Marcus lay in the aftermath of another entire night of being utterly dominated. One-sided landslide victory. Again. His body was a map of fresh bruises, bite marks, and the lingering ache of being ridden until his soul felt like it had been squeezed out through his dick. He was curled in Sarah's embrace now. One hand rested possessively on the firm curve of her ass. His face was buried deep between those massive, soft breasts huge lemons that still smelled of jasmine, sweat, and the thick sweet musk of her multiple releases. Every breath he took was full of her. Warm. Intoxicating. Comforting.
Sarah held him tightly. Her fingers lightly brushed through his hair in slow, soothing strokes. She was satisfied. Deeply. As the days passed her bond with him deepened into something real, something that scared her a little. She wanted to know more. Needed to. Before they went any further.
She spoke in a sweet gentle voice.
"Lin Mo… I am going to tell you something. Before we decide to go ahead in our relationship."
Marcus's ears perked up instantly. He moved his head from the warm valley of her breasts. Tilted it to look deep into her eyes. Waiting.
Sarah took a breath. Her voice stayed soft but carried weight.
"My family… we are not from this continent. My sister Jenny and I came here with our grandfather from a distant place. A continent called Elysara."
Marcus listened. Silent. Absorbing.
She continued.
"Our family owned a huge business empire there. One of the largest merchant networks in Elysara. But…"
Her body started shaking. Marcus felt it immediately. Saw her eyes redden, tears gathering on the edge. He slid his hand up her back. Rubbed slow comforting circles. Pulled her closer. Hugged her tight. Waited with patience.
After a few minutes she calmed. Voice steadier but still fragile.
"My parents were assassinated. Internal struggle in the royal families. The one we supported betrayed us. Confiscated everything. Started hunting us down. Even now… they are still searching. My grandfather brought us here to hide. To rebuild. But we live in fear every day."
Marcus wanted details. Wanted to know names, faces, exact events. But she lacked many specifics. Only her grandfather knew the full truth.
He came to one clear conclusion.
Her family was still being hunted by the royalties of Elysara continent. Even here. Even now.
Guilt twisted in his gut. He was hiding so much from her. He could not tell her everything. Not yet. But he could give her this.
He spoke quietly.
"My real name is Marcus Rhineheart. I was bought as a slave by Xue Lian, owner of the Black Seal Trade Association. Then I got captured by the silent yin lotus sect , they used me. I escaped. I am still running from them."
Sarah's eyes widened slightly. Surprise flickered.
He continued.
"I am the author of the novel Bound by Desires. That confirmed your suspicion, didn't it?"
She nodded slowly. A small smile touched her lips through the lingering tears.
They stayed like that. Hugging. Hearts open. After the heart-to-heart talk they both felt lighter. Closer. They knew more about each other now.
From her Marcus learned his photo was circulating in Tianluo City. Huge bounty on his head. His women were anxious. Searching desperately.
He knew he could not go back. Not without a plan. If caught by the Silence Lotus Yin Sect it would be the end.
He kept hugging her for a while. Gently kissed her lips. Soft. Reassuring.
Then a dark sinister voice rang inside his head.
Run motherfucker if you don't want to become a cauldron.
Marcus jolted upright. Stood on the bed. Sarah blinked in surprise at the sudden movement.
He immediately pulled on his robe. Spoke quickly.
"I remembered something important. Please take a rest."
Then he used Shadow Step. Vanished.
Sarah stared at the empty space. Knew something was wrong. Decided to chase after him.
Marcus flashed through the city market like a ghost. Shadow Step chaining one after another. Heart pounding in his ears. Sweat already beading on his forehead. The streets were crowded merchants shouting, carts rattling, qi lamps flickering overhead but he moved like smoke. Turning corners. Ducking under awnings. Weaving between stalls. Every shadow became a portal. Every turn a desperate gamble.
The dark voice guided him, sharp and urgent.
Left. Now right. Duck into that crowd. Faster you idiot.
Marcus followed without question. He had paid for ignoring it before.
But he was happy with this sixth sense ability. It warned him in advance.
