Some where in the Ancient Star Hall,
In a dim room, on the ceiling there are many stars and below them a platform. On the platform sat an old man with an ancient aura revolving around him.
He was meditating when he opened his eyes and said in a faint voice,
"Your excellency, since you are already here, why hide?"
A spatial rift appeared near him and a very beautiful woman emerged from it. She is Bai Liyue.
She was somewhat surprised because a half-king realm sensing an Emperor Throne realm expert is not possible.
So she asked curiously, "How did you find out that I am here?"
The old man looked at the beautiful face and he was shocked by looking at her appearance but then this shock was replaced by horror when he saw a Throne mark on her forehead.
He said hurriedly,
"This old man greets the Emperor."
Bai Liyue nodded and asked the same question to which the old man responded,
"This entire Ancient Star Hall is covered in a formation by our ancestor and this platform is the key. These formation nodes are in the space itself and through this I can sense any movements in our Hall."
Bai Liyue was surprised and asked,
"It seems that your ancestor was not a king avatar realm expert and his formation attainment was really something."
The old man responded,
"Our ancestor was at the peak of the Emperor Throne realm and by chance he obtained something which allowed him to take the next step but he was ambushed by someone. He was at the half-Supreme Mahayana realm at that time and he fought with that person he wanted to protect us from that attacker so he used his life and created a formation and this is the same formation."
"But this old man doesn't know anything besides that because these are the records left behind."
This time Bai Liyue was very surprised when she heard all this. Then she heard the old man speak,
"May I ask why the Emperor came to this barren continent?"
Bai Liyue slapped her head lightly and said in a serious tone,

The old man listened and he asked respectfully,

Saying this she left.
After she left, the old man breathed a sigh of relief. He thought, 'this time we got a monster in our sect and this might be our opportunity. Since the Emperor allowed us. It means that they really don't care how we treat him as long as we don't cross the line.'
He muttered, "Now I also want to see that kid who has such a terrifying background."

"Your mother couldn't protect you, she couldn't stand for you, she is powerless."
"She is so powerless that her own son died and she didn't know, her son faced so many dangers and she didn't do anything."
At the end of her voice her sobbing became louder and her tears slipped on Bai Yue's cheeks.
"Your mother..."
"Is a very powerful woman who dared to self-destruct to protect her child without hesitation." A sobbing voice interrupted her. Bai Liyue stiffened for a moment and her tears fell again.
Bai Yue continued, "A mother who is powerful enough to accept the fact his son died once and came back to life."
"A mother who is powerful who is powerful enough to become her son's support when he needs support the most."
After saying this he hugged her tightly and he sobbed.
Both mother-son pair cried for some time and Bai Liyue finally felt light and she said with a smile,
"Mother is going to spend a few days with you until you enroll in the sect. And I have talked with them and they would take good care of you."
Bai Yue felt something was off but he didn't delve into this matter.
