I was still standing at that spot even though Hades had asked me to go inside.
"Now, Iris." His voice boomed and I jerked back. His tone was enough to make me scared but rather than do as he asked, I simply stared at him.
I had heard him clearly and also knew the situation was serious but for some reason I didn't want to go inside while he looked like this.
His entire body had gone rigid, every muscle was tense. I knew this because I could see through his clothes.
The second howl echoed through the territory. The hairs on the back of my neck rose. I knew something was wrong but I didn't want to leave Alpha Hades.
Around us, I could hear the heavy sounds of boots. The warriors were already moving. I left the garden alongside Hades. Warriors were running from different angles and several of them shifted partially as they moved, their eyes glowing.
