Chapter 63 - Chapter 63: Fly, argo!

Cricket explained to Hera and Nami, "Through my years of observation, I've discovered a cloud in the sky that isn't right. Sometimes it even reflects a giant human shadow; that should be the Sky Island."

"If you want to go up, you can only use the Knock Up Stream. Rush to the center of the stream and rely on its thrust to fly up. Once we ascend to the White Sea, the ship can sail in the sky."

Nami felt that Cricket, who could come up with such a plan, was simply a madman. She complained, "What if we fly up and there's no Sky Island or the White Sea you mentioned? We'll definitely fall to our deaths."

Hera, however, spoke confidently, "Let's do it. Don't worry, the White Sea exists. Haven't you noticed that Jaya looks as if it's missing a half? Look at that house split in two."

She pointed at a strange house that looked like a perfectly good house had been split down the middle. "Since the ocean current can wash an island up, we can go up too."

Nami could only nod. "This is truly reckless, but since you are our Captain... Now there's only one question left: when exactly will the current come, and in which direction should we rush?"

Cricket pointed at the map and said, "The center of the current is roughly here. We still have a little time to modify the ship. I also have two partners who can help you."

Hera nodded and returned to the argo with Nami, Cricket, and the sea chart.

After a while, a talking Masira and a Shoujou arrived. Seeing them, Cricket quickly introduced, "These are my friends; they will help you successfully reach the Sky Island."

When Hera and the others returned, Kuina was practicing her sword, and Ain was training in the Gravity Room. As someone who graduated in the same class as Hera and Kuina, Ain felt immense pressure upon seeing both of them awaken Armament Haki, so she now spent every day training in the Gravity Room.

Hera introduced them to Kuina, "This is Cricket and his Saruyama Coalition. They will help us reach the Sky Island."

Over the next few days, Cricket planned where the gale shells should be attached, and Nami studied the movement of the currents, repeatedly learning knowledge related to ocean currents in the library. Amidst the busy preparations, the day the current was to arrive finally came.

As Cricket said his goodbyes, he remarked, "I've searched here for a very long time and have always had a doubt. My ancestor once said the gold is in the right eye of the skull, but I haven't discovered what that means."

Everyone gathered on the deck, and Hera began to command, "Kuina, you and I will stay on the deck, ready to face any unexpected situations. My City of Devouring Time will help you move. Also, pay attention to the rope around your waist; don't fly off."

To prevent herself and Kuina from flying off the deck, Hera tied them both to the ship's framework with ropes as a safety measure.

"Nami, you're responsible for controlling the ship in the cockpit, managing the steering. Ain, you're responsible for helping Nami with the helm; give her a hand when she can't move it."

Ain and Nami shouted from the cockpit, "Received, we're ready!"

Hera and Kuina nodded on the deck. It was time. "Let's go, let's conquer the sky!"

Nami steered the argo, sailing toward the center of the current.

A large hole suddenly appeared on the sea surface, and seawater began pouring into it. Fortunately, the argo had its own power system and managed to stabilize itself near the edge of the hole.

Hera felt an incredible power gathering beneath the hole, ready to erupt. Using 'Fifth Shot', Hera saw the current rising three seconds into the future and quickly called out to Nami, "Nami, the current is coming in three seconds! You must time it perfectly." Nami nodded, maneuvering the ship slowly closer.

Seawater suddenly began to bulge from the large hole. Nami quickly steered the argo and rushed forward. Half a second before the current arrived, she perfectly entered the center of the current. The argo was blasted upward by the current; as its wings unfolded, the argo successfully took flight.

Standing on the deck, Hera and Kuina were both stunned by the scene. "Incredible... we're actually flying in the sky," Kuina murmured to herself.

"See? I told you it would work." Hera was also exceptionally excited, hugging Kuina beside her. This joy of flying was far more thrilling than any roller coaster.

Soon, the argo reached the top of the clouds. The ship did not fall but floated on the White Sea as if sailing on the ocean. This miraculous sight brought Ain and Nami out of the cockpit to gaze at the scenery.

Hera jumped down and found that she could even swim in this sea of clouds; it felt like being immersed in cotton. She quickly called to the other three, "Come down and try it! The clouds here are so soft."

While the four of them were playing happily, a school of fish also set their sights on them.
