Chapter 207 - Kanzaki Ryuji’s Peak Moment

Inside Class 2-A's classroom.

That was the class led by Nagumo. Currently, the room had been tightly surrounded by Class 1-A members until there was no gap to pass through.

The leader of this action was none other than Kanzaki Ryuji. As Honami's trusted person, he had the authority to lead the entire class when Honami wasn't present.

Today Honami took leave and didn't come in. Without that girl's knowledge, her comrades came to Class 2-A to settle accounts with Nagumo. At the same time giving a stern warning to everyone that their class leader wasn't someone who could be casually intimidated.

Class 1-A had entered "protection mode" for their friend.

Nagumo stared fearfully at the crowd numbering around 40 people; his heart began to complain.

(This is bad...)

Nagumo was very aware that his class didn't have that many personnel. If a physical clash really occurred, they might not necessarily win.

Coincidentally, Asahina Nazuna was out looking for Kiryuin Fuka and wasn't in class. Currently, Class 2-A members only had 31 people remaining, while Class 1-A brought a full force of 40 people. That was already without counting Honami.

(A difference of 9 people... This fight isn't advantageous!) Nagumo had already made an assessment in his heart.

Ryuji led this group not for a nice discussion. He signaled with his eyes to Himeno and other friends to close the door and guard it tightly, don't let anyone have a chance to escape.

Everyone took out baseball bats they had just bought from the supermarket. With this position, it was very clear they came to fight.

Class 2-A students were frightened and backed away. Even Nagumo himself began to lose his composure. He didn't expect the opposing party would act this boldly; this time he had really hit an iron wall.

However, Nagumo looked toward the surveillance camera above the class and felt slightly relieved. He wasn't sure the opponent would dare to hit under camera surveillance.

Unfortunately, Nagumo's thinking was immediately shattered. As if able to guess what the opponent was thinking, Ryuji took a stone he had prepared from his pocket and threw it precisely at the surveillance camera.

*CRASH!*

A loud sound of the camera lens shattering was heard. That camera was the only surveillance device in the room.

Nagumo's pupils widened. (Now this is bad!)

Ryuji immediately stepped forward and grabbed his opponent's collar. The next second, he clenched his fist and struck.

*THUD!*

Nagumo's face was hit squarely until he fell sprawling. Ryuji didn't let him go; he sat on Nagumo's body and rained punches on his face repeatedly.

Nagumo, who had just been beaten by Ryunosuke and whose wounds hadn't healed, now had to be beaten again. Class 2-A members who intended to help immediately stopped because of Ryuji's threat.

"Just try it if anyone dares to step forward!"

Following Ryuji's command, all Class 1-A members raised their baseball bats. The message was very clear: Move even a little, you're finished!

The second-year students didn't dare move. After all, they weren't holding any weapons, while the opponents were holding baseball bats and were greater in number. Use your brain and you'd already know they would lose.

Finally, they chose to ignore Nagumo. There was no other choice; he couldn't be saved.

Hiding behind the crowd while holding a baseball bat, Hachiman's hand trembled slightly.

(Wow, this is already like a gang war.)

But Hachiman knew in his heart that a real fight wouldn't happen; they just came to give a warning. He felt a bit relieved. He was a person with almost zero physical ability. Indeed, using his brain was more suitable for him.

Meanwhile, Ryuji swept his gaze toward the seniors. Seeing they didn't dare step forward, he felt quite satisfied. He then lifted Nagumo like lifting a chick and began threatening him.

"Next time if we find out you dare touch Ichinose Honami, the lesson I give won't be this simple."

Ryuji released Nagumo, straightened his collar, then threatened again in a low voice.

"I know exactly who your identity is."

"In the outside world, your status is just an ordinary person."

"Once you leave this school, you're nobody."

Nagumo's body trembled; apparently this was his weak point.

Ryuji stopped talking. The warning that needed to be given had been delivered. If the opponent still didn't want to listen, then he would take further action in the outside world—like making Nagumo "sink" in Tokyo Bay.

Many students at this school were children of high officials or business tycoons. There were many people who had higher status than Nagumo, including Ryuji. Even among the women Nagumo had played with, there were those who had the power to destroy him.

Nagumo only relied on the natural protection of this school to become a "little king." But once he left school, he would immediately return to his original form. Unfortunately, he didn't realize this because he was too drunk on the temptation of power.

The person who realized this was Nazuna. As a childhood friend, she wanted to pull him back so he would stop. However, Nagumo not only didn't listen, he even wanted her too.

To save that fool, Nazuna had compromised and dated him briefly. However, that instead made Nagumo increasingly worse and big-headed.

Nazuna was so annoyed she didn't want to care about him anymore, but after all they grew up together and were neighbors. If something happened to Nagumo, she didn't know how to explain it to that man's parents. She was truly at her wit's end, but couldn't just leave him be.

At Fuka's place, Nazuna let out a long sigh. Fuka put her arm around her shoulder and smiled mischievously while joking.

"Why? Missing a man?"

Nazuna just glanced at her sharply without responding.

On the other side, Ryuji had led Class 1-A's group to leave. Actually from the beginning they didn't intend for a mass brawl. This was the opponent's territory; if a big commotion really occurred, even though there were no surveillance cameras, they wouldn't be able to explain the reason why they were there.

Therefore, Ryuji's threat successfully made Nagumo fall silent.
