Chapter 15 - 15

The bonfire crackled under the starry night sky. Students laughed, some strummed guitars, others roasting marshmallows—but for Jay and Keifer, the world had shrunk to each other.

Jay leaned casually against a tree, oversized hoodie slipping slightly off her shoulder, the way she moved drawing eyes without even trying. Keifer's gaze was locked on her—intense, sharp, desperate, and utterly possessive.

She noticed.

And she smiled.

Slow, deliberate, teasing.

"You're staring," she whispered, stepping closer, brushing her hand lightly along his chest, letting her fingers linger. "Don't tell me you can't handle it."

Keifer's jaw tightened. "Jay…" he warned, low and controlled—but his voice betrayed him.

She tilted her head, smirk curling. "Or what? You'll tell everyone how much you need me?"

That made him freeze. His eyes darkened, pupils blown wide, the heat between them electric.

Jay leaned in, pressing her lips to his neck, leaving a mark just enough to show ownership, not hide it. A soft gasp left him, barely audible, but she heard it, and her grin widened.

"See?" she whispered against his skin. "I can play too."

Keifer's hands finally slid to her waist, pulling her flush against him. Breath hitched, voice rough. "Jay… stop teasing. Please."

She laughed softly, tilting up to meet his gaze. "Stop? Oh, I don't think you want me to stop."

His head tilted back, jaw tight, resisting the pull, but she pressed again—hickeys along his neck, kisses light and claiming, letting everyone around catch glimpses without even realizing what they were seeing.

"Jay…" he growled, hands gripping her hips, unable to restrain the heat building between them. "You're impossible."

"And you love it," she murmured, fingers tracing along his chest, lips brushing the corner of his jaw.

His breath hitched, eyes dark, pupils dilated. He couldn't hold back anymore—not here, not now. The world disappeared, the students, the firelight, all of it. All that mattered was her, teasing, bold, showing off her lover for him… and claiming him at the same time.

Finally, he captured her mouth in a kiss—urgent, possessive, claiming, but still gentle enough to let her know: she had broken his restraint.

Jay smiled into it, pressing her body closer, whispering against his lips:

"Mine. Everyone sees it."

Keifer's hands roamed her back, pulling her impossibly close. "Yes," he murmured, lips brushing her temple. "All mine. And no one's touching you."

The bonfire flickered behind them, shadows dancing over their intertwined forms, the air around them thick with jealousy, desire, and undeniable dominance.

Back in cabin

The cabin was dark, except for the soft glow of the hallway light slipping through the curtains. The others had wandered off to the common room after the bonfire, leaving just Jay and Keifer in the private quiet of their shared space.

Jay leaned against the wall, oversized hoodie slipping just enough to hint at her form, smirking. She could feel him watching, controlling himself—but barely.

"You've been holding back all day," she teased, voice low and deliberate, fingers brushing his chest. "Is that what you do when no one's looking?"

Keifer's jaw tightened. His hands clenched at his sides. His breathing was steady—controlled—but there was fire in his eyes.

"No more holding back," he murmured, voice rough, dark. "Not tonight."

Before she could react, he stepped closer, pressing her body flush against his. Her grin widened. "Keifer…" she whispered, teasing, pressing just enough to feel his restraint snapping.

And he lost it.

His hands moved with purpose, capturing her, claiming her. His lips traced hers, her neck, her shoulder… wherever she had left teasing marks earlier, he followed, claiming every inch, possessive and insistent.

Her laughter—soft, breathy, and desperate—turned into sounds that betrayed the heat building between them, and she realized with a blush that they were too loud.

The walls didn't mute them.

Down the hallway, someone paused. Murmurs floated, distant footsteps stopped. Even from the other side of the cabin, a few students exchanged knowing glances, confirming what everyone already suspected: Jay and Keifer weren't just flirting anymore.

But inside that room, none of that mattered.

Keifer's eyes met hers, pupils dark, lips close to her ear. "I've wanted this… you… all day," he whispered, voice rough, raw. "No one else, only you. Only here."

Jay shivered against him, teasing, testing, pushing him—but every move made his grip tighter, his lips hungrier, his restraint finally gone.

And even as the hallway whispered of their heat, even as the others unknowingly confirmed the chaos, they didn't care.

Not tonight.

Because in that private space, all rules were broken, all teasing answered, all restraint gone… and they belonged completely to each other.
