Chapter 279 - Chapter 37: Friendly Negotiation

Takatsuki tilted his head when he heard Svarog's words.

"I'm dangerous? Did I not give you a chance to speak properly? Couldn't you just tell me the location of the Stellaron? Once I smash that thing, I'll leave; I don't care about your affairs."

Takatsuki said irritably, gripping one of Svarog's arms.

"Stellaron, not allowed, to be touched, by humans…"

Seeing Svarog's unyielding attitude, Takatsuki's temper flared.

"It seems I didn't hit him hard enough."

Because Clara was nearby, Takatsuki couldn't use attacks that would cause a lot of damage. He directly kicked Svarog, who was trying to get up, back down, then straddled him, pressing Svarog's arms with his feet, and raised his fist high.

Then he punched Svarog's head, which only had one red light.

"Dangerous, huh?!"

Bang!

"Calculations, huh?!"

Bang!

"Humans, huh?!"

Bang!

"Greedy, huh?!"

Bang!

"Big shot, huh?!"

Bang!

Before the people around could react, Takatsuki was already raining down punches with both hands. What was originally a battle concerning the survival of civilization turned into a street brawl between hooligans.

This made the people around feel a bit disillusioned and… funny?

After all, Takatsuki's build looked very ordinary. An ordinary person riding on a three-meter-tall robot, punching its head repeatedly—if they didn't know who that robot was, they would have thought it was an ordinary person bullying a pile of scrap metal.

"Um… was Takatsuki's fighting always like this?"

March 7th said with some uncertainty.

"Probably not. He's likely trying to avoid affecting Clara."

Stelle walked to a mechanical arm while Takatsuki was beating Svarog, looked at it, and then pulled a sword out of a crevice.

"Stelle, be careful. These are reinforcements summoned by Svarog. Don't let them out."

March 7th ran over with Big Seele, looking curiously at the sword in Stelle's hand.

"So many weapons, is Takatsuki running a weapon shop?"

"No, look closely. Although I don't know what kind of energy this is, these weapons are not made of ordinary matter."

Dan Heng also walked over and looked at the sword in telle's hand.

"What do you mean?"

March 7th didn't understand Dan Heng's words, and Dan Heng shook his head: "I just feel that there are energy fluctuations on this sword; it seems to be directly composed of energy."

"Forget it, let's ask Takatsuki after he finishes things over there."

March 7th looked to the other side; Takatsuki had already stopped beating Svarog.

It wasn't because Svarog was destroyed or because Takatsuki was tired, but because Clara went up and hugged Takatsuki's arm.

He had the strength to lift a mine cart with one hand and casually throw Svarog around, yet he was stopped by a little girl.

"Please, don't hit Mr. Svarog anymore; he can't fight anymore."

Takatsuki looked at the teary-eyed girl beside him and said helplessly, "I don't want to do this either, but does he look like he can't fight? If you can persuade him, I'm too lazy to do anything."

Takatsuki stomped down Svarog's arm, which was trying to rise and attack.

It wasn't that he couldn't dismantle the opponent, but he was afraid of breaking him, which would cause the data to be lost, so he merely controlled his strength.

In short, it was… not much damage, but extremely insulting.

"Mr. Svarog, can you please stop fighting…?"

Svarog's head was dented and pitted by Takatsuki's punches, and red light seeped out from the collapsed crevices.

"Le… zzz… ave, Cla—ra… zzz."

"Mr. Svarog, didn't you say you would fulfill Clara's wish? Clara only wishes Mr. Svarog to stop fighting and tell the big brother about the Stellaron."

Although it was emotional enough, Takatsuki felt this wouldn't solve the problem at all. If Takatsuki didn't know hacking, he wouldn't need all this trouble; he would just dismantle the opponent and check the memory bank himself.

But to Takatsuki's surprise, this piece of scrap metal was actually persuaded by Clara, the little girl.

"External… zzz… force… I… zzzzz… agree… to… your… request…"

Takatsuki's eyes widened, and he stood up from Svarog: "You really agreed? Then tell me."

Svarog got up from the ground. Takatsuki's punches were all aimed at the head, but Svarog's memory bank didn't seem to be in his head; the head only contained his language center and visual system.

After getting up, Svarog had no intention of continuing the attack and just stood next to Clara.

"Um… Big Brother, Mr. Svarog's language center seems to be malfunctioning. Can Clara fix him first?"

Hearing Svarog make crackling noises whenever he spoke, Takatsuki was a bit helpless. He had already controlled his attacks, yet he still managed to damage Svarog's language center.

"Are you done fighting? Takatsuki, you're amazing."

March 7th pulled Big Seele over: "But this big guy looks… isn't he doing too well?"

Looking at Svarog being repaired by Clara, March 7th was a bit confused.

"Takatsuki, I didn't expect you to be so powerful, completely dominating Svarog."

Big Seele also came over. Although she was a bit disappointed she couldn't participate, seeing this rare scene was enough, as not everyone gets to witness Svarog being beaten like this.

Again, not much damage, but extremely insulting.

Although Svarog wouldn't care about the insults, telling others about it would still make them care.

"You don't know the half of it. Dan Heng, how's Svarog doing?"

Takatsuki looked at Dan Heng. Since Takatsuki had resolved the "negotiation" issue, Dan Heng had gone to check on Svarog's "injuries."

But sadly.

"It seems it can't be fixed here."

After Dan Heng's explanation, Takatsuki learned that due to his actions, Svarog's language system had almost collapsed. Even if he wanted to speak, he couldn't, only managing to utter a few bytes.

"Um, brothers and sisters, can Clara take Mr. Svarog back? After Mr. Svarog's language system is repaired, he can tell you the information you want to know."

Dan Heng looked at Takatsuki: "You handled the negotiation, you decide."

Glancing at everyone looking at him, Takatsuki could only shrug: "Give me a minute."
