In the video, the countdown to the Cell Games began. During those nine days, Son Goku lived a surprisingly leisurely life, spending his rest periods taking his family on picnics and camping trips. However, this peace was abruptly halted by the unease spreading across the globe. Cell's declaration had plunged humanity into a state of absolute terror.

The King dispatched a massive military force to eliminate the threat, but against Cell, the fruits of human ingenuity were utterly useless. Airplanes, tanks, and heavy artillery could not harm a single hair on the bio-android's head. With a casual wave of his hand, Cell wiped out the entire army, proving that the two sides existed on entirely different levels of power.

Realizing the scale of the tragedy, Goku knew they needed the Dragon Balls to revive those who had fallen. But since Kami had fused with Piccolo, the Dragon Balls had vanished. To restore them, Goku had to find a new Kami—specifically a Namekian. He abandoned his leisure, focused his Ki, and used Instant Transmission to warp to New Namek.

Because Goku had defeated Frieza, the Namekians welcomed him with great prestige. The new Grand Elder recommended a candidate Goku knew well: Dende. Having shared a deep bond with Gohan and Krillin during the Namek saga, Dende agreed to return to Earth. Under Dende's divine power, the Dragon Balls were reactivated. Goku then set off, effortlessly collecting the scattered orbs with a speed that made his childhood adventures seem like a lifetime ago.

While the Z-Fighters prepared, the "ordinary" world was making its own move. Mr. Satan, the reigning World Martial Arts Champion, announced his entry into the Cell Games. He dismissed Cell's god-like displays of Ki—like vaporizing an army—as mere "tricks" involving hidden bombs and special effects. His bravado ignited hope in his fans, who waited for their hero to save the day.

Akira, observing the multiversal broadcast, provided a sharp narration: "This is Hercule Satan's debut. Don't you all find him quite clownish? But what you don't know is that he eventually proves worthy of the title of hero. What's curious is why the world forgot their true savior. Before Satan, the champion was Son Goku, the man who defeated King Piccolo twice. How could the world simply forget him?"

Across the Dragon Ball world, people were equally puzzled. At this point in time, Hercule was a relative unknown, while Goku's victory over the demon king was legendary. They wondered if the future population had simply lost their memories or if the casualties were so high that only the ignorant remained.

Inside a distant dojo, a younger Mr. Satan watched the screen with a mix of sweat and excitement. He was thrilled to see himself as a future world champion but mortified by his own ignorance. He realized now that his "tricks" theory was a coping mechanism for an ordinary man facing the extraordinary.

The nine days finally passed. The Z-Fighters arrived at the arena, followed by Mr. Satan, his disciples, and a news crew. In Satan's eyes, the golden-haired warriors were just meddling amateurs.

He sent his disciples forward, but Cell didn't even flinch as they were neutralized. When Satan stepped in himself, a casual flick from Cell sent him crashing into a mountain. Cell didn't kill them; he simply found them too insignificant to bother with.

While Satan scrambled to explain his defeat—muttering about hidden springs in the floor—the true battle was ready to begin. The clownish antics were over. Stepping onto the tiles of the ring, the first true contender prepared to face the monster. That man was Son Goku.
