Chapter 7 - Chapter 7: What a True Dimensional Strike Looks Like!

All the Liverpool fans watching froze for a split second.

No one moved. Eyes wide, pupils locked on Leo Lin.

Just a moment earlier, Foden had burst forward with the ball, even adding a feint beforehand.

A flawless dribbling breakaway!

Forget youth teams—even some lower-level Premier League players might not have been able to stop that.

Foden's formidable ball control made the ball look glued to him, as if it had its own pull!

And yet, that beautifully executed dribble was read perfectly by Leo Lin.

He stepped in half a beat early, took the position, and shielded the ball with his back—then drove through with force, flipping Foden onto the turf behind him!

But it wasn't over.

His teammates were still staring like they'd been stunned, and Leo Lin turned with the ball and bellowed,

"What are you looking at?"

"Run forward!"

That roar snapped everyone awake.

Striker Diouf sprinted in behind.

As many as three forwards broke forward at the same time.

Manchester City's back line stayed alert, with Taylor Harwood organizing the shape.

Palmer also chased back hard, constantly harassing from the side, trying to stop Leo Lin from releasing the pass.

The Counterattack window was about to disappear, and Leo Lin only felt Palmer buzzing at his side like an annoying fly.

He lifted an arm on instinct—

and shoved Palmer away by brute force!

Then he hit a sharp sideways stop!

A right-footed cut!

Another abrupt stop!

Turn and nudge!

And another burst forward!

Two consecutive stops, then a deceptive surge to sell the move.

Palmer held his balance the first time, but the second stop clearly broke his center of gravity. With Leo Lin's left hand bracing through him, Palmer immediately lost his footing.

He stumbled and went down in a mess, completely humiliated.

Fear rose from deep in Palmer's chest.

When he looked at Leo Lin again, something in his eyes had changed.

It was only a brief clash, but he could feel it clearly—this young man carried terrifying power.

Was this really the kind of strength an 18-year-old was supposed to have?

Are you messing with me?

And it wasn't just Palmer—Taylor Harwood felt a flicker of dread, too.

He'd watched two opponents get flattened, and Leo Lin kept driving forward like nothing had happened, thick muscle keeping him perfectly balanced.

Manchester City manager Lescott was completely stunned, yelling nonstop from the touchline.

"Step up!"

"Step up and stop him!"

"Don't back off!"

The midfield had already been blown apart.

As Leo Lin dribbled closer and closer to the penalty area, Taylor Harwood had no choice but to bite the bullet and go in.

If he let Leo Lin carry the ball into the box, it would be too late to try to Interception him afterward.

Taylor Harwood stepped out and set himself at the top of the arc.

Fully focused, ready to Interception!

He was prepared.

But he made a fatal mistake. In normal defending, your legs should be set at a reasonable distance.

With the way he was standing, it looked like he could cover both sides—but it slowed his ability to turn.

Leo Lin tapped the ball lightly with his toe, then exploded with Explosiveness.

One arm lifted to keep his balance.

Riding the momentum, he shot past Taylor Harwood's left side in an instant!

A gorgeous phantom—like a meteor cutting through the night sky.

Taylor Harwood didn't even have time to clasp his hands and make a wish. He only felt a gust of wind flash by.

When he turned again, Leo Lin had already completed the move and the ball was through with him.

Manchester City's goal and goalkeeper were now completely exposed in front of him.

The City keeper bounced in place with quick little hops, ready to make a Goalkeeper Save at any moment. He was confident he could block Leo Lin's Shooting.

Then—

the sound of a furious strike detonated!

Even the crowd instinctively flinched.

"Swish!"

Liverpool fans who'd been frozen in shock a second earlier threw both hands up in celebration.

On the touchline, Lescott stood with both hands on his head—mirroring the Liverpool coach exactly.

The entire crowd instantly went insane.

"Are you kidding me?!"

"That's the sound a long-range shooting makes? That's the sound of a kick?!"

"What kind of terrifying power is that?"

"How old is he—18?"

"Are you sure?!"

"It's in?! How long has the match even started—has it been a minute?"

"This isn't a player, this is straight-up Superman—and he's got Superman Long-Range Shooting!"

The Manchester City goalkeeper was still in his set stance. Only when the explosive crack from Leo Lin's strike echoed by his ear—and that ridiculous speed tore straight into the net—did it hit him.

He… he'd actually thought he could save that?

Like an ant trying to shake a tree.

With Leo Lin's current strength plus his Long-Range Shooting attribute, maybe a Premier League-level keeper could still get a hand to it. But an academy keeper? Forget a Goalkeeper Save—being able to protect himself was already lucky.

Phil Foden and Palmer were still on the ground, slowly struggling to get up.

Wherever they'd collided with Leo Lin, a hot, burning pain pulsed.

Almost everyone was stuck in total shock—except Leo Lin.

He turned away calmly, as if he'd known from the moment it left his foot that it was going in.

His teammates were jumping and screaming, celebrating wildly, while he stayed composed—just making a simple fist.

Leo Lin wore that look that said: Don't get excited. Don't cheer. For me, this is normal.

In other words—he was showing off.

Play restarted. Manchester City kicked off again.

The ball went to Foden again.

Foden carried again, trying to organize the attack again.

And Leo Lin marked him again.

He even cut off the passing lanes, forcing Foden into a one-on-one.

Aren't you last season's one-on-one dribbling king?

100% success rate?

Then enjoy yourself.

Foden faced Leo Lin and, remembering that earlier collision, suddenly felt his legs go a little weak. He dropped his shoulder—no feints this time—and tried to break through with a sudden burst.

But Leo Lin still guessed right.

He stabbed a foot in first—his powerful right leg wedging itself between Foden and the ball he'd pushed out.

It was only one step…

but to Foden, it felt like the ball was a world away.

Leo Lin immediately drove through with his right leg, shoulder powering forward—

and forcibly performed an Interception on Foden!

He won possession, knocked the ball ahead, and turned.

Clean and decisive.

Palmer tried to step in again. Leo Lin faked with a Stepover(s) off his left, then rolled the ball outward with his right.

One step past.

Manchester City's midfield might as well not have existed.

Leo Lin had another chance to face the back line directly.

And once again, Taylor Harwood stepped up to press.

This time, Leo Lin didn't go solo.

A short pass to a teammate.

The teammate didn't take a touch—just flicked his ankle and squared it across.

A Wall Pass!

His teammate shortened the shooting distance, opening a lane and creating the space Leo Lin needed.

The Manchester City goalkeeper could practically see the future.

Leo Lin drove off both feet.

Right foot planted to brace and transfer power.

Left leg whipped through the ball viciously!

"Bang!!!"

"Swish!!!"

Another one!

Two-nil!

Liverpool's coach was stunned!

Lescott was dumbfounded!!

Liverpool fans went completely berserk!!!

"Is this really not a blowout? Am I watching a youth league match?"

"Are you sure Phil Foden was last season's dribbling king? Because this doesn't look like it at all."

"Two goals in two minutes—now THAT is a dimensional strike!"
