"What the actual Fuck is that" Cross screamed and ran for his life.
The monster wasn't running after Cross, he was floating towards cross so apparently cross Running away wasn't gonna solve anything because the monster was beside him floating no matter how far Cross ran.
"Somebody help me!!!" Cross screamed, nothing silence, "can't you all Fucking here!" He screamed again, Silence, "Fuckass neighborhood" He muttered and Kept running.
He ran but fatigue was getting the best of him so he used his last energy to run to the market to meet Miss Beatrix for help.
When he entered her store she wasn't there, and the store was still open with all her stuff out there.
He turned his head around and it was the same thing everyone's stuff were out there but they're weren't in the stores.
"What the Fuck is Going on?" Cross screamed, the strange creature finally left it's floating form and turned back to normal.
Claws grew from his body, yeah, not from his hand which is irritating to see, anyways that scared the fuck out of Cross.
His soul almost left his body.
He Ran for his Life but the monster was a fast runner and kept chasing him, He knew fatigue will soon take over so he saw a near by bat and grabbed it.
He thought the bat would scare away the monster so he decided to threaten he monster, "come any closer and I'll smack your life out of you" cross screamed at the monster.
The monster didn't care and attacked cross, "you ask for it!" Cross screamed and swung the bat it hit the monster hard in the head.
"Yeah that's what I'm talking about!" He screamed but the monster injury healed quickly and more monsters appeared.
"This is bad, this is really bad, someone Help!!!!!" Cross screamed again, silence, he bowed his head and accepted his fate.
Then it clicked, 'wait a minute didn't that mysterious guy say I'll have his power when i leave that well?" He thought, he stood up and saw like a 100 monsters ready to kill him.
"Prepare to get smoked MotherFuckers!" cross said then tried to use the power… Nothing. 'Why isn't it working? And come to think of it the Mysterious guy didnt really say a thing about my power' He thought, 'maybe the power is Strength?' He picked up a heavy stone and it almost broke his bone.
"Definitely not strength, hold up did the guy even give me a superpower?" He said, The monsters were close and he could hear they're breath.
Suddenly rain fell and the monsters were like charging up, because rain gives them strength and they use their full power when rain comes around.
Cross didn't know this at that time, "Fuck the monsters are coming close i need to think of something fast"
At this point he can't escape because monsters are coming from both sides, he wanted to die at that point but hell no, he just got rich no Fucking way is he giving up his life.
STRIKE!
Lighthing came from nowhere and struck Cross directly at his forehead and he lay dead on the floor.
The monsters stared in awe but nonetheless they rushed over to cross's body and fought for who to eat him.
2 HOURS LATER:
Even after 2 hours cross still laid dead on the hard cold floor, suddenly in another place cross found himself in a big screen.
[screen (system)]: Cross Markson you have just been struck by lightning, currently you're dead but you'll be given a second chance at life, if you noticed the lightning struck your inner cell and awakened a power that was hidden in you, but you're currently dead so you can't use the power, so we'll give you a second chance at life if you work for us and reach SSS+ rank and we'll take your power and your life from you, do you agree.
Cross didn't read all that.
He only read the 'second chance at life' and chose yes without hesitation not knowing he had just signed to be a protector of his world, which he didn't want to protect.
He woke up and found himself in the Hospital, "you're finally awake" He turned his head and saw miss Beatrix and His MOTHER.
Now he hates his mother, like really hates her because when his family was in financial struggle she left his father and his father committed suicide because of his mother.
"What are you doing here" cross looked at her like she was a demonic MotherFucker
She didn't respond, she didn't need to, Miss Beatrix rushed over, "Miss Beatrix, where were you?" Cross asked.
"I saw you enter my shop, you were screaming my name, i was answering, but it's like you didn't see me, and i ultimately thought you were on drugs" Miss Beatrix answered honestly.
"Something strange happened, I can't explain it in words" cross shoke his head unable to explain.
"Come on you can speak to me" miss Beatrix pleaded.
"Not with her here, she's a monster" cross said pointing directly at his mother.
Miss Beatrix pleaded with his mother to excuse them, "okay she's gone now tell me about the thing you saw" she asked again.
Cross narrated everything to here and she looked both shocked and confused at the same time.
"What? Your story just now just described the novel we read constantly most of the time when you were in my class"
"Are you sure this isn't all made up? She added, "as crazy as it sounds I'm saying the truth" Cross sighed.
"After that did you see anything else?" She asked, Cross paused for a moment... "No." He answered.
Now he didnt want to tell her about the second chance he got at life and about that crazy stuff so he just a kept it to himself.
"Okay well see you tomorrow" she said then stood up and walked out of the hospital.
Cross sighed and laid on his bed, thinking about his second chance at life and what he saw.
He sighed again depressed this time and turned off the light and went to bed.
