Diablo(14 years old), and Kazuma(24 years of age) were sitted together on the grasslands, they had just finished sparring with each other. Both Kazuma and Diablo were drained, but Kazuma seemed to feel extatic despite that. Kazuma exclaimed "WHOOO! That was a nice sparring session. Don't you think, Diablo?", Diablo replied while slowly catching his breath, his left hand resting on his right knee "Yeah, sure. Always trying to nuke me and claiming its an accident.". Kazuma teased "Ahh? You're still sad about that? Come on now kid.", Diablo was feeling salty "Shut up! I'm pissed because of how drained i am now. And plus, you're the lord of the Demon Country. Right? Shouldn't you be doing some paper work?", Kazuma replied "Yeah, I left a clone to do all the work. And plus, there isn't much to do at the desk. It's been peaceful for a while in there, most demon soldiers would like to take their time to wait and train for any dangerous missions.". Diablo took a sigh and looked up into the blue sky "Whatever.", he said. Kazuma and Diablo were quite for a few moments before Diablo spoke "Hey, Kazuma sensei....", Kazuma responded "What is it, Diablo.". Diablo explained "Yesterday, I created an ability that let me look into the past of anyone I want. In the process, I looked into your past. How you went on crazy missions, including the war missions.", Kazuma scoffed with a soft smile "You did, huh.". Diablo continued "I saw what you and the rest of your friends have gone through. At some point, I kinda felt bad for you. Makes me think my set's having it easy.". Kazuma scoffed once again "No set ever has it easy. Don't forget, you and your friends have gone on crazy missions yourselves. It's even terrifying when you realise you started a year earlier than you were supposed to. You're having it pretty hard too, Diablo boy.". Kazuma looked forward "No matter the era, there's always going to be problems. Even when peace comes, people are going to use that time to quietly work on themselves. That's how it works.", he looked at Diablo "Hey, Diablo....". Diablo looked at his teacher, no, his brother figure "Yeah? What is it?", Kazuma said to him "As you know, Mio's carrying my baby. I don't know what kind of things this world has in store for him, neither do I know if I'm even gonna survive long enough to watch that kid grow. But, I'll tell you this.", Diablo blinked in confusion. Kazuma looked at him with a smile "I want you to watch over Alex. Got it?", Diablo's face slowly lit up before smiling "Sure, I will. I'll make sure he's stronger than anyone and everyone, Including you.", Kazuma laughed "HAHAHAHA! Yeah, that's what I'm talking about. Cant wait to see that.". He stood up and waved to Diablo "I'll see you later, okay?", Diablo smiled softly at him "Yeah, see you later.". Kazuma walked off while Diablo looked at him from the distance. In current time, Diablo(32 years old) was sitted on his couch, Veldora sleeping on his arm "Kazuma sensei. I ended up being his teacher like you asked. I've encouraged him and given him the necessary training he needs. Even now that he's strong enough to stand on his own, I still look after him every once in a while.", Diablo smiled softly "I'll make sure Alex continues to gain more and more power, no matter what!". Meanwhile, in the wastelands filled with smoke due to the explosion of their attacks, Alex walked out of the dust. His right arm slowly regenerating from its burn wounds, while his left arm was still steaming. Alex looked around while slowly waving his right arm "Damn it, I went overboard. Should have calmed down a bit. Now I can't see properly.". He looked around, the smoke was starting to clear off "Ahhhh!", he heard a dry groan "Hm?", Alex walked forward. The smoke finally cleared, Medusayuki was layed on the floor, the bottom half of her body burnt while the top half was filled with scratches and wounds "Tch! Looks like I won the beam clash.", Alex said to himself, amusement in his tone. Medusayuki was tired and defeated "You! How dare.... you!", she coughed. She continued to dryly speak "You invaded my land, killed my snakes, and now you've killed me! You'll pay for this!". Alex didn't seem to care much, he had a straight look on his face while looking down on her with his hands in his pockets "Sorry, but you're the one who attacked first. I don't know how I ended up here, but when I did, you came up to me for an attack. You should have clarified if I was a threat to you or not. But I guess that doesn't matter now.". Medusayuki squeezed out a few more words out of herself "You damned monster. I wish I could just kill you now. Fucking demon!", her last words squeeze out her throat, Medusayuki had just died. Alex blinked, he noticed that she wasn't talking anymore. He started to scratch his head while looking a little guilty "Guess its my fault!". He started to walk forward "Where the hell am I? And what was that notification thing i just saw? What am i in, a leveling game?", he asked himself. Alex paused for a moment "Hey, Shenragon. Can you help me out here?", no response. Alex seemed confused "Shenragon! Shenragon?", Alex immediately grew pale "OH NO! WHY'S HE NOT RESPONDING? WHAT IS ACTUALLY HAPPENED...?!". A notification appeared in front of him "SHUT THE HELL UP, BRAT! DON'T GET ANY FUNNY IDEADS!", it's seemed like it was yelling at Alex with its words in capital letter. Alex looked confused again "Brat? Wait, Shenragon?!", the notification appeared again "Yeah, it's me. Right now i can't operate as your inner demon for now. But, I can act as a system for you.". Alex seemed annoyed "What the hell is going on In here? And why did I suddenly wake up in the middle of nowhere?!". The system replied "I can't tell you that, even tho I know the answer.", Alex yelled "WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN YOU CANT TELL ME THAT?! I CLOSED MY EYES TO TAKE A NAP, AND THE NEXT THING I KNOW IT, IM IN ANOTHER DIMENSION!". Alex pointed to the sky "LOOK! THE SUN'S RED! THE SUN'S NEVER THIS RED!", Shenragon thought to himself with a look of disinterest "That sun is a thousand times bigger and stronger than the one from earth you know.", he thought. Alex just sighed "Whatever. I don't know what's going on, so I'll just assume I got chained into a stupid turn of events. As if I didn't fight a psychotic dragon king and a cosmic monster a few months ago, I'm in a place I know nothing about.". He looked up into the bright red sky "Whatever. I wonder how the rest are doing. Kinto's probably having the fun of a life time as we speak. Kazuki's probably busy as well. Guess I'll deal with this myself.". Alex continued to walk forward into the wastelands.
