Dust filled the air as the strange object landed with great impact. The boy got up from the ground and coughed due to the dust. He walked towards the crash spot, waving his hand to clear the dust from his view. He walked closer and noticed a glowing light.
He moved much closer; the crash spot was like a pit, so he slid down and moved toward the glowing light. He approached the glowing object slowly, unsure of what it actually was, so he had to be careful.
On a closer look, the boy could see clearly that it was a crystal-shaped object, and it kept glowing like a beacon.
The boy got closer to the strange crystal, which was blue in color and larger than the size of a grown man's hand. The boy was fascinated by the crystal, and his curiosity led him to inspect it more closely while being careful at the same time. He bent down a bit to take a closer look at the crystal.
"Where in the world did this strange crystal come from, and why did it crash here?" he wondered in surprise as he looked at the glowing, strange crystal.
"Am I the only one who heard the noise of the crash? How come it didn't wake anyone up?" He pondered how such a loud noise from the crystal's crash did not wake anyone.
"But this came from outer space. This is indeed an unprecedented discovery. I do want to know about this crystal," the boy said with helplessness as his curiosity led him to inspect it further up close. Suddenly, his eyes caught five symbols drawn on five sides of the crystal.
He examined the symbols closely, and his eyes brightened with an expression of discovery.
"Wait a minute, these symbols look somewhat familiar," he said with an uncertain look as he looked at them more closely. Suddenly, he found out that the symbols represented elements.
"Oh, now I get it! These symbols represent five elements. That one at the center represents fire, the two on the left sides represent water and ice, and the two other symbols on the right represent wind and lightning. This is insane I just discovered something amazing!"
He spoke with excitement, his voice the only sound in the dead of night. He was awake past his bedtime, and his siblings and parents were already fast asleep.
His curiosity made him touch the crystal. As he placed his hand on the glowing crystal, he felt an icy cold feeling from it, as cold as ice. It sent a refreshing feeling throughout his entire body. And then he felt a sharp pain in his middle finger.
"Ouch!"
He pulled his hand away from the crystal and looked at his middle finger, seeing a cut. He noticed his blood on the crystal, and the crystal absorbed it, shocking the boy to the core because obviously, he had never seen anything like that in his life.
Then the symbols began to glow different colors: the fire symbol glowed red, the water symbol glowed blue, the ice symbol glowed white, the wind symbol glowed yellow, and the lightning symbol glowed purple. The crystal began floating from the ground into mid-air, and the boy watched in utter disbelief. Soon, the crystal was floating above the boy's head, and he looked on in shock.
"What in the world is going on? This thing absorbed my blood, the symbols are glowing, and it's floating in mid-air. What in the world is this?" he said in utter disbelief, his eyes filled with shock as he stared at the floating crystal.
Then, suddenly, the crystal transformed into a beam of blue light and rushed toward the boy.
"Why is it heading for me?"
Swish
The beam of light slammed into his chest, and a golden light surrounded his body. His eyes glowed white.
"Uggh!!"
He held his head in pain as the veins in his face swelled up, looking like they would burst any minute, and his muscles began to expand. He felt a stream of energy flowing into every part of his body. The energy flowed through his bloodstream and into his organs, and he felt a painful burning sensation inside.
The energy swirled around his body, and his body began to undergo drastic changes.
Boom
The golden energy shot up into the sky like a beam. The sudden noise jolted a man and a woman from their sleep.
"Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" He screamed in pain from the over-surge of energy and the newfound power in his body.
Then, two people were seen running out of the house a man and a woman both shouting his name as they ran toward him.
The boy saw them, but his view became blurry and he grew dizzy as the crystal fused with him. A crystal-shaped symbol appeared on his wrist.
Thud
The boy fell to the ground. He saw the man and woman close to him, the man holding his hand and the woman behind him saying something, but he couldn't hear their voices. His sight became dark as he shut his eyes.
