The security rushed to the door and opened it a bit to listen, the monster was apparently eating something, by the sound of chewing
It's probably meat and as there is no sign of the other two scientist, it's probably their flesh that is being eaten,
The tall security guard (lets call him brute) quietly stepped back out he whispered" give me something that i can use as a weapon" the short security (shorty ) nodded.
he Looked around the laboratory the closest thing to a weapon was a mop, then he remembered that there must be syringes and scissors here, he had an idea, with some duck tape, the mop and anything sharp he made a makeshift spear.
After making sure that the pointy side won't detach at the slightest hit, he gave the weapon to brute who looked impressed by the makeshift spear but didn't vocalize it.
he grabbed it with both hand and very slowly advanced towards where he supposed the monsters is, the chewing is coming from behind the cabinets, as he quietly walked toward it he-.
*craaack* he looked down to see glass shards everywhere, the sound of chewing stopped,
"Aaaurrrrghhhh" the thing most likely began to move toward him, so he decided to wait in an open place to not get jumped by it
After 1.5 fearfull minutes of waiting he could see it approach, 'is this one different?'
Compared to the other monster this one walked more human like, with less limping and feet dragging, it's eyes also looked like they were following him, and looking for details, he also carried an microscope covered in blood and flesh in one hand it probably used it as a weapon, it was hunched heavily hunched over
He gathered his attention back to the monster when it walked under proper lighting did he notice all the blood on his blouse neck and around his mouth, that confirmed it he ate the other two,
The moment the monster got close enough for a stab he trusted the spear forward hitting it in the stomach, it stopped moving looked down at the spear then back at him
"Das wir-t du büß-n!" It hollered,
From the other room asahi's voice could be heard" did he speak German?!"
As brute tried to make sense of this, his lack of attention got his weapon broken as the monster smashed the microscope on it breaking the already feeble mop in 2 ,
with the knife still embedded in the stomach of the creature who had no problem ignoring it,
brute began slowly backing towards the door keeping his eyes on the blood coated monster walking toward him, as he exited the room shorty shut the door,
he pushed a cabinet in front of the door to block it, he quickly began pushing and gathering more objects infront of the door,
The monster began pounding on the door violently
*BAM BAM POM, CRACK'*
the sound of something breaking put the security on alert while they barricaded the door,
akari had called the police and urged them to make haste, because there are injured and the threat is still there!,
Shorty listened to akira's phone call and asked" but we are in a hospital? Why don't we carry you to the other doctor's?"
Asahi reprimanded him
"What do you think?!
We don't know what happened do we? What if we become like them or worse?! it's best to stay here for now, and for the police and heroes to set up a perimeter around the hospital, just incase there are more of them"
While the group waited for the police to arrive Akira began patching up the wounds of the others at the best of his ability and tools, shorty continued stacking objects in front of the door,
they could hear the monster relentlessly hitting the door, brute gathere the 2 scientist corpse and put them in next to each other straight and then covered them with some white tissue,
after he tried to look around for an useful weapon inside he was seething that they were longer allowed to use their baton after an really dumb accident in which they weren't even at fault!,
He decided to do like the monster and use a microscope as a weapon too,
Now it was time to wait for the reinforcement,
/half an hour later\
The hospital was in chaos police and heroes arrived and stopped anyone from leaving and put a perimeter around,
even all might was there!
There were 20 cops and 3 hero without all might the police quickly asked for the laboratory and beelined toward it they pulled out their gun at seeing the corpse just outside, as they carefully approached the could hear *BAM* BAM*
in increasing decibel.
"Hands where I can see them!" Shouted the first officer as he entered the room followed by his chief along with a hero named the unmoving shield 'you shall not pass!',
"finally you are here! Please I did my best but my friends won't last long without surgery and other medications!", the police chief wasn't sure on what to do, he quickly relented "go warn the doctor's to get ready for an operation" cop number 2 saluted and made haste,
as he left the room and turned the corridor to the lobby he encountered, all might looking like he is lost" HELLO, CAN YOU TELL ME WHERE IS THE LABORATORY PLEASE I'M KIND OF LOST IN THESE LONG HALLS" all might boomed which then echoed around and almost everyone in the hospital heard him,
the patients began asking the nurses and doctors who also wondered why All might was here,
'Dammit! all might! couldn't you speak with your inner voice?" tought the chief while he was looking around the chaos of the laboratory, the corpses and blood splatters.
All might being told where the laboratory was, came upon the dead-looking body at the entry his smile faltered for a moment
He is against killing after all most people deserve a second chance,
For those who don't, well...death is too sweet for them.
He put his smile back on and entered the room "DON'T WORRY WH-"he began "all might stop! You are making too much noise remember this operations is supposed to be discreet!" Chastised the chief,"
right sorry, (throat cleaning) because I'm here!" He finished more quietly. well for him anyway, for the other occupant in the room he was closer to shouting,
for some reason the monster that kept banging on the door for the past 40 minutes stopped, "Why did he stop?" Asked the chief," how would we know?" Responded asahi, cops number 1 added his toughts, "well you guys had the most interaction with them, what do you think?"
