Kyoshi woke up and rubbed his eyes. He pushed his legs out of bed.
"Today… school," he muttered.
He moved to the bathroom, water streaming down his face, when a memory from yesterday surfaced in his mind.
A girl sitting beside him.
"We make one wish that becomes true. Do you want that ability too?" she had said, teasing his curiosity.
He walked toward the school, her words replaying in his head. He shook it off, trying to push them away.
He reached the school, his eyes scanning everything.
But he didn't find her.
The tutor was teaching, but Kyoshi was lost in thought, not focusing on the lecture.
How is that possible? Weird. Augustin… she always leaves mysteries,he thought, slightly annoyed, as he looked out the window.
Far from Earth, beyond the moon, Augustin sat atop a silver surface.
"I can still see him," she said happily.
A man was trapped inside the barrier. Her eyes landed on him, and a fragment of memory swallowed her.
"I will rule the world with my ability! Hahaha!" he had said proudly.
"Really?" she challenged him.
"Dream World," he said, just as Augustin stepped forward and slashed his throat.
She blinked.
"I don't know whether Dream World activated first or my slash came first."Her teeth clenched.
"I can't solve it. It will linger…" She pressed a hand to her forehead in irritation.
