Chapter 60 - Deep Slumber

Then she began to walk toward the angels deliberately. The piano played as she walked even though there was no one playing it because the butterflies themselves were moving and had constructed it.

With her every step, white butterflies were getting summoned by her movements.

"Let the world sleep." As those words left White Spirit's tongue, the piano began to release waves with every sound. The sound echoed, calming.

The waves didn't hurt anyone but all the angels who were summoned fell down into a deep slumber. Then their bodies burst. They died without ever feeling the pain of dying.

As the angels whom Kashime and Flint and Akarum were battling fell and burst, they all turned in every direction trying to find the cause of it.

"I sense two Divine Weapons' owners. Even Divines themselves can't use them unless the weapon accepts them as owner and here there are two people being the owners."

Then she turned toward the piano. The piano broke into butterflies as if White Spirit's gaze said something that didn't need language.

She turned toward the Secondary Heaven's direction even though it was too far for her to see. Even though her eyes were closed, her senses were enough to tell the vision which eyes can't.

"I see. Liyoku has reached the second phase of World Ruler."

"I did as Fate had told me. Should I help them more?" She stopped. As she did, the butterflies around her disappeared.

Then a portal opened, delivering a letter from Fate.

More threats are coming.

- Fate

White Spirit patted her palm on the letter. As she did, white butterflies released. Even though she couldn't see, upon the action she understood what was written and then she dropped the letter. Another portal opened and swallowed the letter.

"I will just stay here." She lifted her right arm forward and then lowered it. White butterflies emerged, merging with each other and then formed a piano and a seat. She moved toward the seat. Her every step was releasing white butterflies yet it didn't bother her. She was used to this.

Then she settled onto the comfortable fabric.

"I admire humans creativity in pulses."

Her fingers ran on the white and black keys, slow and perfect. The sound was soothing yet in Secondary Heaven the hunt kept going, but the dump of that area contained so many half teased breads, strangely.

"It's no use," Shishuki said. "We can't defeat it."

Liyoku stopped. The cosmic sphere was moving alongside him. The hairs pierced through his stomach. For a second he was completely normal, expecting to be healed but he wasn't. Then blood poured out of his stomach while Shishuki and Akutomi were busy dodging the hairs which followed them.

"I am not regenerating. The revive erased it."

As another hair was about to pierce through his forehead,

There's no option.

He lifted his palm and a crushing pressure hit the angel, leaving nothing but its blood.

But Shishuki, Akutomi and Liyoku weren't relieved about it because then the blood began to take shape. Not one angel but multiple angels were forged by the blood itself.

"Shishuki go to Heaven, check that area. I and Akutomi will take care of this thing." Liyoku commanded, while his palm was placed on his stomach healing himself.

Shishuki immediately moved toward the region Heaven upon Liyoku's command.

"I will cut it. Akutomi make sure the blood doesn't fall on the ground." Liyoku straightened his palms. He no longer needed a sword. He was far stronger than before. His palms sliced through all their heads. Akutomi was still standing there. He hadn't even been able to realise that Liyoku had slashed all the angels' heads.

Liyoku landed back on his place.

"Why didn't you freeze them?" Liyoku's voice sharpened.

"You shouldn't strike too fast. I couldn't see." Akutomi complained as the blood of the angels fell. More of them forged through the blood. They were now six. All of their hairs were chasing Akutomi and Liyoku. They both ran. Liyoku was somewhat scared because now he had lost regeneration and he could die if not careful. The already broken houses there were crushed by the hairs' sharpness. The roof on the house in which Unknown was broke. The material was falling down.

"Aah why does everyone want to take you away from me?" Unknown lifted Zaraisha's body, moving away from the area.

The difficulty had increased for Akutomi and Liyoku. Even a tiny wound on any of those angels was releasing blood and if it fell on the ground the verdict was more of them being forged.

Akutomi stopped on a house's roof. A hair aimed for his head. He lowered himself and then threw the ice spikes at them but their bodies were too hot. The ice melted immediately.

White Spirit who was still playing the piano, lost in her performance, her breathing slow, her fingers moved with perfection.

"They are in trouble." She noted and the piano began to release waves once again. Now their range was too far. As they reached Secondary Heaven, Liyoku, Akutomi, Kaita and including the angels fell into a deep slumber. The angels' massive bodies shook the ground as they fell, dust covering everything.

Then a portal opened above the piano. White Spirit's fingers paused. She took the letter that fell from it.

And then rubbed her palm on it. White butterflies released upon her action.

Move to another world.

- Fate

"No more threats?" White Spirit muttered in confusion. "But earlier Fate had told me more threats are coming."

A pause.

"Did Fate just bait me to save World Ruler?" White Spirit exhaled before standing from the seat. At her action the seat and piano turned back into white butterflies, dissolving into the thin air. Her hands were resting on her lap and then a portal erupted below her and she fell into it.

Every single person on Earth was in deep slumber. No one was awake to register the chaos and then few one-eyed angels appeared, entering people's eyes. Near Kashime, Flint and Akarum who were sleeping in the courtyard of Heavenly Kaatoumo, Asami was inside, lost in the dream world and then the eye angel appeared in her room and slowly moved near her, entering inside her mind. As it happened Asami's eyes opened and in the courtyard Akarum's too. Now the one-eyed angel had entered inside them, pushing to take control over them and send them to Heaven or Hell.
