"The natural environment will improve. Daily life will become more convenient. Technology will advance. Even the current global balance may shift."

Ren calmly listed the advantages he had just explained.

Then he looked at Ruan Jianrong.

"So, Secretary Ruan?"

Ruan Jianrong remained silent for a moment before speaking.

"Perhaps what you say is true. But the appearance of Pokémon will also create new crimes. No one understands their power better than you."

"And you can't guarantee the safety of civilians in the wild."

Ren nodded slightly.

"Everything has two sides. If something only brings benefits without risk, that would be unrealistic."

"I said the advantages outweigh the disadvantages — not that there are no disadvantages."

He continued evenly:

"We've already sold more than a dozen Pokémon. Have any of those buyers misused their power?"

"No."

"If someone loses control because they suddenly gain strength, that only proves they were unstable to begin with."

"The earlier such risks are exposed, the earlier they can be dealt with."

Ruan Jianrong did not immediately refute that.

"As for wild safety," Ren added, "most Pokémon have stable temperaments. Unless deliberately provoked, they rarely attack humans seriously. In most cases, it's just a warning."

"If they were inherently violent, would children in my world be allowed to travel with them?"

The logic was simple.

Ruan Jianrong rubbed his temples.

"I need to report this upward. This is not a decision I can make alone."

"Of course," Ren replied calmly. "But I hope it won't take long."

"It won't."

Ruan Jianrong stood up and left the study.

The moment the door closed, Ren leaned back slightly.

It was essentially settled.

The benefits were too great.

No country would ignore them.

---

A few minutes later, Lucas pushed open the study door.

"How did it go?"

"Smoothly," Ren smiled.

Lucas's eyes brightened.

"So we'll get official support?"

"If nothing unexpected happens," Ren replied, "Pokémon tournaments may appear sooner than you think."

Lucas grinned.

"That would be incredible."

Then he hesitated.

"Boss… if Pokémon appear in the wild in large numbers, won't that affect your business?"

"People could just catch them themselves."

Ren chuckled.

"My shop was never meant for the mass market."

"The pricing already filters customers."

He continued:

"There's also something I've told you before — individual Pokémon have differences in talent."

"Talent determines growth speed, potential ceiling, and future strength."

"The Pokémon from my shop are guaranteed to have outstanding talent."

"Wild Pokémon?"

He spread his hands.

"No guarantees."

Lucas understood instantly.

Top trainers would always seek the best.

A guaranteed high-talent Pokémon was priceless.

And while ordinary people might catch Pokémon themselves—

Those with resources would still prefer certainty.

Ren's shop wasn't threatened.

If anything—

It would become more valuable after full popularization.

Three hours later, Ruan Jianrong finally returned.

He looked tired, but decisive.

"We are willing to cooperate."

Ren stood and extended his hand.

"A wise decision."

They shook hands.

"But we have conditions," Ruan Jianrong added seriously.

"Please."

"First. Technologies such as the Poké Ball and spatial storage devices must be shared exclusively with Daxia. In return, we request only a two-percent share."

"No problem," Ren agreed without hesitation. "I need a regional partner anyway."

"Second. We require detailed training knowledge."

"If Pokémon become widespread, malicious individuals are inevitable."

"We must build official trainer units capable of maintaining order."

Ren nodded.

"That's reasonable. I'll provide a structured Pokémon training system for your forces."

It would mirror how law enforcement functioned in his original world.

Balanced.

Stable.

Ruan Jianrong visibly relaxed.

"Then we have an agreement."

"Actually," Ren added with a smile, "I also have a small request."

"Go ahead."

"I have a large number of special fruit trees."

"They serve as Pokémon food, raw materials for energy products, and certain equipment components."

"They're also edible for humans and nutritionally beneficial."

"I'd like authorization to plant them throughout the Magic City wild zones."

Ruan Jianrong considered briefly.

"That's beneficial. We'll support it and share half the cost."

Lucas looked slightly confused.

But Ruan Jianrong asked carefully:

"How large is 'throughout'?"

Ren smiled calmly.

"I plan to cover all wild areas of Magic City."

Silence.

Ruan Jianrong blinked.

"All?"

"Yes."

"With sufficient manpower, it will only take a few days."

Once planted—

The system would activate.

Wild Pokémon would begin descending in a controlled manner.

Ruan Jianrong slowly exhaled.

The scale of what they had just agreed to—

Was far beyond ordinary policy.

But the decision had been made.

The world was about to change.
