The audience watching the match was left in awe by the virtual imagery; it was so realistic that the intricate details made the dragon appear truly alive as it soared through the heavens.
Accompanied by a strike of golden lightning, Slifer's head emerged from behind the clouds, revealing its massive visage as it slowly dived downward. Its target was clear: the dueling arena below.
Many spectators thought only of fleeing; they scattered while screaming for help. After all, seeing a dragon of that magnitude charging toward them was enough to terrify anyone. Even knowing it was merely a virtual projection, it was mentally difficult to process.

Slifer's effect is to forcibly destroy all monsters with less than 2000 ATK summoned by the opponent (Lightning Blast). This meant she couldn't summon low-level monsters normally. At that time, she could use De-Fusion to split the Blue-Eyes and use them as tributes for Obelisk. Masuzu immediately took action. But just to be safe, she set one face-down card as defense first, before activating the fusion.