"I think that they act like pre-quirk era zombies" answered Akira, cop 2 came back to get the 2 injured scientists for a possible operation
"they are getting an operating room ready, here come with me" he grabbed asahi and got under his arm to slowly guide him to the operation room,the other scientist still able to walk went with them,
"Then what do we do with the zombie?" asked shorty
"I'm not sure, I want it to die but we don't know how it came to be," Akira told others
"The biggest problem would be to tell the families," the chief muttered,
then something came to his mind "all might?",
"Yes?, "why are you here?"he asked the number 1 hero who then looked at him with a raised eyebrow his iconic smile still on his face.
"you weren't in the original alert call and this problem seems beneath, from your usual cases," clarified the chief,
"There are no such thing as beneath! heroes must do everything to save everyone!, A good heroes would always try to help if possible!" He Proudly exclaimed,
As the group continued talking about the merit of heroes, their jobs and responsibilities,
cop number 1 was looking around as he approached the door to the laboratory, he tripped on the scattered tools and fell next to the unmoving corpse who unfortunately for him wasn't actually dead,
the moment he fell to the ground the zombie jumped on him it began biting, scratching and ripping with its hand and what's left of his mouth,
until all might sent it flying to the wall this time definitely killing it, cop 1 was already beginning to bleed profusely, his uniform was completely torn up, his back was covered in in scratches both light and deep, his left ear was ripped completely, he seems to also have dislocated his arm,
All might carefully lifted the cop and quickly left the laboratory area to find a doctor, while they left 2 cops and the rabbit hero mirko arrived at the scene,
" the hospital is completely closed nobody leaves nobody enters!" She proclaimed to the others as they entered the room,
Cop 5 looked already terrified from all the blood and the corpses,
Mirko looked at the barricade" what's that for?", " There is a zombie like things on the other side before all might entere the room it kept hitting the door but it stopped" explained akira, Mirko's ears twitched "are you sure there is something there? I hear nothing,"
the security's and scientist all blanched hearing that" Quick! Help us move these!" IF its not there the patients of the hospital are in danger!", shouted akira as he and the security quickly removed the barricade the cops and hero who witnessed the other zombie heavely injure the cop joined them.
" I'll go first!" Ordered the shield he activated his quirk and entered the room the cops had drawn their weapon expecting something to attack the hero
Everyone held their breath but nothing happened he advanced in to the room then mirko entered,
Nothing,
The cops entered one by one slowly gun drawn with a flashlight in hand,
" poor people" shield encountered the remains of the 2 scientist locked with the zombie, the mirko looked around just like the other room this one was a mess too, blood splatters on the wall and ground,
there are bloody hand prints, brocken glass and wood, whatever the cabinets were holding is all over the grou- wait bloody hand prints?
Mirko looked again at the prints and where They ended, it ended at an open ventilation shaft..it was free, "the zombie left the room it's somewhere in the hospital!" They quickly gathered around her and looked at the ventilation the chief used his radio to alert the others on the wandering zombie,
the cops and heroes quickly ran out of the room and split up to search the zombie the chief decided to find the director and get the plans for the ventilation system to at least have an idea on where it can end up,
They began with the other room in the basement where the laboratory was, on the upper floors the other cops and heroes searched the 1-2 and third floor when suddenly
"arhh-help! There are *gunshot!* monsters *gunshot*on the fourth*gunshot!*fl- arhhh!!" The line went silent, of course the whole hospital and the houses, business around heard the several gunshots going off, and now the patients and their caretakers where in a panic br /> The cops and heroes tried to rush to the fourth floor but an horde of patients which are still able to walk along with their caretakers are blocking their way to the stairs, up to the third floor
the elevators were not quick enough mirko had enough she entered a room opened a window and jumped to the next building and climbed to the roof from there she jumped on the hospital roof and entered the fourth floor,
Meanwhile in the third floor there was only one cop guarding the stairs because the others couldn't get past the deluge of panicked people, he saw a shadow very quickly move outside from the window,
he decided and hoped that it was maybe one of the heroes, he turned his gaze back to the stairs with a gun in hand, he used some furniture to put something between him and the stairs so that anything coming down wouldn't have a direct acces for him.
