Chapter 129 - Chapter 130 Apologize

"Is the Church of Mathology fun? Will they organize activities for us on weekends...?"

"What benefits does the Church of Mathology offer? Will they give us candy...?"

With Billy leading the way, the children below began asking all sorts of strange questions.

Of course, besides its core doctrine, a church needs sufficient benefits to attract followers.

Sheldon hadn't considered any of this. He established the Church of Mathology solely to spread science. As for the church's benefits, activities, and how it would operate, all of that was still blank.

Facing the children's inquiries about the Church of Mathology's benefits, Sheldon didn't know how to respond.

Pastor Jeff, seeing Sheldon turn the small class into a chaotic mess, could only lead him out of the classroom.

Although he felt a bit bad for Mary, for the sake of classroom discipline, Pastor Jeff ultimately decided to send the troublesome Sheldon directly back to the Cooper family.

Time flew by, and it was Monday again. To curb the continued spread of last week's flyer incident, the school specially invited an Aerospace Engineering expert from NASA to give a lecture.

Aerospace, space, rockets... these sounded like high-level things, with strong appeal to high school students.

Even if some students didn't like it, attending a professional Aerospace Engineering class would make them sound more impressive when bragging.

With this understanding, coupled with the school's vigorous promotion, the students' attention was indeed diverted to the upcoming Aerospace Engineering lecture.

Dr. Ronald from the Houston Space Administration happened to be Principal Tom's high school classmate. He was currently in charge of a Mars landing project.

However, to help his old classmate escape the negative impact of the flyer incident, Dr. Ronald agreed to take some time out this Friday to give an Aerospace Engineering public lecture at Medford.

"Mike, what do you think Dr. Ronald looks like?" Karen asked curiously in the school cafeteria at noon.

Most of the students in the school cafeteria were also discussing the mysterious Doctor of Aerospace Engineering.

Given the school's positive publicity for Dr. Ronald, it was easy to establish an image of a knowledgeable, cultured, and refined scholar among the students.

Even if his title sounded like an older person, the students were more willing to believe that this Doctor was a handsome older gentleman.

This kind of idealization of the other party probably belongs to a form of knowledge worship.

At the dining table, Gretchen and Regina, hearing Karen's question, perked up their ears curiously, while Cady looked distracted.

"I'm afraid I'm going to disappoint you..." Mike said in a teasing tone, looking at the girls' expectant gazes. "While I don't know what Dr. Ronald looks like, I can confirm that he is definitely a brilliant person."

Brilliant? Hearing Mike's emphasized stress, the girls quickly realized that Mike meant he was bald.

But thinking about it, a Doctor of Aerospace Engineering, spending every day with complex data, certainly wouldn't have much hair left.

The girls had been imagining the image of a Doctor of Aerospace Engineering, probably superimposing Mike's image onto him.

However, what Mike said shattered their beautiful illusions.

Even Gretchen, who usually had a gentle personality, now gave Mike a "resentful" glare.

"Ahem, what are you talking about? Can I join you?" Regina came to the center of the cafeteria with her tray.

Without waiting for an answer, the Queen Bee skillfully sat down next to Mike.

Today, Regina had a fresh, natural makeup look and was wearing only a simple white T-shirt, along with her sweet smile.

This made Regina exude a mature and intellectual charm at this moment.

Of course, Regina's current attire did not conform to The Plastics' dress code.

However, it was fortunate that during the time the Queen Bee was away, the remaining members of The Plastics unanimously agreed to abolish the dress code for members.

So, strictly speaking, Regina's current appearance was not a violation.

"Why are you here?" Karen questioned, her eyes revealing a 'you're not welcome here' expression.

The other girls were in similar situations to Karen.

"I'm also a member of The Plastics, why can't I be here?" Regina acted as if she didn't understand what the girls meant. As she spoke, she deliberately moved closer to Mike.

Her behavior was very much like a declaration of sovereignty.

However, the Queen Bee was very discreet in her actions, trying not to cause Mike's displeasure.

At the dining table, except for Gretchen, who was still confused, all the other girls looked at Mike, their eyes filled with dissatisfaction.

Clearly, they had noticed something from Regina's ambiguous behavior.

A pleasant lunch hour was about to turn into a battlefield in an instant.

Mike cleared his throat, wanting to ease the awkwardness, and then said, "Alright, everyone, let's eat. Lunchtime is almost over..."

Seeing Mike's guilty expression, the girls who were involved with him became even more certain of the current situation.

Clearly, Regina had also gotten involved with Mike.

However, the girls also had some understanding of Mike's philandering nature.

Since things had come to this, after glaring at Mike, the girls didn't cause a scene in the cafeteria and quietly enjoyed their lunch.

On the other side, Regina, seeing everyone's reaction, subtly curved her lips upward slightly, then wisely chose not to stir up any more trouble.

The dull lunch hour ended, and as Mike hurried towards the Mathematics Study Room, Cady caught up to him from behind.

"Are you going to ask me about Regina?" Mike stopped and asked.

"No~" Cady stared at Mike seriously for a moment, then shook her head: "I want to ask you if there's any way for me to mend my relationship with Ms. Sharon."

Cady had been troubled by this question for the past two days.

As for what was going on between Mike and Regina, the girl had already sensed it on Friday night.

Given that she had already 'become Mike's shape,' the girl knew that making a big scene would be useless and would only cause a rift in their relationship.

Therefore, regarding Mike's philandering, the girl chose a gentle approach, leaving the problem to time.

Given this situation, Cady's most pressing concern now was how to mend her relationship with Sharon.

"Ms. Sharon?" Hearing the girl's predicament, Mike said, "You need to give her a sincere apology. If you find it hard to say, you can also write your apology in a letter and give it to her..."

Based on Mike's understanding of Sharon, she didn't seem like someone who held grudges.

As long as Cady could overcome her own hurdle and sincerely apologize to her, there was a high probability that she would receive Sharon's forgiveness.

Mike had told Cady this method before. Bringing it up again this time was to give the girl more encouragement.
