It's the dawn of a new day, Yuhan was sleeping comfortably in his bed, but that peace and quiet wouldn't remain for long, as the shouts of a very energetic duo echoed in the hallways.
It was Asta and Magna, running in the corridors, as veteran on the squad, Magna had took it upon himself to show Asta every single corner of the base to Asta, earlier that day, he had knocked on Yuhan's door to join them, but was met with a slam of the door to his face.
After waking up and washing himself, the boy took the squad's robe and dressed it, replacing his black jacket, his grimoire strapped to one of his side belts, dark jeans and a plain blue T-shirt.
Down the stairs and finally reaching the cafeteriamain hall, he was greeted by the sight of his butler serving the table, while the sheep chefs cooked the dishes in the kitchen, with a satisfied expression his butler carried a silver tray, delivering meals to the squad members.
Sitting down at the table, even before his food arrived, Asta was already shouting at a silver haired girl trying to enjoy her breakfast.
— And you too Yuhan! Why don't help with cleaning too?! Aren't the three of us newbies?
Even though the boy's loud voice made Yuhan roll his eyes, he still managed to turn to the girl and introduce himself.
— You're also a new member, pleased to meet you, I'm Yuhan, from Hage village.
Putting down her fork gently, she patted her mouth with a napkin before introducing herself with a air of superiority.
— I'm Noellle, Noelle Silva, from the royal family, and Asta, I'm Royalty, I've never cleaned or done laundry in my life.
Her tome was dismissive of Asta's complains, everyone else just went about their breakfast as usual, Vanessa drank her wine casually, dressed with only her underwear and the squad's robe, Charmy muched on a big piece of boar meat, Finral and Gordon were talking relaxed, although only one side of the conversation could be heard.
As usual with this bunch, it didn't take long before they started to fight, Magna took Asta by the collar and slammed him against the wall, while the boy screamed he will be the Wizard King someday.
Yuhan had his breakfast while trying to ignore everything, the eggs and bacon he ordered were delicious, he already had plans for the day. A creak of the door was heard as Captain Yami called for Magna with a serious expression.
The room was silent for a while, but the cheerful atitude came back with the members wishing them luck. After breakfast Yuhan left the base, going to the forest outside, clear skies, the birds were singing, warm summer sun, it was a perfect weather for a nap in the woods.
— This place should be good enough, Draw!
Five cards flew out of his grimoire and appeared in his hand.

From white particles, a small yellow appeared, wearing a tuxedo, a red star on it's belly, it flew closer to Yuhan, looking at the creature, it was just like a living bird, if you ignore it's appearance.

Just like a normal parrot, it mimic some type of speech, but was smart enough to understand him.
— Do you want to live in this forest, or stay in the grimoire?
Another cry followed by some words.
— Live in forest- live in forest!
Yuhan had guessed as much, opening up the map function in his grimoire, he found a small marker with the butler's face at the Black bulls base, and right beside him a marker with the yellow parrot.
I've got everything wrong, I was treating my powers like duel based power, but putting in game terms, it's more of a tactic rpg .
He could summon monster by spending mana, there was no limit to the number summoned monster, as long as each were positioned on different spaces, stationed monsters acted like troops, he could command them using the interface.

On the commander panel, he could place orders to move his monsters on the map, change tactics to offensive, defensive, support or retreat. Equipment showed eight spaces around the monster, the fours corner spaces were green colored with the spell card icon on it, the others were burgandy colored with the trap card icon on it.
The cooldown for drawing a card and summoning a new monster was about 90 seconds, with every new summoned monster, Yuhan tried talking to it, most of them seemed to understand, but some couldn't talk to him, but after some time, he could more or less come to an understanding with them.
While some monsters wanted to stay in his grimoire, some of them had other plans. Yuhan's Basic insect decided to live in the forest, the boy could still see more or less his location, making a nest somewhere near a clearing at the forest.
Meda bat, a small one-eyed creature with bat wings and small claws, decided to live in the upper towers of the base, near the abandoned rooms, that place was dark and dirty, but from what Yuhan understood, the fields inside his grimoire were too bright for the creature to rest comfortably.
To the boy's surprise, Dark Gray, a small ashen colored goat with small bat wings decided to live in the deeper parts of the forest, where the sunlight didn't reach, a cold and humid place.
At the hearth of the Black Bulls base, right at main hall beside the bar, a new fire brimmed to life, with a smile on his face looking at the chaos caused by the black bulls, Hinotama Soul decided to make the place it's new home.
— I'm gonna let this guy live here, if it's ok with everyone.
Vanessa suddenly leaned closer to him, still only wearing her red underwear with the black robes over her shoulders.
— And who's the little guy here?
She said looking at the flaming face looking at her.
— That's Tama, a campfire spirit, you can feed him just about anything, and he can control how hot his flames are, so in the summer he can lit up the place without making it hotter.
Yuhan said picking up a plate with some leftover foods and toosed it into the fire, the falimg ball suddenly opened up it's mouth and gulped it down at once.
— What a little cutie, I'll feed you a lot~
Vanessa said jokingly and gave a little wink. At this time, the figures of Captain Yami and Magna came through the front door, dressed with... well, nothing. Completely naked, both of them walked inside and shot a look at Yuhan.

The boy was confused, but sat at the bar with a warm drink in his hands, unfortunately he couldn't order anything with alcohol, but some warm coffee was fine. Soon enough Captain Yami, acompannied by Asta, Noelle and Magna came down the stairs.
While sitting in the sofa, smoking as usual, Yami looked at them while Magna explanied the reason they were called there.
