During her fight with Halovel, Runo was running as fast as she could as she dodged and countered flying missiles made from blue lightning with a katana she had summoned, explosions blasted accross the wastelands as Halovel was flying after Runo as she shot endless lightning arrows at her. Halovel's form had changed, the being was now covered in a dress of blue lightning, and her body looked more human than she was energy. Runo had already noticed this "During our fight, she had changed her form from white lightning to blue lightning. Not just that, but she looks completely human too. That means she's gotten stronger, no doubt.", Halovel seemed to be able to easily keep up with Runo as she kept on firing lightning arrows at her "You seem to be the type who thinks a lot, don't you?", she sneered. Runo replied as she sliced through every lightning attack that flew her way, as well as weaving and dodging as she shot energy beams from her hands to give her better diversity "Yeah! I do. You don't seem like the kind of being to be all that arrogant either.", Halovel rose further into the sky and stretched her hands out, causing a giant ring of lightning that gathered up a dangerous amount of power in the sky "YEAH! I ACTUALLY AM!". She proceeded to wave her hand down, a powerful torrent of electricity followed down destroying everything below. As the explosion of lightning did its job by disintegrating everything in its way, Runo thought to herself as she ran with mechanical boots that gave her a chance to keep up with her enemy in terms of speed "How do I end this fight? Her output's only gotten more, and she doesn't seem to be getting low on energy too. I on the other hand is losing a lot of energy.", she clicked her tongue "Tch!". Runo proceeded to open up a magic circle with the power of her Orutimushira artifact "I'll deal with that later!", she exclaimed with frustration, sealing away a large portion of the lightning explosion. Halovel noticed this and couldn't help but to think "Is she absorbing my lightning?", Runo thought to herself "There are weapons that are capable of giving you a boost of strength, and there are one's that only get stronger based on how strong the user of said weapon is. In my case, the artifacts I use don't entirely follow that rule.". She continued to think "For instance, if I were to seal away someone significantly stronger than I am, Orutimushira would seal the person, but on a slower rate. If it were to be a weapon that defies the idea of who's stronger and weaker, then i can seal away any one I want to. The same thing can be said for my Tryton which gives me a two times boost in power when i use it.", her eyes narrowed "Guess I only have a choice to use here.". Halovel increased the output of her lightning "JUST DIE ALREADY!", she growled, releasing more power before her attack created another terrifying explosion of lightning. As the smoke of the explosion covered everywhere, Halovel slowly decended to the ground "Well, looks like I can't sense her energy anymore. I wonder if I was able to beat her.". She instantly felt something, without warning, giant snakes made from red energy erupted from the ground, all of them charging up red energy beams of lightning in their mouths. Halovel looked upwards in shock, taking the beams of energy to the face. In a second, she flew out of the explosions caused by the beams, the snakes chased after her at unrelenting speeds, trying to get a hold of her as they clapped their jaws closed while trying to tear her apart. Halovel thought to herself "Hm? What is this?", Runo immediately appeared from behind, pointing two powerful pistols that charged up energy. She instantly turned back I'm slow motion while Runo smirked, shooting two powerful bullets from behind. Halovel created a shield with her blue lightning in order to block the incoming fatal shots, she seemed irritated "You vile human!". She blocked both dangerously powerful bullets from Runo with the help of her shield of lightning before charging up some power into her hand and then proceeded to go for a punch against Runo. Runo's eyes narrowed and coated her hands with energy, going for a block before they both escalated in a flurry of brutal hand to hand combat. The two women blasted through the wastelands with insane speeds and dangerous punching force, turning around and punching through mountains. As they fought on ground and in air, Runo ended up summoning two giant energy sabers, Halovel created giant shurikens of blue lightning as well "YOU LITTLE....", Halovel exclaimed with frustration. She immediately threw her lightning shurikens that flew after Runo, tearing through the air and turning everything around them to ashes when they flew by. Runo knew these shurikens were bad news, she started performing all sorts of stunts and skills as she countered them with her sabers. Even when she was able to cut through them and occasionally run away from them for distance, they only gained more speed in order to cut and burn her into pieces. Runo's mind raced "Shit! This is starting to get hard! I'm starting to think Veronica sending me here was a bad idea.", Runo had gotten distracted with her thoughts, giving way for Halovel to fly in and punch Runo on the gut with a heavy lightning powered punch. Runo coughed out a massive amount of blood as she got electrocuted by trillions of volts "GHUAHGA!", the shurikens of lightning that she had struggled against had caught up to her in this state of pain and shock. Runo was instantly electrocuted with dangerous amounts of electricity "GAAAAHA!", she screamed in pain even tho she was able to use the tips of her swords to hold off the shurikens that rolled on them "FUCK! I knew those shurikens were dangerous! How do I get out of this situation?!". Halovel swooped in again with another punch of lightning and then proceeded to punch Runo straight accross the wastelands, blue explosions of lightning once again let lose. Runo violently turned and crashed accross the lands "GAH! GHUA! FUCKING HELL!", she exclaimed in her head. By the time she was able to get her balance, she had noticed giant fists of blue and white lightning in the air, all ready to fall and obliterate her. Runo coughed out blood and clicked her tongue "Damn it, Lady Veronica! By the time I get back from this mission, you better pay me big time!". She did a hand sign, black symbols appeared on the ground she stood above, stretching up to miles "Looks like I've got to go all out with this one. If I can't constantly use my artifacts, my abilities would work as usual.". Halovel noticed this "I see, so that's how your ability truly works. Instead of using special objects to summon weapons for you, you are the one who summons your weapons yourself.", she slowly started to create a sword from her lightning "I must say, you're an interesting human. Unfortunately I'd have to kill you!". Runo called out "SPECIAL TECHNIQUE.....", Halovel also called out "ULTIMATE TECHNIQUE.....!". Runo finished the chant "DEATH ARTILARY BRIGADE!", Halovel finished calling out her technique "HEAVEN'S WRATH!". Her sword of white lightning stretched into the sky as her fists of lightning fell to the ground. Cannons had started to materialize out of the black markings on the floors of the wastelands that stretched up to miles. Runo commander her cannons that had appeared, all of them reaching up to three hundred billion in number "FIRE!", she gave the command with the stretch of her hand. They instantly took to the command of her master that had summoned her, each blast from her cannons colliding with the lightning fists that all fell down from above. Runo stretched out her hand, preparing for Halovel's HEAVEN'S WRATH that was about to cut her in two and burn her into nothing.
