Chapter 8 - ch 6 – The Blue Buffer

The air in the meeting room was filled with anticipation. The six Blue-eyed executives sat in their seats, glaring at each other as they awaited the arrival of Jin Taehyeok. One of the executives, a younger one, spoke up''Boss when is he-'' . ''He'll be here soon, trust me.'' Yujin shot back, the executive flinched slightly. The others nodded, their bodies more tense. A single spark could cause a chain reaction in the heated room, and Jin Taehyeok made one hell of a spark.

The door flung open, and Jin walked in. He didn't sit down – nor greet the executives. He leaned against the doorframe ,letting out a dark chuckle. ''Why did you bring a choir of blue-eyes?'' He mocked, the doorframe creaking as he spoke. The executives shifted uncomfortably in their seats. Jin's fiery eyes remained locked onto Yujin. ''I'm here to discuss your flagged volatile material, please take a seat.'' He said, controlled and calm.

He wasn't gonna let the red-eyed make him impulsive anymore.

Jin slipped into the seat, leaning back with a cocky grin on his face. One of the executives cleared their throat, ''Yujin Lee, may i present the case.'' He said. ''You may.'' Yujin mumbled, his eyes fixed on the executive, but he could feel the red-eyes glued onto him. The executive stood up. ''Executive woo presenting. This is regarding volatile material, case ****. The creator of the fabric is Jin Taehyoek, who will be defending his case here today.'' He said before sitting down.

''it's like watching a fucking theater play.'' Jin grumbled. He hated how it was all so fake. Every word, every syllable, every expression. It was all to please the Golds. Then Jin stood up, his hands brushed over his fur coat – then reached into his pocket. The guards reacted quickly, their hands already on the holster of their guns. The room grew smaller. ''And they say you guys don't have prejudgements.'' Jin smirked. He pulled out a folder from his coat, the room eased a little again, the executives letting out a breath they weren't aware they were holding. ''I apologize for the inconvenience.'' Yujin said, letting out a sigh. Jin just laughed, a mocking dark rumble. ''No you're not. '' he said, then slid the folder across the table. ''It's all in there. Cheap maintenance, cheap production. But the fabric feels expensive, you can make a giant profit from it.'' Jin murmured as he shoved his hands in his pockets, his eyes glinting with eased triumph. ''Executive woo, hand this folder over to Park Seoujin. I'll get back to you, Jin, once he's fact-tested it. Anything else you'd like to say?'' Yujin said, his voice calm and detached.

''Yeah, but then you'd just slam me against the wall again.'' Jin mocked. The executives exchanged nervous, confused glares. Jin stood up, running a hand through his hair ''I'll be on my way, director. Wouldn't wanna ruin your clean air, hm?'' He purred with amusement, then walked out.