Mirko descended the stairs and saw the horrifying state of the halls bu the main problem? There were 2 zombies feasting on a corpse and 1 of them was bulkier and taller than the other one, she could hear someone's screaming for his life as they got torn apart, just as she was about to take action a yellow blur flew past her and sent the 2 zombies flying into a wall unmoving,
It was all might without his trademark smile, izuku was on this floor on a dead end corridor,as mirko and all might advanced the econtered only 1 other zombie in the halls which all might quickly took care off,
The fourth floor had less patients than the rest of the floors but still many aparently died there were half eaten or barely touched corpses everywhere some room had their door broken in, how quickly did everything went awry here?.
some were untouched probably because there were nobody inside mirko and all might began checking the room with broken or closed doors to see of anybody survived and if there was a zombie, quickly kill it,
as they approached the third wing the hospital was built in a L style,
They turned the corner and had to dogde a chair that was thrown at them, all might and mirko looked at the thrower, the zombies had put a pile of furnitures,
the zombie took another chair, he was joined by 2 other , zombie one was in a white military fatigue, his eyes glowing a bright yellow he had the officer's gun in his hand, the other zombie just grabbed a seat from the pile and threw it at the 2 heroes,
All might just tanked the hit, the soldier like zombie seeing that the other 2 would be useless then talked? "Schützt den fühner!",
The other 2 sort of saluted and retreated to a nearby room,
the soldier turned back to them and shouted once again""Komm her, bereit für den Kampf!" Mirko and all might had zero knowledge about German all might could speak English but that was it.
At that moment gunshots rang out down the corridor the police must have finally been able to get here, then a terrible screech rose of one of the zombies, and it awakened some of the unmoving scattered zombies around the floor.
the zombies upon leaving the rooms or hefting themselves to their feet saw the cops and attacked them, there were a total of 5 zombies against 3 armed cop along with shield who quickly put himself infront of the cops and activated his quirk creating a force field who stopped the zombies from approaching them,
they began hitting the field with wild abandon as the others began reaching it more began hitting it, some of the zombies had grabbed anything sturdy and long to use as a weapon one of them even had a leg in his hand,
when all might entered he had sent 2 zombies to the wall the tiny one died on impact the bulkier one had not and as the cops began firing their weapon on the zombie ground killing one and injuring the rest, the brute zombie got up to his feet any noises he is making being masked by the other zombies groaning or the gunshots,
for the cops the brute came out of nowhere just as he appeared he clawed at on of the cop's throat who fell to the ground holding his throat to stop the flow of the blood, the 2 cops terrified backed away,
One of them tripped on its own feet in fear of the zombie who then lounge at him bitting and ripping him to shreds,
meanwhile shield didn't know what to do if he stopped the field the 4 zombies would tear him to pieces and if he doesn't he is dead anyway! Doomed if he did Doomed if he doesn't!, he quickly made his choice and stopped the field, the 4 zombies banging on it fell forward,
shield delivered a strong kick to the brutes head he grabbed the other cop and they descended the stairs at lightning speed scared for his life, downstairs there were other cops and snipe acting as guards" HELP?!" Shield shouted as he passed them
"AURGGHHH" snipe and the cops pointed their weapon to the stairs and rained bullet on the zombies going down,
All might and mirko had killed the soldier like zombie, they continued looking in the rooms theycouldhear the deluge of bullets, until they reached izukus room the door was blocked,
All might punched through the door and wall, on the other side the zombies and a still unconscious izuku got pelted with sharapnel like rocks,
there were only 3 zombies in the room 2 died to all mights entry the third one looked very different from the other ones,
it had no skin and whatever muscle it had was barely covering its skeleton, instead of walking on its 2 legs it walked on all four so using its hand, it's teeths were razor sharp,it's spine was curved and pockin out at the top, its hands resembled claws more than hands, it had no hair or any fur on its body, it resembled a corpse that waited in acid for a while who then got free, it simply looked disgusting,
It hid behind the bed when all might burst through the wall and door so it wasn't hurt but It knew that it had no chance of fighting back, "hail Führer!" And lunged at all might but It was for naught all might just punched him into the wall, it was dead on impact,
Mirko entered behind all might looking in the room she noticed izuku on the bed WITH A LONG STONE jutting out of his eye?!! "All might! What the hell did you do?!" Before she could grab the patient all might, grabed him bridal styel and at breackneck speed arrived a the stairs where dead 5 zombies laid riddled with holes,
He "I'M HERE, THERE ARE NO ZOMBIE LEFT!" He called out and just as quickly began searching for a doctor while going down the stairs, a doctor toke izuku from all mights arms and told him to go back up and that he'll take care of the injured,
As the cops and heroes searched the fourth floor with corpses everywhere,
Most of these patients were in a coma or incapable of speaking, meaning there were nobody to alert the hospital in time,
The death toll was heavy:
Doctors: 2 dead
Nurse: 4 dead, 1 zombie
Analysis Scientists: 4 dead, 2 injured, 2 zombie
Cops: 3 dead 1 injured
Fourth floor Patients: 26 dead, 12 zombie, 1 injured.
All in the span of 2 hours
As the dead being counted the heroes on site were jittery as they couldn't be sure that every zombie was killed,
but the cops assured them that none were left, even if they weren't sure themselves.
Soon the press had arrived and we're demanding question from everyone
And also began snooping where it shouldn't.
