Chapter 100 - 100-The War Goddess Descends

Indeed, Big Shrimp was Alto himself.

Originally, he just wanted to give those novice players a chance in this brutal competition. But ultimately, he still failed to protect them all.

Besides the designer himself, who else could get first place while not possessing outstanding personal combat strength?

He had entered the competition as Big Shrimp while deliberately acting less capable and hiding his advantages. He even established the Peace Camp to shelter novices from the harsh reality of the competition.

He intended to give inexperienced players a chance to breathe and learn, guide them in figuring out how to survive in this prehistoric world, and add more diversity to the competition instead of simply turning it into a pure survival of the fittest.

But in the end, they could not withstand the assault of the Berserker Alliance. The ease and comfort had worn down some players' fighting spirit over time, and the gap in strength ultimately could not be bridged by his goodwill alone.

The Lunaria Squad had long received news that the Peace Camp was under attack. Their relationship with the Peace Camp had always been good throughout their previous interactions.

Logically, they should have rushed to support the Peace Camp when it was attacked by superior forces. However, they were currently unable to spare any attention for their allies.

Because their own territory was also under attack at the same time.

The Sun Gods, led by Jose, were charging mightily towards their Camp in a coordinated assault. But fortunately, they always maintained reconnaissance troops on patrol.

So they quickly set up their defensive positions before the enemy arrived. Their fight was similar in intensity to the Peace Camp's, yet Rowan and the others remained exceptionally calm throughout. They relied on their practiced coordination and pre-constructed fortifications to their advantage.

They managed to withstand wave after wave of fierce attacks and ultimately repelled Jose's assault successfully after hours of combat.

As the people cleaned up the battlefield and tended to their wounded dinosaurs, they were seething.

"These guys are truly detestable!"

"Are they perhaps allied with the Berserker Alliance?!"

Only Boshita looked grave as he surveyed the damage. He immediately made a decision that surprised everyone, and the busy people suddenly received a notification.

[Boshita has left the squad!]

Rowan was puzzled when he saw Boshita voluntarily leave the group they'd built together.

"What are you doing?!"

Boshita looked at Rowan apologetically as he prepared for his departure.

"They only attacked because of me. I'm sorry you got tangled up in all this!"

"What nonsense are you-!" Rowan protested immediately.

He wanted to persuade Boshita further, but Boshita interrupted the conversation directly with a firm shake of his head.

"They didn't achieve their goal this time, and they will come looking for me again soon. My departure is the only solution that will keep you all safe!"

The others wanted to dissuade him from his reckless plan, but Boshita's mind was made up and couldn't be changed.

He looked back at his partners, whom he had fought alongside through so many battles, and his eyes welled up slightly. Finally, he nodded toward them in farewell.

"Take care!"

Saying that, he urged a Spinosaurus forward and sped off toward the Mangrove Forest. His figure quickly disappeared into the dense woods.

At this time, quite a few players who had fled from the destroyed Peace Camp arrived at the foot of the mountainside while staggering out of exhaustion.

Super Nanny and Lake were among the survivors who made it.

Seeing this, Rowan and Carter immediately ordered the camp gates open to receive all survivors who needed shelter.

This was both out of consideration for their past relations with the Peace Camp and to strengthen their own power to deal with subsequent attacks.

At the same time, Nautia, who had always traveled alone as a solitary warrior, posted a tribal announcement in the Western Plains.

[Holy Sword Tribe officially established]

Relying on the reputation and formidable strength of a top-ten player, she quickly attracted a large number of fleeing players from the Peace Camp who sought strong leadership. The tribe's size rapidly expanded, becoming another significant force on The Island.

Meanwhile, on the mountainside of The Frozen Tooth, an absurd scene unfolded that was shocking enough to stun all players watching the livestream.

A roar that shook the mountain rocks echoed through the valley. A Giganotosaurus, whose size far surpassed that of ordinary dinosaurs, stood tall with its head raised proudly. Its hardened, cyan skin shimmered with a cold luster under the sunlight while fully exuding the terrifying aura of an apex predator.

[My god! It's a Giganotosaurus! Did Ms. Nautia dare provoke this thing?]

[Has she gone mad?! The Giganotosaurus is one of the apex predators on The Island, and she wants to tame it on her own? That's bordering on suicide!]

[There is absolutely no way to restrain a Giganotosaurus! Even giant metal chains are useless against this thing, and its damage is terrifying. Even a Tyrannosaurus Rex would cower in fear before it!]

[The starting level for Giganotosauruses on The Island is never below level 100! I wouldn't dare provoke this thing even playing on normal mode!]

[Is she going to fight the Giganotosaurus head-on?]

Nautia was seen wearing a white dress while holding a crossbow and leaping down from a cliff hundreds of meters high like a descending goddess.

The strong wind whipped her clothes dramatically. Her gaze was sharp as a blade, and the moment she adjusted her posture in mid-air, she pulled the trigger without hesitation.

Whoosh!

The specially made alloy grappling hook, attached to a sturdy chain, shot out and embedded itself precisely in the gap between the scales on the Giganotosaurus's back.

The chain instantly tightened and pulled her steadily toward the colossal creature.

Offended by the sight of this ant-like figure daring to challenge it, the Giganotosaurus was completely enraged.

It roared toward the sky again in fury, then violently twisted its massive body while attempting to fling Nautia off its back.

Seeing the shaking was ineffective against her grip, it changed tactics and charged toward the nearby rock face. It intended to crush the annoying figure against the hard mountainside.

At this critical moment, Nautia lightly tapped the Giganotosaurus's back with her foot while using the force of the impact to leap into the air. Her body dodged as flexibly as an acrobat, and rocks shattered as the Giganotosaurus smashed into the cliff face while she landed steadily on its neck during the chaos.

She then quickly switched to a long-barreled tranquilizer rifle in her hand.

Before the Giganotosaurus could react to her new position, she pulled the trigger again. A tranquilizer dart accurately pierced the soft skin beneath its neck.

[Holy crap! Her reaction speed is incredible! She almost got turned into paste!]

[Her movement is too smooth. It's like she is walking on flat ground or something!]

Maxed-out attributes combined with Nautia's exquisite movement techniques allowed her to always narrowly evade the Giganotosaurus's counterattacks by mere inches.

The pained Giganotosaurus grew even more frenzied as the drug began to take effect. It frantically scraped against the mountain while trying to dislodge her, then violently arched its back and swung its head in wild motions.

Nautia, relying on extreme agility, leaped back and forth between the Giganotosaurus's back and head like a shadow magnetically attached to it. No matter how hard the creature struggled, she remained firmly stuck to its body.

She used its scales for leverage under her feet while continuously aiming and firing the tranquilizer rifle in her other hand. Dart after dart pierced the Giganotosaurus's body, and the torpor rapidly increased.

Time slowly passed amidst this struggle between woman and beast. They fought from day to night, and from night back to day in an epic battle.

The Giganotosaurus's movements gradually became sluggish as the drugs accumulated. Its roars grew deeper, and its eyes began to lose focus.

It made one last unwilling charge against the mountain body in defiance. Its massive frame swayed dangerously, and finally, it could no longer hold on. It collapsed to the ground with a crash that kicked up a massive cloud of dust.

Nautia lightly leaped off its back and landed steadily on the ground. Although her white dress was dusty and torn, her posture remained upright and dignified.

She looked calmly at the fallen Giganotosaurus, as if she had just completed a routine task.

[She won! She really tamed the Giganotosaurus solo!]

[This is comparable to the legendary warriors recorded in the explorer notes!]
