Inside the Situation Room, every screen still displayed financial data from around the world. C urrency markets. Commodity exchanges. Shipping indexes. International bond yields. Every few seconds, another chart refreshed.
Dorian hadn't taken his eyes off them since sunrise. Then...he blinked."Magnus."
Magnus looked up from the archive files.
"What?"
Dorian pointed at the main screen.
"The selling stopped."Everyone turned.
The flood of artificial sell orders that had battered the Valen dollar for days...
was shrinking. Not disappearing.
Shrinking.
Another analyst leaned toward his monitor.
"Trading volume is falling."
A second analyst spoke almost immediately.
"Foreign institutions are buying again."
Silence spread through the room.
