"How is it? How do you feel?"
Vegapunk glanced at Hancock, who seemed unchanged on the surface, and asked.
Vegapunk had just used the External Sage Mode Potion on Hancock. He used the potion as ink and applied it to Hancock's arm via a Sealing Technique. By the time the Sealing Technique was complete, the potion's effect on her body had finished, forming micro-organs that absorb and harmonize Natural Energy.
On the surface, however, aside from some floral patterns on her fair arms, there were no other changes to Hancock's body.
There was no eye shadow, no patterns on her face, and certainly no signs of animalization on her body.
Hancock clenched her fists and sensed her condition. "My Chakra seems to have increased quite a bit, but more importantly, my physical body seems to have been strengthened... by about twenty or thirty percent?"
Senjutsu Chakra is said to enhance the power of Ninjutsu and Taijutsu by several or even dozens of times, but this clearly depends on one's own base stats. Given Hancock's constitution, if it were multiplied by ten, she might be able to beat down even Kaguya Ōtsutsuki, which was naturally impossible.
Just like Uchiha Madara during the Fourth Shinobi World War; after obtaining Senjutsu Chakra, his strength certainly improved, but at most by a few dozen percent. This was because his power was already close to the ceiling; Sage Mode, which could provide a massive leap for ordinary Ninjas, was only a slight boost for him.
Nevertheless, Hancock was actually quite satisfied. At her level, ordinary training yielded little effect; without at least a decade or so, she couldn't hope to improve this much.
A smile appeared on her face. "darling, is this a new technology you've just developed? You used it on me first, I'm so touched!"
"Among the three of us, your physical body is the strongest. Even if something went wrong, that bit of Natural Energy wouldn't cause you any harm. To conduct an experiment, I naturally had to find you!"
These words only circled in Vegapunk's mind. He wasn't a fool and certainly wouldn't say them out loud. Instead, he smiled and said to Hancock, "Of course. Hancock, your strength is the greatest among us. To gain a foothold in this unfamiliar world, we'll definitely have to rely on you."
"Don't worry, darling, I will definitely protect you well!" Hancock lunged forward and hugged Vegapunk tightly. Fortunately, Vegapunk had already replaced his physical body; otherwise, he might have broken a few bones this time.
Vegapunk patted Hancock to get her to let go, thinking that the Empress was indeed easier to coax. If it were Nico Robin, she would probably start snarking about whether they had to conquer the world to be considered as having 'gained a foothold.'
With the current power of the Vegapunk trio and their subordinate forces, as long as the Ōtsutsuki 'gods' didn't show up, it was truly impossible to find a situation that could put them in danger.
After Hancock let go, Vegapunk extracted some cells from her and studied them for another hour or two. Finally, he concluded that the effects of permanent Sage Mode on people from the One Piece World and the Naruto World were likely similar.
Only then did he take the collected materials and manufacture two more Sage Mode Potions for himself and Robin.
As for Orochimaru... let him collect and manufacture it himself! Since he was an assistant, Orochimaru was already very clear on the formula and manufacturing method; this would also save some funds.
Additionally, unlike Vegapunk, who crudely called the potion 'Sage Mode Potion,' Orochimaru called it 'Sage Elixir' and the entire process the 'Sage Seal.' Perhaps it's because everyone in the Naruto World loves naming things? Regardless, calling it that certainly made it sound much more prestigious. At the very least, it made it easier to lure subordinates into working.
However, due to the need for a large amount of rare materials, currently, aside from the Vegapunk trio, even Suikazan Fuguki had not received the Sage Seal enhancement because the raw materials had been almost entirely used up by the three of them.
Orochimaru, however, did have some tricks up his sleeve. Somehow, he managed to get more raw materials, made another batch of Sage Elixir for himself, and had Vegapunk apply the Sage Seal to him.
In reality, the Sealing Technique required for the Sage Seal was extremely complex. Aside from Vegapunk, who possessed a quantum brain, even a Ninjutsu genius like Orochimaru couldn't guarantee success every time. Facing raw materials worth hundreds of millions of Ryo, Orochimaru didn't dare waste them... While Vegapunk and the others were researching Sage Mode, two or three months passed.
Ever since the Sea Ninja Village occupied the coastal cities of the Land of Wind in the last war, although the Sand Ninjas had always wanted to take them back, the massive disparity in strength forced them to rely on the desert terrain to barely manage. Even so, the battle results were mostly losses.
Although the Land of Wind's territory is the largest among the Five Great Nations, most of it is a vast wasteland. Aside from areas near a few main river channels, there are only scattered oases.
Among them, the coastal region, with its abundant water brought by the monsoon, can be considered one of the core areas of the entire Land of Wind, accounting for at least thirty percent of the nation's tax revenue.
With such a place occupied, one can imagine how anxious and furious the Daimyō of the Land of Wind would be. Since that major defeat, the wording of the letters sent by the Daimyō to the Hidden Sand Village had become increasingly severe, stopping just short of forcing the entire Village onto the battlefield.
In this situation, the Sand Ninjas were left with only two choices: all-out war or total surrender. Under immense pressure, Rasa had to accelerate the originally slow negotiation process, and the first phase of the Sand Ninjas' reparations was soon in place... Opening her eyes in a daze, Pakura felt her head spinning.
Where am I? Right, I remember the Village gave me an important mission—to go to the Sea Ninja Village for peace negotiations... As Pakura recalled, she seemed to return to that moment in time.
"These are the various materials and funds for the first phase to be handed over to the Sea Ninja Village! They have promised that as soon as the first phase of funds and materials is delivered, they will retreat back to the sea."
A middle-aged man with a slightly dark complexion and a serious, somewhat fierce expression said to Pakura. He led a dozen subordinates, escorting a large cart of Sealing Scrolls.
Pakura looked at the type of Sealing Scrolls and calculated the quantity. With just a mental estimate, she knew the Village had taken a massive hit this time.
