seconds, it grew before our eyes.
Then we turned to Loki.
"My functions as the Genesis Records remain the same," he explained, "but now I can make deeper modifications. I can manipulate Origin Energy with far greater precision."
He extended his hand, gathering energy, and a pure, dense crystal appeared before us, perfectly structured.
Then they both looked at me.
It was my turn.
"My powers haven't changed in essence either. I can create new intelligent races when I ascend… and alter the laws within the planet."
I paused briefly before continuing.
"But now I can join those races. After creating them, they will hold me in deep respect… admiration. They won't be slaves, but if I ask something, it will be difficult for them to refuse."
Their gazes intensified.
"And most importantly…" I couldn't help but smile.
"Now, I can fight."
Elena's eyes widened slightly.
"Fight?"
Loki leaned forward, clearly excited.
"If the core is in danger, I can battle using this body without restrictions. And not only in emergencies—I can do it whenever I want… although using too much power will require time before I can use it again."
For the first time since all of this began, I felt something close to euphoria.
"At last… I can defend myself."
Loki beamed.
"That's amazing news!"
Elena smiled too, this time without reservation.
"This changes our position entirely."
For the first time, we weren't just targets.
We were a potential threat.
But my expression hardened again.
I looked at Loki seriously.
"How serious was the situation for me to have to become a user of the Genesis Records?"
Elena intervened firmly.
"Yes, Loki. Now Genesis will face tribulations every time he ascends. That puts our lives at risk."
Loki sighed, and for the first time, his childish expression vanished.
"I didn't want to do it… but there was no other choice. I could sense that Genesis's fate and fortune were being drained continuously. At this rate, it was only a matter of time before misfortune caught up with us."
Silence fell heavily.
The universe was attacking me once again.
"Did I recover my fortune and destiny?" I asked.
Loki looked me directly in the eyes.
"Yes. By becoming a user, the balance was restored. You regained what had been taken from you. The universe can no longer drain it… but now you will face the tribulations like any other user."
So that was the condition.
The universe truly could not be underestimated.
