The sun sat down slowly, casting its warm glow as Kairos still thinking about that.
Kairos let out another deep sigh. Taking out his pocket watch.
"It's almost time," he uttered. It was almost 6. The time scheduled for him to meet the guide.
In the last few hours, Kairos wandered around the academy, trying to calm himself. Wasting time wouldn't help, whatever that was, he would have to face it sooner or later.
And all truth lies within the 20th floor. He had to reach it as fast as he could and had to prepare thoroughly.
The being invited him on its own. But it didn't mean it was friendly to him. What if he has to fight it?
For that he has to prepare. Prepare thoroughly and get stronger. Just where he was heading now.
