Chapter 126 - Chapter 125: Battle on the Moon

"I never imagined there would be such a space inside the moon... Come to think of it, hasn't the race living here been watching Earth from the sky all this time?"

Walking through the dimension inside the moon, Pakura looked around curiously and said. In her heart, she felt that rather than watching Earth, the life on the moon was more like monitoring it from a high vantage point; otherwise, why would there be no interaction between the two sides?

Vegapunk shrugged. "That's pretty much it. The Ōtsutsuki on the moon are actually very similar to the Uchiha of Konoha; they both have some... mental issues. Some of them even want to destroy all of humanity!"

"Destroy humanity..." Pakura gave a bitter smile. "Aren't there just too many disasters capable of destroying humanity?"

After coming into contact with Vegapunk's laboratory, Pakura truly didn't think destroying humanity was such a difficult task. Among Vegapunk's inventions alone, more than one or two could do it. Moreover, Pakura now knew about the Infinite Tsukuyomi Plan and even had some understanding of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, so it was no wonder she lamented how disaster-prone her world was.

However, before Pakura could lament for long, a large number of silhouettes flew over from the horizon. Seeing this, Pakura quickly calmed down. "Are those the humans from the moon? They've discovered us!"

"They aren't human; they seem to be just puppets," Nico Robin said, her brow furrowing slightly. Eyes sprouted from the distant flowers, allowing her to see more clearly.

However, Vegapunk and Hancock naturally already knew; their Observation Haki was not to be underestimated.

Vegapunk himself had a massive mental energy bonus for his Observation Haki, which was further strengthened after he gained electromagnetic abilities. As for Hancock, she had absorbed most of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's power, and her strength had long since surpassed the limits.

It could be said that almost as soon as they entered this unknown space, their Observation Haki had scanned the entire area.

"Leave them to me!" Hearing they were puppets, Pakura immediately became interested. The Hidden Sand Village was famous for its puppets, so as the Fifth Kazekage, she naturally had some interest.

Hancock disdained dealing with scrap metal, and Vegapunk and Nico Robin were not bellicose people, so no one contested her.

Reaching out, a streak of intense light swept across, wiping out a swathe of the puppets. Similarly, those puppets fired many Chakra energy bullets, all of which the group dodged.

"Light Release doesn't seem to work very well against these puppets," Pakura observed her results and decisively changed tactics. The radiation ability of Light Release was only effective against organic life forms; against these puppets, it only provided pure high-temperature damage.

However, Pakura wasn't limited to just this one Kekkei Tota. She was even more proficient in her Scorch Release. A ball of light condensed in her hand, which she then compressed using magnetic fields. Finally, an apple-sized orb of light flew into the air and instantly erupted with sun-like brilliance. With a loud boom, it blew away a large portion of the puppet swarm in the sky.

In terms of pure destructive power and range, the combination of two Bloodline Limits was stronger; whereas the Light Release Bloodline Removal focused more on biological lethality.

Seeing that this move was effective, Pakura continued to condense orbs of light. Within moments, only a dozen or so puppets remained in the sky. She personally captured the rest and sealed them away.

"It seems the humans here aren't very welcoming," Nico Robin said, shaking her head as she looked at the recent battlefield.

Vegapunk didn't care. "We weren't exactly guests to begin with! It's only right that they're on guard against us."

That was true. Although the other side had immediately sent a large number of puppets armed with knives and swords, they themselves hadn't hesitated to strike first and attack the swarm. It was hard to say which side was more ill-intentioned.

At this point, Pakura, having finished sealing some of the core components and intact puppets, walked back. "My Lord, where should we go next?"

"Follow me. I'll take you to the core of the moon."

Vegapunk waved his hand and activated his magnetic field ability. The group immediately began to hover in the air.

Current Propulsion wasn't something he had let the Fourth Raikage learn for nothing; at the very least, the version Vegapunk himself studied was far superior to that of his test subject, the Raikage.

Forming a shield with electromagnetic energy, the group flew rapidly toward the center.

At the center of the lunar dimension stood a castle. Inside, a pale and rather weak-looking middle-aged man sat watching a mirror.

His eyes were a milky white, yet they shimmered with a faint light. This was the Bloodline Limit famous throughout the Ninja World—the Byakugan.

"Cough, cough... Have the Ninjas of the Ninja World finally found their way here? I thought that by knocking down that object flying in the sky, I could buy more time..."

"Dammit! Of all times... No, I must do something..."

"Father, have enemies arrived?"

Just then, a youthful voice came from behind the middle-aged man. He quickly turned to see a three or four-year-old boy whose eye sockets were empty.

"Ōtsutsuki Toneri, what are you doing here? Don't worry, everything is fine!"

The middle-aged man spoke to comfort him, but the child named Ōtsutsuki Toneri was clearly not entirely reassured. Although he couldn't see, he wasn't deaf and had naturally heard the sounds of the explosions.

Even if those could be considered accidents, the powerful Chakra fluctuations outside were no lie. Although the boy was only three or four years old, he already possessed an innate Mind's Eye and Chakra-sensing ability. The battle outside certainly couldn't be hidden from him.

But what could he do even if he knew? The young boy fell silent for a moment before finally saying, "I understand, Father... please be careful!"

The middle-aged man's body trembled slightly, and a look of resolve appeared on his face. "Don't worry, Ōtsutsuki Toneri! And... do not forget our clan's mission!"

Having uttered these words that sounded almost like a final testament, the middle-aged man made up his mind and walked slowly toward the castle gates. Meanwhile, the white light in his eyes grew brighter and brighter, gradually turning golden.

At the same time, however, his face grew even paler, taking on a faint deathly gray hue. The Chakra in his body continued to boil, and bloody tears streamed from the corners of his eyes.

