Chapter 112 - Chapter 113: Exclusion

"Dad, why are you here too?" Bobbi came out of Missy's room and saw her dad had also come to the Cooper family.

The little girl happily threw herself into his arms and said boastfully, "Look how cute this puppy is! Missy gave it to me."

Bobbi was holding a white plush toy in her hand, which was the gift Missy had given her in return. It was clear that the two little girls had quickly developed a close relationship in a very short time.

Missy, who also came out of the room, sought out Mike. She said, as if claiming credit, "Mike, I've already solved Sheldon's problem. Aren't I awesome?"

Looking at the little girl blinking her big eyes, seeking praise, Mike smiled and rubbed her head, praising her, "Our Missy is truly amazing!"

And Missy, having received the praise she desired, giggled.

On the other side, Herschel was relieved to see his daughter getting along very well with the Coopers.

He first comforted Bobbi, and then, after exchanging pleasantries with the Coopers, he left with his daughter.

The warming of relations between the two neighboring families was a very good start. This also allowed the Cooper family dinner table to return to its usual relaxed atmosphere.

...

"Do you know, Gretchen?" In the school cafeteria at noon, Cady quietly revealed to Gretchen, who was carrying two trays, "Regina once complained to me that the lunch you got for her simply didn't suit her taste..."

Determined to sow discord between Regina and everyone else, Cady had been finding opportunities to whisper to Gretchen during this time.

The gentle Gretchen was the most frequently dispatched by the Queen Bee in The Plastics, which was the main reason Cady sought her out.

Of course, the information Cady revealed to her was also true.

With the Queen Bee's overbearing personality, she would easily boss around several members of The Plastics.

"It doesn't suit her taste? What does she want to eat then?" At the food counter, Gretchen, holding two identical plates of food, seemed to be very emotionally agitated.

Clearly, Cady's continuous instigation during this period had achieved significant results.

However, this was also easy to understand; no matter how good-natured someone was, if they had to buy water, get food, and carry bags for someone while also being criticized by them, anyone would probably find it unbearable.

What's more, the more Gretchen fantasized about Mike, the more unconsciously dissatisfied she became with Gretchen.

This underlying change was probably not even noticed by Gretchen herself.

And in front of the food counter, looking at Gretchen carrying food for the Queen Bee, Cady shrugged helplessly, indicating that she was powerless to help.

The truth was, seeing Gretchen's emotional changes, Cady already had a clear idea. The opportunity to overthrow the Queen Bee's tyrannical rule might be at hand.

With a "bang," Gretchen, who had returned to the middle of the cafeteria, slammed the Queen Bee's lunch down in front of her, and then sat down at the side of the table without a word.

"What's wrong with her?" Regina, still unaware of the situation, frowned slightly at Gretchen's rude actions.

"Who knows? Maybe Gretchen is just in a bad mood today," Cady explained with a smile, appearing to be trying to lighten the mood.

However, Cady then casually reminded her, "Regina, it seems today is Wednesday..."

"I know, what about Wednesday?" Regina asked somewhat unnaturally.

"Wednesday is the day when The Plastics uniformly wears short skirts..." Cady glanced at the Queen Bee's wide jeans and continued to remind her.

"Cough—" Regina gave a fake cough, then hid her legs under the table, explaining with a touch of embarrassment, "Actually, I think wearing jeans isn't bad at all, at least it's comfortable..."

In reality, the reason Regina was wearing jeans today was out of necessity. She had recently gained over ten pounds, and her old pretty clothes and small skirts no longer fit her.

And at the side of the table, seeing the jeans on the Queen Bee's legs and hearing her excuses, Gretchen's long-suppressed emotions finally erupted.

"You're wearing jeans, which violates the Best Friend Code, so you don't deserve to sit with us!" Gretchen shouted, venting her dissatisfaction.

Regina, startled by the intensity of her emotions, first tried to explain, "I have a reason for wearing this..."

"What reason?" Gretchen continued to shout, "Just because you're Regina and everyone likes you, you think you don't have to follow the Best Friend Code? Don't forget last time when I violated the dress code, you severely criticized me and even kicked me out table..."

As Gretchen spoke, her eyes turned red with indignation.

It was lunchtime, and the cafeteria was crowded, so everyone's attention was drawn to the commotion.

Regina, at the center of the storm, felt as if she was being cornered. She looked to Karen, who had a blank expression beside her, hoping that this long-standing member of The Plastics would speak up for her.

However, the truth was going to disappoint the Queen Bee.

Karen's gaze shifted back and forth between Cady and Regina, as if she understood something. Then, she calmly said, "Regina, Gretchen is right. Since you're wearing jeans today, you really don't deserve to sit with us."

"I understand." Hearing Karen's statement, Regina stood up, holding her tray.

Before leaving, she still tried to explain, "I want to wear a short skirt too, but I've gained over ten pounds and become a fat woman..."

"Never mind... I hope you all enjoy your meal..." Noticing the strange looks from other students in the cafeteria, Regina didn't want to stay there for another moment. She dejectedly walked out of the cafeteria with her tray.

Many of the rules in the Best Friend Code were set by Regina herself. Now she knew that trying to temporarily gain sympathy from her group members was somewhat unrealistic.

"Look how thick her thighs are, like an elephant..."

"Yes, and her waist, it's like a bucket..."

"Her butt is also fat..."

...

Watching Regina's departing figure like a loser, exaggerated laughter echoed through the cafeteria.

It must be said that the overbearing Regina's reputation in the past was truly not good. Most of the people who were now openly mocking her were those she had bullied before.

It could also be said that Regina's current predicament was a result of her own actions.

And in the middle of the cafeteria, with the departure of the Queen Bee, the atmosphere instantly changed.

The remaining three members of The Plastics sighed in relief, as if they had accomplished a great feat.

And Cady and Karen exchanged glances as if by telepathy, and then the corners of both girls' mouths simultaneously curved into a slight smile.

It was at this moment that Mike and his fanclub happened to pass by.

"Hi, Mike, Lina, want to have lunch with us?" Karen invited with a smile.

Currently, in school, Mike's fanclub and The Plastics were the most attention-grabbing.

Lina looked at the smiling Karen and left the decision to Mike.

As for Mike, seeing that Regina was not there, he naturally wouldn't refuse Karen's invitation.

So, Mike and Lina sat down with Karen and the others, and the students in the slightly off-center area of the cafeteria also tactfully made space for the other members of the Mike Fanclub.

At this point, Mike and his fanclub became the most watched group in the school cafeteria.

Countless male students also silently envied Mike's unique treatment, like stars surrounding the moon.
