Chapter 63 - Fulfilled

Ryo looks back at everyone and says while laughing, "He exists!"

Ruqayya says, "That's what we have been trying to tell you."

"But that was a miracle."

Noah says, "Better than that. That rhino you threw ran away."

Sulaiman says, "So cool!"

Abraham says, "Another fun fact, Ryo. It might sound cheesy, but He loves you. Sometimes you don't even need to call to Him. If you're in danger, He'll protect His beloved slave out of pure mercy."

Benjamin adds, "Oh, and He has no children."

Abraham adds, "And no family."

Ali adds, "He is self-sufficient."

Aisha adds, "And He is the Beginning and the End."

Ruqayya adds, "And if you're wondering how He looks, don't bother. He is beyond our comprehension."

Scarlet says, "The same goes for Heaven as well."

Noah says, "Alright, let's go back."

They all go back to the palace.

Zain sees everyone coming into the living room, stuffed while touching his belly, and asks, "So, Ryo, are you aware now?"

Ryo says, "Yeah, but one thing is bothering me. Why are we slaves to God?"

Zain says, "Because He literally made you."

Everyone else says, "That's what we said."

Ryo says, "Okay, sure. He made us. If He loves us so much, why call us slaves?"

Ruqayya touches Ryo's shoulder and says, "You'll understand."

Ryo brushes her off and says, "No, I won't."

He runs out of the living room.

Ruqayya tries to go after him.

Zain says, "Don't. Let him cool down first."

A few hours pass, and the sun is setting.

Ruqayya goes for some fresh air and sees Ryo sitting on the roof of the palace.

Ruqayya flies up and sits beside him.

"Hey, Ryo," she says.

Ryo says, "Hey, Ruqayya. I'm sorry for brushing you off."

Ruqayya says, "It's okay. I just came to check up on you. But why does being called a slave bother you so much?"

Ryo says, "You see, growing up I didn't have parents. I was literally born in an orphanage. The name of that orphanage was the Federation of 99. People would say it was the best orphanage."

He remembers a lady saying,

"You kids are nothing but slaves, and you will work for us till someone comes and gets you."

A man says,

"By the looks of it, no one will come for you."

Ryo takes off his black short-sleeved jacket and white T-shirt.

Ruqayya, in shock, sees all of the scratches on his body.

Ryo says, "All 99 of these people were pure evil. They didn't give a damn about us."

Ruqayya says, "So how did you escape?"

Ryo says, "Honestly... I don't remember. I was sleeping with the rest of the kids in this giant room. We all slept on the floor, and every night, including my two friends..."

Ruqayya says, "Before you tell me, were you all friends with each other?"

Ryo says, "At first, no. But when I was six, we understood each other, and all of us had a strong friendship. So every night they would always say, 'I hope we get saved and be free from these people.'"

"Then, two years ago, I had enough."

"I got out from the giant room and saw two daggers on the floor, which wasn't a surprise for us. Weapons would just lie on the ground all the time."

Ruqayya says, "Why?"

Ryo says, "They would hope we would get into a fight one day to the death for their entertainment. Oh, and so we could have easy access to weapons."

"I took the daggers."

"I went downstairs to the center of the orphanage where they usually hang out."

Ryo remembers himself going downstairs and killing the first person that tried to stop him.

The other 98...

Young Ryo closes his eyes.

The next moment...

Ninety-seven heads lie on the ground.

The other kids run downstairs to see what is going on.

What they see is a bright color of red covering Ryo.

Young Ryo stands there in shock.

The last person comes to attack him.

Young Ryo quickly slices his head off and holds it in his hand.

He runs to the first floor and leaves everyone behind.

Thinking they would all be horrified...

That night, he tries to kill himself.

Until Elizabeth stops him.

The rest is history.

Ruqayya says, "You didn't have any experience in fighting, right?"

Ryo says, "Nope."

Ruqayya says, "Your Raiki probably awakened that night. Usually your Raiki is awakened the moment you're born, but if not, it can be awakened by sheer will."

Ryo says, "Now you know why I hate being called a slave."

Ruqayya says, "You know, the word 'slave' was originally meant for all creation. In time, people abused that title, or the people that had the title were abused."

"When God gave us that title, it was not to humiliate us. It was to show the realism of things. Whether you like it or not, we are nothing without Him."

"You believe He exists now, right?"

Ryo says, "Yeah."

"When everyone was hoping they would get saved from the orphanage, you went up and freed them."

"Don't you think God awakened your Raiki for that very moment?"

"Don't you think He heard His creation's hopes and fulfilled them?"

Ryo says, "Well... if you put it like that..."

Ruqayya says, "Like Abraham said, He loves His slaves. Even if you don't believe in Him, He will guide you. Your story is proof of that."

Ryo says, "Well... I guess so."

Everyone else behind the roof, eavesdropping, says,

"Couple of the century."

Ruqayya looks at Ryo and, out of the blue, says,

"RYO, WILL YOU MARRY ME?!"

Ryo says,

"HUHHHH!"

Everyone who was eavesdropping says,

"WE CALLED IT TOO SOON!"