He knew the Silence Lotus Yin Sect had found his whereabouts. But how could they keep tracking him even after all the turns and twists? Crossing several districts in the sprawling city? That bothered him. His pulse hammered. Breath came short. Lungs burned.
In the distance a group of cultivators in black robes chased him. One held a disc-like array instrument. It glowed faintly. Pointed always toward Marcus. Like a compass locked on prey. The disc pulsed in rhythm with his steps. Relentless.
One female cultivator cursed under her breath, voice cutting through the market noise.
"This fucker runs quite fast."
Marcus thought of leaving the city to escape. Open roads. Forest cover. The dark voice immediately shut that down.
You are still a dog in heat thinking with your third leg. Want it chopped off? Then go ahead outside.
Marcus cursed but followed the direction pointed out. Gradually moving closer to the city lord mansion. Slipping past checkpoints. Evading guards. Heart in his throat. Every second felt like a blade at his neck.
In the distance the female cultivator cursed again.
"This fucker is moving toward the city lord mansion. It might complicate things."
She turned to the cultivator next to her.
"Use your divination technique. Pinpoint his approximate location. We cannot wait longer. If city guards get involved failure means harsh punishment from the sect master."
She took out a transportation array disc. Handed it to the divination master.
In the next second the group vanished. Teleported.
Marcus took a left turn from an alley.
The dark voice cursed.
We are fucked up.
In the next moment a flash appeared in front of him. Black robes. Glowing swords. Binding ropes already snaking through the air.
Marcus immediately used Shadow Step to avoid collision. Bolted toward an open market square. Legs burning. Lungs screaming. Adrenaline flooded his veins like liquid fire.
He saw the group of ten black-robed cultivators behind him. Cursed.
Fuck. Silence Lotus Yin Sect caught up.
He knew he could not fight them in close quarters. Needed distance. Needed chaos.
In the next second he took out the cluster bomb he had prepared. Never thought he would need it this early. If he had been even a day late he might have been chopped lamb on their plate.
When he reached the open city square he halted. Turned. Faced them.
The cultivators closed in a few meters away. Energy swords flashed. Binding ropes shot toward him like black serpents.
He used Shadow Step to the maximum. Form disappeared like a ghost.
All their strikes landed on empty ground. Raised dust. Energy swords pierced cobblestone with screeching sounds. Sparks flew. Stone cracked.
They continued the chase. Closing fast.
But one female cultivator noticed the round object in his hand earlier with her qi sense. Tried to warn them.
Too late.
The cluster bomb broke apart. Small fist-sized balls scattered. Covered the entire market center. Their group was right in the middle.
They had just enough time due to quick reflexes to activate defense array plates.
Next moment a bright flash. World ended for them.
They saw flickering of their defense shields. Cracks spiderwebbed across them. Then the blast wave ruptured their internal organs. Blood sprayed from mouths, noses, ears. Lungs caved. Livers shattered. Eardrums burst with wet pops. Bones cracked inside their bodies.
Those who activated late were blown apart. Plastered across stone pavement in gruesome sprays of blood and organs. Limbs torn. Flesh shredded. Screams cut short.
Marcus at a distance saw a mushroom cloud rise from the market center. Mouth wide open. When the blast wave hit him it threw him to the ground. Whole city trembled like an earthquake. Windows shattered. Qi lamps exploded. Dust billowed.
This was the first time he used it. If he had known the blast would be this big he never would have dared inside the city.
The dark sinister voice rang inside his head.
Run fucker otherwise you will be caught by city guards.
Marcus immediately used Shadow Step. Form vanished into darkness.
Soon the entire city turned upside down. First time in history they encountered an incident of this scale. Alarms blazed. Shouts filled the streets. Panic spread like wildfire.
At a distance Sarah saw it all. She had been following him. Planning a strategy to rescue Marcus. Telling her underlings to prepare ambush. Then she saw the flash. Then the huge blast.
She cursed.
Why did you even run?
Without thinking she ran away from the scene as fast as she could. Knew if caught by city guards it would be the end for her.
One step closer.
