The questions came in the same order, then out of order, then in order again. The same details requested, repeated, cross-referenced. The panel was thorough. They gave nothing away in their expressions.
Benjamin sat to one side with Ara, called in whenever the questions turned technical. They confirmed dosages, identified compounds by their effects, corroborated the sequencing of the research. When Wren's scientific answers landed on the table, Benjamin and Ara were asked to verify them. When they matched, not a word was said. The panel simply moved on to the next question.
