Chapter 1 - Chapter 1: A Life Full of Regrets And Rebirth in 2011

Chapter 1: A Life Full of Regrets

"Uncle! Uncle! Please help!"

Raghav Rao turned his head when he heard the child's scream.

The road was busy. Cars were rushing like always. People were walking fast, minding their own lives.

A small boy stood frozen in the middle of the road.

A truck was coming straight at him.

"Move! Move!" Raghav shouted.

The child didn't move.

Raghav didn't think.

He ran.

Someone yelled, "Are you mad?!"

Raghav pushed the boy away with all his strength.

The boy fell safely on the road side.

Raghav smiled.

Then—

BANG!

Pain exploded.

His body flew.

Everything went silent.

"…Sir… Sir… can you hear me?"

No answer.

Darkness.

Complete darkness.

Raghav felt nothing. No pain. No body.

Then a calm voice spoke.

"Life ended."

Raghav laughed bitterly.

"So this is death?"

Another voice continued.

"Age: 53."

"Status: Orphan."

"Regret level: Extremely High."

Raghav clenched his fists.

"Regrets?" he said. "My whole life was regret."

He spoke slowly.

"When I was a child, I wanted to be a cricketer."

"But I had no parents."

"No money."

"No support."

"I worked… just to eat."

"Survival became my life."

The voice stayed silent.

Raghav continued.

"I never married."

"I never lived."

"I only survived."

He smiled sadly.

"At least… I saved that kid."

"Do you wish to live again?"

Raghav's breath stopped.

"Live… again?"

"A second chance. With no survival pressure."

Raghav didn't hesitate.

"Yes."

"Soul Transfer Approved."

"Timeline Jump: Year 2050 → 2011."

The darkness cracked.

"Raghav… Raghav… wake up…"

A soft voice entered his ears.

Raghav opened his eyes.

Bright room.

White ceiling.

Soft bed.

Air conditioner sound.

"This… doesn't look like a hospital…"

Another voice spoke, worried.

"Doctor said he is fine now. The fever is gone."

A girl's voice replied happily.

"See! I told you my brother will be alright."

Brother?

Raghav tried to move.

His body felt light.

Too light.

He looked at his hands.

Small hands.

Smooth skin.

"Mom…" he said slowly.

The woman froze.

"He… he spoke!"

She rushed closer.

"Raghav, beta, can you see me?"

Raghav looked at her face.

Beautiful.

Gentle.

Tears in her eyes.

"Yes," he said.

His voice sounded… young.

Very young.

A man spoke calmly.

"Don't crowd him. He just recovered."

Raghav looked at the man.

Tall.

Sharp eyes.

Confidence in every movement.

"Dad?" Raghav asked without thinking.

The man's eyes softened.

"Yes. I'm here."

Suddenly, memories flooded his mind.

This body's memories.

This world's truth.

Parallel world.

Ultra-rich family.

Illness.

Death during sleep.

Raghav's heart shook.

The original Raghav died… and I took his place.

A blue screen appeared in front of his eyes.

No one else reacted.

Raghav swallowed.

SSS?

Ashok Rao spoke.

"Raghav, how do you feel?"

Raghav answered honestly.

"I feel… light."

His sister jumped closer.

She smiled brightly.

"I told you! My little brother is super strong!"

She hugged him carefully.

Raghav looked at her smiling face.

Warm.

Protective.

"Didi," he said.

Her smile became brighter.

His mother wiped her tears.

"Thank God… thank God…"

Ashok Rao said firmly.

"From today, no stress for him. He will enjoy his childhood."

Raghav's heart trembled.

Childhood… something I never had.

The system flashed again.
