Chapter 134 - Chapter 134: When Heaven Tries to Delete You

Night descended quietly over Frostwind.

Moonlight draped the palace in silver, and the city slept in rare peace. Yet beneath that calm surface, invisible waves of danger were already spreading. Somewhere far above the mortal plane, Heaven's judgment had been passed, and executioners were on their way.

Inside the inner palace, Arin sat beside a window, holding a cup of tea while watching Elara rest on a soft couch. She had been unusually quiet since Lyra revealed the prophecy, and although she tried to hide it, her emotions were clearly unsettled. Arin could feel it through their soul bond.

"Elara," he said gently, "you've been thinking too much."

She looked at him, her silver eyes reflecting moonlight. "Three heirs… three destinies… and Heaven wanting you erased," she replied softly. "How can I not think?"

He moved closer and held her hand. "No prophecy decides our family. No Heaven decides our fate."

Her lips curved slightly. "You always say things like that."

"And I always prove them," he replied with a smile.

Far away, in the void between realms, space twisted silently.

Three figures stepped out of nothingness.

They wore pale cloaks marked with ancient runes, their faces hidden behind masks of crystal. Their auras were strange—neither living nor dead, neither spiritual nor material. They were Heaven's most feared weapons.

Erasers.

Beings designed not to kill, but to erase existence itself.

"Target confirmed," one of them said in a hollow voice. "Arin Drayke. Fate anomaly. God-seed carrier. Termination authorized."

"Begin silent approach," another replied.

The space around them folded, and they vanished.

Back in Frostwind, Mira suddenly froze in her research hall.

Her instruments screamed.

Runes flickered violently.

Probability charts collapsed.

She stood up abruptly, eyes wide behind her glasses.

"Impossible… They're here."

She activated a communicator rune.

"Emergency alert. Highest level. Heavenly Erasers have entered the domain."

Alarms rang across the capital.

Golden barriers rose instantly.

Array formations ignited.

Soldiers rushed into position.

But most of them didn't even understand what they were facing.

Arin felt it at the same moment.

A chill ran through his divine pathways, as if reality itself was recoiling. He stood up slowly, his expression turning cold and focused.

"They've come," he said quietly.

Seren appeared beside him, sword already in hand. "About time. I was getting bored."

Lyra rushed in moments later, her face pale. "These aren't normal enemies," she warned. "They don't follow karma, destiny, or causality. They erase."

Elara walked to Arin's side, moonlight armor forming around her body. "Then we protect what's ours," she said firmly.

Without warning, space inside the palace courtyard collapsed.

Three distortions appeared.

Then the Erasers stepped out.

No sound.

No pressure.

No warning.

One moment, nothing.

The next, death incarnate.

The first Eraser raised its hand, and a beam of pale light shot toward Arin. Wherever it passed, air, light, and even time itself vanished.

Arin reacted instantly.

His Sovereign Domain unfolded.

Golden laws clashed with pale oblivion.

The collision sent shockwaves through the sky.

Buildings trembled.

Mountains cracked.

[SYSTEM ALERT]

Existence Erasure Detected

Emergency Defense Activated

Seren dashed forward, slashing with crimson flames, but her blade passed through the second Eraser as if through mist. Her attack disappeared halfway, erased before reaching its target.

"…That's cheating," she muttered.

The third Eraser appeared behind Elara.

A hand reached for her back.

Before it could touch her, Arin vanished and reappeared between them.

He grabbed the Eraser's wrist.

Golden blood dripped from his palm as erasure energy burned into him, but he didn't let go.

"You don't get to touch her," he said calmly.

Then he activated his authority.

"Imperial Law: Existence Lock."

Reality froze around the Eraser.

For the first time, it struggled.

Auren and Ardyn felt the danger.

They rushed out instinctively.

Golden and crimson light intertwined around them.

"Papa!" Auren shouted.

"Ba!" Ardyn cried.

Their combined aura reinforced Arin's domain.

[SYSTEM ALERT]

Family Resonance Amplified

Defense +300%

Lyra raised her hands desperately, chanting star scriptures. Fate threads wrapped around the battlefield, slowing the Erasers' movements.

"They're resisting deletion!" she shouted. "This shouldn't be possible!"

Arin's eyes burned.

"Nothing is impossible for my family."

He clenched his fist.

The first Eraser shattered.

Not exploded.

Not killed.

Shattered into fragments of nothingness.

Gone forever.

The remaining two retreated slightly.

For the first time, hesitation appeared in their movements.

"Threat level recalculated," one said. "Subject exceeds prediction."

"Request reinforcement—"

It never finished.

Elara's lunar spear pierced through its core, sealing it in moonlight.

Seren followed up, slicing the sealed space into pieces.

The second Eraser vanished.

Only one remained.

It stared at Arin silently.

Then, slowly, it dissolved into mist.

Retreat.

Silence returned.

The palace stood damaged but intact.

The sky cleared.

Stars shone again.

Arin finally relaxed.

He looked at his bleeding hand, then at his family.

All safe.

He smiled.

"Looks like Heaven failed."

Elara hugged him tightly. "Don't ever scare me like that again."

He held her back. "I promise."

(He didn't mean it.)

High Above — Heavenly Realm

An ancient figure slammed his staff.

"They resisted erasure?!"

"This Emperor…"

"…has stepped beyond fate."

Lyra looked at Arin with awe and fear.

"You're not just changing destiny anymore," she whispered.

"You're rewriting existence."
