Chapter 23 - Chapter 23: Accountant Egon!

"Huh? A new accountant? Did something happen to Barbara?"

"Who knows? But this guy… ugh, just look at him. So ugly! Where did she pick him up from?"

"Hehe... Probably from another slave market. I heard she's a shameless woman who clings to any man she sees. What a whore!"

"Do you think she'd give me a chance if I asked? I just want her for one night..."

The men whispered quietly from lips to ear, their expressions betraying none of the disgusting thoughts they harbored inside.

As such, Vienna remained oblivious to the true faces of her employees.

But Egon knew.

They needed to be removed.

No one had the right to eye his woman now that he had decided to accept her. Certainly not those, who held impure motives toward her.

The sooner they were cast out, the better.

There were also murmurs of surprise among the female staffs, some gasps, and even a few skeptical glances.

After all, they had never seen this young man before. And based on his appearance, it was hard for many to imagine how someone like him had suddenly risen to such a position of trust.

Vienna raised her hand, silencing the noise.

"I know some of you may be wondering about his background. You don't need to. I trust him. That's all that matters. If anyone has questions or doubts, feel free to come speak to me directly."

Her words were firm but not harsh, but authoritative and reassuring. She was staking her own credibility on him.

After hearing her announcement, some of the employees carefully shut their mouths, while others welcomed Egon with fake politeness.

Egon simply gave them a quiet nod, not looking too enthusiastic.

After all, some of them would be removed from the shop very soon.

"Alright, Egon. Let me show you your office," Vienna said with a bright smile, boldly pulling him by the hand.

The staff were so awestruck that some bit their tongues in disbelief.

Just what was it about that ugly guy that earned him such gentleness and care from her, something they had never received?

Grumbling to themselves, they returned to their stations and resumed attending to the customers.

Meanwhile, Egon was taken to a small room, warmly lit by an enchanted lamp. Since they lived in a world of Soul Evolvers, it was only natural for magic-based technology to exist—though it was still in its early stages.

Inside the room was a cushioned wooden chair and a sturdy table stacked with papers. A nearby bookshelf was filled with various books and old financial records.

"Go sit there, Egon. You'll look really charming when you work seriously," Vienna said with a giggle.

"You seriously think so?" Egon replied, amused, but he sat down as she wished.

He flipped through a stack of papers, finding only mundane records of the shop's sales and expenses.

He glanced over the first page seriously but found no evidence of corruption. Not yet.

Barbara obviously wouldn't make rookie mistakes. She must have hidden the proof somewhere else.

Vienna watched him work with a sweet smile.

"Darling, I'll be just in the next room. Once you're done, come to my room. Alone!"

She threw a seductive wink before heading out, swaying her full hips with deliberate grace.

Egon got hard from her invitation, but for now, he focused on the task at hand.

Vienna's business meant his business too. He would use this place as his base, gathering the resources he needed to grow stronger, just like the Protagonist had done in the novel.

As for reading and writing, surprisingly, he had the basics down.

Maybe this disposable extra named Egon had a background he wasn't aware of. Maybe he wasn't born just to be a Sword Slave.

He had no definite answers, so there was no point in overthinking it.

After just thirty minutes, he finished reviewing the past three days' financial reports.

And after meticulously scanning through the room, he found signs of fund mismanagement.

So, with the papers in hand, he went to Vienna's office.

Creak!

Without knocking, he entered.

Inside, he froze for a moment upon seeing her.

Vienna sat at her desk, glasses perched on her nose, the soft glow of enchanted lamps casting a warm hue across the room. She looked up the moment Egon entered without knocking, a flicker of surprise in her eyes replaced quickly by a teasing smile.

"You're done with them so fast? Or are you here to misbehave like a naughty child?" she asked, smiling.

Egon grinned, stepping closer, admiring her beauty from up close.

"I've found something, Vienna."

As he said this, he activated Serenity's Touch and gently placed his hand on her shoulder.

Manipulation shouldn't be stopped anytime soon. He needed her under full control. The is no need for hesitation in such regard.

She let out a comfortable groan before asking, "What is it?"

Egon let out an evil smirk and started sliding both of his palms toward her big breasts.

"Some employees need to be fired. They stole your money and goods. The last 3 months' accounts don't match up."

All while informing her, he enjoyed the softness of her breasts as he rubbed on top of her thin bra. Despite being tied with the bra, they jiggled and bounced with each rubbing.

Boink, boink.

"Aghh…"

Vienna moaned. But her eyes turned sharp hearing his words.

"They dared to betray me? Very well, you just tell me their names, darling. I will fire them right away..."

Egon grinned. "Yes, their list is there." He said, pointing toward the table.

His hand then, finally, slowly went under the bra.

"Ooh.."

As soon as he made contact with those soft melons, he was euphoric. So soft, so big. He could never get bored of them.

His palm couldn't even contain one of those massive jugs in one hand. They were that big in size.

He began groping them, pinching those cherry nipples, and breathed her scent from close by, making an intoxicated face.

Vienna was now his love slave, and he could do what he wanted with her.

But to graduate from virginity, he would need to make her more madly in love. And Serenity's Touch was doing its job to do just that.
