Chapter 2 - Chapter Two

I peered at the files as Creon tossed it on the desk of the boss' office. It's been just two days since that funeral. I stood up. Towered on the table surface, "Is it a succession certificate?"

It was.

Creon, who was relaxing on the new couch, nodded. My eyes narrowed. Why the name of his nephew here?

I looked up,"Why Alexander's name here? He's not the heir." I disdainfully scoffed. I rested my fists on the glass table.

"Well….. There's no one to inherit all this business. And I don't have time to do this along with my political career. So yeah." He yawned.

My teeth pressed together roughly at the idea. The heir should be she.

I pressed my lips together and looked down,"So, I need to work under that arrogant man, now?" I released a fake exhausted breath.

Creon chuckled, "Yes. You, yourself are the reason for this." He started to scroll through his phone, "Don't forget now." He added.

If I knew, that rotten head made his nephew the heir. I sighed. That didn't matter now.

Creon showed me his phone,"Look. Alexander called." He picked up,"Congrats, dude…" He stood up and walked out of the room while yapping words without meaning.

Yes, Alexander would be more beneficial for all of them. Even for me too. But my benefit didn't matter since my birth.

So, around midnight I found myself standing at Alexander's house. Just a few seconds ago I pressed the bell. The bell rang. Some quite phased footsteps echoed then with a click the door opened and a big-nosed man peeked from the inside. He annoyingly growled,"You?"

I forced a smile on my lips,"Yes, sir. Well… Now I'll work as your P.A and I have something to discuss about….. Company."

Alexander repeatedly clicked his tongue,"Come in."

He let me in. The house was black. Everything inside the house was black. Marvels to ceiling everything black.

An average spoiled rich boy.

He sat on the big throne-like armchair which was standing before the couch. He pointed to the couch, signing to sit. I ran my hand through my golden hair and sat on the couch.

He raised his thick eyebrows, "So, What you want to tell?"

I looked down,"Well… I found something about your uncle's death. I mean murder." My voice lowered on its own.

Now, he was actually looking at me. When I looked up, I found a frown on his eyebrows. He wasn't sad about his uncle's death.

But curiosity killed the cat.

Here, I killed prey.

I looked up,"The assassin was so close to him. Someone so trusted." I leaned on the couch.

"Who?" He uttered. I looked around dramatically then stood up. My hands automatically went to my back pocket. He didn't notice. I walked to his chair. I leaned down to his ear, "Me." I whispered against his ear before he could pronounce something, I poked the syringe into his neck. His eyes came out when I grabbed his throat. He whimpered, even a few times kicked my legs.

He tried to grab my hair but couldn't as the neurotoxic took over. His eyes shot open more. The struggles were weakening. The breath was lowering. Such an easy ruin. Didn't even fight me for once.

This man dreamed of ruling this business.

Pathetic.

When his breath totally stopped. I grabbed his legs. And dragged it with me. I took it to the backyard. I quickly ran to the entrance door again. I brought a shovel with me which I hid behind his plants. I dashed to the backyard again. He had planted a cherry blossom tree at a corner. And I was going to bury him under that.

After minutes of digging enough, I threw the corpse in the passage and again filled it with soil.

I returned to the dark drawing room. I found a door under the staircase. I went in. At a corner of that storeroom, there was a small door. It was locked by his fingerprint. So, I pulled out his cutted index finger from pocket and pressed it. The door opened. It was a control room. I deleted the last five years record.

After I buried the finger too, I went to the drawing room. I grabbed his phone. I knew his password.

I found a picture of him and his girlfriend. Send it to Creon.

Dude, I'm gonna hide with her for some years. For our love we need to do it. Sorry, I can't look after the business.

I switched off the phone. Put it in my pocket. Grabbed the shovel. While resting that on my shoulders, I came out of the house after locking it from the outside. And about his guards?

I buried them under his garden.

I again found myself in that office. This time, I yawned on the couch and Creon slammed his fists on the table,"That bastard fled with his girl!"

"So what now?" I nonchalantly asked.

He looked at me. Narrowed his eyes,"Julie. She's the rightful owner of all of this, now."

He knew.

He turned his gaze to the window,"You're too clever. Also lucky."

I laid on the couch,"Can't agree with the lucky past."

Under the lightning, I finally reached the destination. I wiped my rain soaked forehead. My clothes stacked to my skin.

The door opened,"You?"

The familiar, smooth, warm voice came. Julie opened the door more.

"Why at this time? And….. You're soaked.." She said, Shiver ran through my shine as she checked my head to toe.

"May I come inside. There's something important." I requested.

She nodded. When I went inside, I really felt irritated as she was actually packing her things. Those bastards didn't let her live here. But now, it's all hers now.

She didn't notice I was carrying a plastic back.

"This." I expanded my hands to give that to her. She blinked,"What's this?"

"Just open, ma'am." I smiled.

She did. It was a succession certificate. Her movement paused. Her stare slowly drafted on me.

I bowed immediately,"All of this is yours, ma'am. Even me too." I added immediately,"As your PA."

"But…" She was about to say something but I said,"You don't need to worry. I know everything. I'll help you. And serve you." I bowed deeply. And turned to live.

"Stop." She suddenly said, I immediately paused my phase.

"Tomorrow, Sharp 8'O clock." She cleared her throat.

I courtesied. And left.
