Chapter 111 - Chapter 111: Little Dragon’s First Miracle

Three months passed in the blink of an eye.

Peace settled over Frostwind like a gentle blanket. Trade flourished, borders stabilized, and neighboring kingdoms sent gifts daily, hoping to gain favor with the Dragon Emperor.

But inside the palace…

True chaos had begun.

Morning — Dragon Palace Nursery

"Careful!"

"Not like that!"

"You'll drop him!"

"I'm not going to drop my own son!"

Arin stood stiffly in the middle of the room, holding Auren as if he were carrying a fragile artifact.

His posture was straighter than during battle.

His breathing was shallow.

His face was tense.

Elara sat nearby, trying not to laugh.

"You're acting like you're defusing a bomb."

"I fought an Emperor," Arin replied seriously. "This is harder."

Seren leaned on the doorframe. "Hand him over. You're terrifying him."

Auren blinked his big golden eyes.

Then yawned.

Tiny scales shimmered.

Mira walked in with a tablet of magical data.

"Observation report: Subject Auren has displayed abnormal mana circulation since birth."

"Translation?" Seren asked.

"He's a monster," Mira said calmly.

Suddenly—

Auren sneezed.

"Achoo!"

A small golden flame popped out.

Puff!

It gently burned a pillow.

Everyone froze.

Smoke rose.

Arin stared.

"…Did my son just breathe fire?"

Heir Ability Awakened

Skill: Dragon Spark (Beginner)

Elara rushed forward. "Are you okay?!"

Auren giggled.

"Ba-ba!"

Then another spark flew out.

This time it hit Arin's hair.

Sizzle.

A small curl burned.

Seren burst out laughing.

"Hahaha! Emperor defeated by baby!"

Arin panicked. "Hey! No fire inside!"

Training Yard — Later

News spread instantly.

"The young prince can use skills!"

"Three months old!"

"Heavenly talent!"

Scholars fainted.

Generals stared in disbelief.

Arin decided to test carefully.

They stood in an open field.

Protective formations activated.

Auren sat in Elara's arms.

"Okay," Arin said gently. "Show Papa your flame."

Auren blinked.

Then—

"Pah!"

A beam of golden fire shot out.

Boom!

A training dummy vanished.

Nothing left.

No ash.

No fragments.

Gone.

Silence followed.

Mira adjusted her glasses slowly.

"…That exceeded projections by 400%."

Seren whispered. "We're raising a weapon of mass destruction."

Elara hugged Auren protectively. "He's a baby!"

That Evening — Royal Chambers

Auren floated.

Literally.

Golden energy lifted him into the air.

He waved his tiny hands happily.

"Ba-ba-ba!"

Arin jumped. "Why is he flying?!"

[SYSTEM ALERT]

Passive Skill Activated

Dragon Levitation

Mira wrote furiously. "Record everything."

Seren shook her head. "Your kid skipped childhood."

Later That Night

Arin and Elara lay together, watching Auren sleep in a floating cradle of light.

"He's special," Elara whispered.

Arin nodded. "Too special."

He looked worried.

"What if higher realms come for him?"

Elara held his hand.

"Then we'll protect him."

"Together."

He smiled.

Far Away — Sky Rift

A crack opened in the heavens.

A silver-robed woman stepped out.

Her eyes glowed like stars.

"Confirmed," she murmured.

"Dragon Heir… located."

She vanished.

Back in the Palace

Auren suddenly opened his eyes.

They shone brilliantly.

He looked toward the sky.

And laughed.