When Vegapunk's group arrived at the castle gates, they saw a white-haired Ninja with golden eyes and immensely powerful Chakra.

"This Chakra..." Pakura's face turned slightly pale. Even after being strengthened by Vegapunk and learning Light Release, and considering herself among the top tier in the Ninja World, she felt that the intensity of the Chakra before her was off the charts.

On the other hand, Hancock, standing beside Vegapunk, showed some interest. "Quite an impressive Chakra intensity. It seems to have reached the standard for absorption."

Having gradually acquired all of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's abilities, Hancock now also possessed the power to absorb Chakra. However, ordinary Chakra was substandard in both quality and quantity; unless she absorbed it on a large scale, it was almost useless to her.

But the Ninja with golden eyes before her had a truly remarkable amount and quality of Chakra, even vaguely approaching the Six Paths Level. This made her perk up, wanting to warm up and absorb some Chakra along the way.

"Strange, why are that guy's eyes golden?" Vegapunk muttered, finding it a bit odd.

He might not remember other things clearly, but he remembered the appearance of the Tenseigan very well. After all, it was arguably the coolest-looking pair of eyes in the Naruto World. In terms of aesthetics alone, it was far superior to the Sharingan, Rinnegan, or Byakugan.

The Tenseigan, originally deep and mysterious with a sky-blue hue and six-pointed white rays, had now turned golden, which naturally made him feel something was wrong.

"Invaders, this shall be your burial ground!" The golden-eyed Ninja didn't waste words; as he spoke, he immediately attacked, firing a golden orb of light from his hand.

He now felt as if his entire body was about to burst, every cell in him seemed to be wailing, and his life force was draining away rapidly. He might turn into a pool of blood or a pile of bones at any moment, so he naturally didn't want to delay.

Hancock smiled and stepped forward, extending a delicate, fair hand. Then, pitch-black Armament Haki mixed with another black current, forming a wall-like barrier in front of her.

With a thunderous boom, the entire dimension inside the moon began to shake. Terrifying energy completely tore through the Earth. In the direction of Vegapunk and the others, billowing dust rose from the ground all the way to the edge of the space.

"Cough, cough... How foolish. A Truth-Seeking Orb in Tenseigan Chakra Mode is not so easily blocked... What?! How is this possible?"

As the smoke cleared, the Truth-Seeking Orb had left a massive fan-shaped crater in the ground. However, at the very front of the crater, there was still a small, semicircular patch of perfectly intact Earth.

Hancock, standing at the very front, leisurely extended one hand, her entire body completely unsullied. Her face showed not the slightest hint of strain. Even Vegapunk and the others were well-protected by the wall she had created by mixing Haki with the Truth-Seeking Orb.

"Hmm!? I see. I thought something felt off. This power isn't yours at all!"

"Not only can you not control the power, but you're actually being harmed by it, and even your life force is being drained?! Yet even so, for an insect like you to think you could hurt me is pure delusion!"

Hancock glanced at the golden-eyed Ōtsutsuki before her. Having just unleashed a massive attack, and combined with the shock Hancock gave him, the Ōtsutsuki momentarily lost control and spat out blood. When he looked up, the wrinkles on his face had multiplied. Hancock instantly saw through the problem.

"You... cough, cough, cough." Hearing Hancock's words, the Ōtsutsuki looked up to say something, but another mouthful of blood sprayed out as soon as he opened his mouth. Once Hancock realized it wasn't his own Chakra, she lost interest in him and casually pointed a finger.

A pale pink beam of light shot out instantly. Feeling the weak Chakra within the pink beam, the golden-eyed Ōtsutsuki was momentarily stunned. Who could such a weak Chakra possibly hurt?

In that moment of hesitation, he was struck by the pink beam and instantly turned into stone. Then, with a cracking sound, he crumbled into powder.

"After turning to stone, did he lose control of the energy in his body?" Hancock glanced at him, no longer paying attention to the unlucky Ōtsutsuki. "I wonder where the source of all this Chakra is?"

"Give me a moment. Finding such a powerful energy source won't be difficult. But Hancock, it seems you've completely merged your Fruit ability with your Chakra?"

Vegapunk remarked, then commented on Hancock's ability with some surprise.

"It's all thanks to you, darling!" Hancock excitedly hugged Vegapunk tightly.

"Chakra's fusion properties are naturally excellent. After absorbing Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's power, it became even easier to merge with Devil Fruit abilities. It seems like I've reached a certain special realm, or rather, this is what complete Chakra is supposed to be!"

Vegapunk thought for a moment. This was likely the result of the so-called All-Encompassing Realm, right? Indeed, once the quality of Chakra reached its peak and formed a Bloodline Network, it became much easier to use at will, completely different from ordinary Chakra.

After the power of a Devil Fruit merged with Chakra, the resulting power was entirely different. Rule-based abilities like the Love-Love Fruit were already troublesome, resulting in an instant kill once they hit. Now that she could carry this power in all her Chakra, it could be said that once Hancock fully unleashed her power, she would be terrifyingly unstoppable.

Even the final boss, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya, probably wouldn't be able to withstand this fusion of Devil Fruit and Bloodline Network.

After thinking for a moment, Vegapunk and the others entered the castle. With their Observation Haki, it was easy to find the hiding Ōtsutsuki Toneri. Vegapunk then had Hancock petrify Ōtsutsuki Toneri before placing him directly into a Sealing Scroll.

Sealing Scrolls couldn't hold living people, but holding a stone statue was no problem. Because Ōtsutsuki Toneri's bloodline had reverted to its ancestral state, he was no different from a pure-blooded Ōtsutsuki. When the time came, he would have Hancock restore him, making him another excellent experimental subject.
