Frieza scoffed, refusing to believe that Vegeta could have already ascended to Super Saiyan 2. In his mind, using such a legendary peak of power just to handle Cell's second form would be an insult to the transformation's prestige.

After all, Son Goku had to use the initial Super Saiyan form just to keep up with Frieza's own full power. Would a level beyond that really be wasted on a mid-transformation insect?

"Vegeta: Who told you that Super Saiyan 2 must be reserved for Perfect Cell?" "Vegeta: Can't I just transform and wipe out this second-stage trash right now?" "Yamcha: No." "Tien Shinhan: Yeah, definitely no." "Frieza: Absolutely not."

The rejection was unanimous from everyone who held a grudge against the Saiyan Prince. Frieza, now Vegeta's sworn enemy in this cross-dimensional viewing, couldn't stomach the idea of his former subordinate surpassing him. He didn't want Vegeta to transform, and he certainly didn't want Goku to reach that level either.

Even the Z Fighters, though technically Vegeta's allies in the video's timeline, found it hard to swallow. In their current reality, they were still wary of him; the thought of Vegeta reaching a new pinnacle before Goku was simply unacceptable.

Vegeta was infuriated by the flood of doubt, but since he couldn't physically reach through the screen, he fell into a brooding silence. He convinced himself that the upcoming footage would silence them all by showing him crushing Cell under the heel of a new power.

The video continued. After Vegeta and Trunks emerged from the Hyperbolic Time Chamber, Goku and Gohan took their turn to undergo the grueling gravity training. Meanwhile, the father and son duo set off to intercept Cell. They found him on a remote island, dangerously close to Android 18's location. Cell, arrogant in his semi-perfect state, barely spared them a glance. He viewed Vegeta and Trunks as nuisances weaker than the Androids he was hunting.

Suddenly, Vegeta let out a primal roar. A violent, golden aura erupted from his body, the sheer pressure of his Ki shaking the very foundations of the island. He moved with blinding speed, completely overwhelming Cell. The second-form beast, once so dominant, was now a helpless punching bag under Vegeta's relentless assault.

"Vegeta: Hahahaha! Do you see that, you fools!" "Vegeta: I told you! It's me! I'm the one defeating Cell with the power of Super Saiyan 2!" "Krillin: But is this actually Super Saiyan 2? It looks exactly like the regular form to me." "Piccolo: He's right. His Ki has skyrocketed, but physically, there's no distinct change in his appearance." "Vegeta: And who decided that a transformation requires a change in hair style? Do any of you even know what the second stage looks like?"

Krillin and the others were silenced. Since none of them had ever seen a Super Saiyan 2, they couldn't technically prove Vegeta wrong. But Akira, watching with the tactical mind of a transmigrator, knew better. He recognized the bulkier muscles and the radiant glow—this wasn't a new level of evolution, but a forced expansion of the existing one.

In the video, Vegeta's dominance was absolute. Desperate and battered, Cell began to manipulate Vegeta's pride, shouting that if he could only reach his Perfect Form by absorbing Android 18, Vegeta wouldn't stand a chance. Blinded by his newfound strength and the legendary arrogance of his bloodline, Vegeta took the bait. He wanted to crush his opponent at their absolute best.

Against Trunks' frantic warnings, Vegeta stood aside and even actively blocked his own son from stopping the absorption. Simultaneously, Krillin had found Android 18 with the emergency shutdown controller in hand. One press would have ended the threat forever. However, haunted by the memory of her kiss and swayed by her beauty, Krillin wavered. In a moment of weakness that shocked the Z Fighters, he crushed the remote under his boot, allowing the Android to flee.

The narrator's voice rang out, cold and analytical. "Piccolo, Tien, and the others fought desperately to prevent this catastrophe, but their efforts were undone by two men. First was Vegeta, whose ego provided the opportunity. Second was Krillin, who chose a woman over the safety of the world. Both must answer to their comrades, but it is Vegeta who will pay the steepest price."

As the narration faded, the screen showed Cell finally capturing Android 18. Despite her resistance, she was pulled into his body. A pillar of blinding golden light erupted, far more intense than anything seen before. When the radiance died down, the bloated, awkward form of Second Form Cell was gone. In his place stood a sleek, composed, and terrifyingly powerful warrior: Perfect Cell.

The atmosphere shifted instantly. Cell no longer even looked at Vegeta; the Prince was no longer a threat, merely a nuisance. Yet Vegeta remained oblivious. He struck a pose, pointing his thumb confidently at his own chest, and declared the line that would live in infamy:

"Ore wa, Super Vegeta da!" (I am Super Vegeta!)

The pride was short-lived. The moment the fight resumed, the power dynamic flipped. Vegeta's attacks, which had battered Cell moments ago, didn't even make the bio-android flinch. The "Super Saiyan" was utterly outclassed. With a brutal, bone-shattering elbow to the spine, Cell sent Vegeta hurtling into the dirt. The Prince lay unconscious in the crater, a broken contrast to the boastful warrior he had been moments before.
