When they stepped into their unit and closed the door, Daisy immediately turned to look at Dennis. She looked furious, but not at him.
"What is up with that guy? He's one of those Red Wind kids who are supposedly our rivals, right? I don't like them—I don't like people like that at all!" Daisy shouted in a rage.
After that, Daisy kept grumbling and ranting without a pause. Her words were like a machine gun, firing in rapid, overlapping bursts. Naturally, Dennis just stayed quiet and didn't try to calm his wife down. He simply listened and let her pour out everything in her heart until she was finished, so there would be no lingering resentment later on. He was also feeling irritated by the behavior of Sean and his friends from Red Wind, who acted so arrogant, as if the world belonged to them just because they existed in it.
A few moments later, once Daisy had satisfied herself to the point of huffing and puffing and breaking a light sweat, Dennis put his arm around her.
