With roars and strange cries, the young Ninja's bodies rapidly underwent drastic changes, transforming into a half-human, half-animal state.
At the same time, their aura rapidly expanded, reaching a level that even the Kirigakure Jonin felt threatened by.
They weren't afraid of one or two such young Ninja, but with three, five, seven, or eight, even a Jonin would likely be overwhelmed.
"How about it? Want to go up and try?" Vegapunk looked at the Kirigakure Jonin and asked with a smile.
"Then let me give it a try!" The first to step forward was a Ninja named Ao. Although an auxiliary Ninja, Ao's own strength was worthy of his Jonin rank. Most importantly, with his Byakugan, he could better gauge the strength of these young Ninja.
It was impossible for the Sea Ninja Village to have so many geniuses. Even if all Ninja of the same age from all Ninja villages were added together, it would be debatable whether they could even gather 50 people.
Connecting Vegapunk's desire to show them his latest technology with the changes in these young Ninja, all the Kirigakure Ninja guessed that these young Ninja had clearly undergone special enhancements. This was probably Vegapunk's trump card to persuade them.
But what are the limits of this enhancement? Will it damage potential? Are there any side effects?
The Kirigakure Ninja didn't know much about these things, and so, Ao, with his strongest observation abilities, was naturally the best choice to step forward.
Ao also had other thoughts. The transformation ability of these young Ninja reminded him of Suikazan Fuguki's and Yagura Karatachi's transformations during their battle.
Although the magnitude of power increase and Chakra intensity differed greatly, and even the changes in body shape were completely different, in Ao's Byakugan eyes, this transformation of body structure could indeed be considered a continuous lineage.
If this was true, and if this modification had no side effects... Ao's heart also stirred faintly. If this were true, what did merging two Ninja villages matter? As long as the cake was big enough, everyone would have enough to eat. If they could truly raise the strength of all Ninja by one level, Kirigakure could sweep across the entire Ninja World, and even occupying the Land of Fire would be no problem!
Ao stepped forward, and similarly, a Ninja from the opposing side also came forward, appearing to be the strongest among all the young Ninja.
After transforming, this Ninja was tall and covered in white fur, looking like a giant human bear. Vegapunk pondered for a moment and then remembered, this must be the White Bear Gene Modification Fluid, right?
Gene Modification Fluid for bears and apes, for example, has an enhancement effect on Ninja that is no less than that of some ferocious carnivorous animals, and has always been a popular choice among all enhancement fluids.
This is because the animals themselves have limbs very similar to humans, and their palms are also conducive to hand seals, so basically, they can exert all the enhancement effects without changing any fighting habits.
The two sides simply looked at each other, without forming any opposing seals, and immediately began to fight.
"Water Release: Water Dragon Bullet!"
"Water Release: Water Shockwave!"
Excluding his Byakugan and sensory abilities, Ao was a standard Jonin with no weaknesses, and his most proficient skill was Kirigakure's Water Release.
The opposing Ninja had thick skin and powerful strength, and also knew many Water Release Ninjutsu, but he was more than a cut below Ao.
The two Water Release Ninjutsu clashed, and moments later, the Water Dragon Bullet crushed the Water Shockwave, forcing the White Bear Ninja to use a Water Wall to block it.
After several Water Release exchanges, the White Bear Ninja stopped using Ninjutsu and charged directly, utilizing his physical advantage, wanting to engage Ao in close combat.
Ao's figure flickered. With the Byakugan, although he didn't use Gentle Fist, his Taijutsu was certainly not bad.
The opposing Ninja's physique, after transforming, might be stronger than an average Jonin, but Ao was not a truly average Jonin! And in terms of combat technique, he was several leagues ahead of the opposing young Ninja.
If it weren't for the need to observe the opposing Ninja's various conditions more thoroughly, with Ao's strength, he could easily subdue the opponent within a few moves.
But for now, he was playing seven parts defense and three parts offense, slowly engaging the opponent without haste, so that he could observe the opponent's body mechanics, muscle movement, internal organ function, and Chakra flow, to see if there were any major weaknesses or areas that exploited life force.
After sparring for more than ten minutes, seeing that the White Bear Ninja on the opposite side was still full of spirit and energy, the slightly fatigued Ao had to admit that the opponent's increase in strength was indeed a fundamental improvement, without any forced aspects, at least his Byakugan couldn't detect any problems.
After reaching this conclusion, Ao naturally no longer held back—mainly because he discovered that the opposing Ninja not only had long-lasting stamina, but also an abnormally vigorous vitality and recovery ability. If he dragged it out for another ten minutes, he might really be worn down by the opponent!
With a casual press on the opponent's shoulder, the young Ninja felt a numbness in his shoulder, and his Chakra was completely cut off. Taking advantage of the opponent's inability to move his arm and his wide-open guard, Ao struck a palm to his chest. Chakra penetrated his body, directly causing the young Ninja's heart to stop and him to go into shock.
Although he didn't have the Hyuga Clan's inheritance, Ao could still figure out some basic Byakugan abilities. Those two moves just now were roughly imitations of Pinpointing Vital Points and Gentle Fist.
Although they were only imitated techniques, they could only be considered a surprise move against truly experienced Jonin, with little effect. But for inexperienced young Ninja, they were already enough to decide the outcome.
The young Ninja's heart had only stopped, and he was merely in shock. He was quickly taken away for emergency treatment. After winning, Ao took two steps back, took a few breaths, and then looked at Vegapunk: "Can I pick a few opponents?"
Vegapunk raised an eyebrow and confidently said, "Go ahead, I don't mind if you test all of them!"
In reality, Vegapunk didn't expect these young Ninja to defeat the Kirigakure Jonin who had emerged from the Bloody Mist. The gap in experience and technique between the two was not something Chakra and physique could make up for, especially since their Chakra and physique were not stronger than the Jonin's.
His main goal was just to let these Jonin see the potential of these young Ninja. He didn't believe these Jonin wouldn't be tempted by his technology.
Although Vegapunk said so, Ao didn't dare to truly engage in a series of battles with these young Ninja. He estimated that he would run out of stamina after fighting two more, and even if he didn't waste any stamina from the start, his limit would only be five or six consecutive battles.
Moreover, it was only to test if Vegapunk's modification technology had any problems. Picking a few people to observe would be enough.
