The private helicopter descended through the darkness before touching down upon the secluded helipad overlooking Lakeview Villa. By the time the powerful rotors slowed into a steady rhythm, the clock inside the cabin had already crept past two o'clock in the morning, leaving the entire estate wrapped in the quiet stillness that existed only in the deepest hours before dawn.
The cabin doors slid open, allowing the cool night air to rush inside.
Kade stepped onto the landing pad first, followed closely by Ryker and the elite Shadow Guards. Behind them, the medical team moved without wasting a single second, carefully disengaging the reinforced restraints securing Cooper's hospital bed before easing it down the loading ramp carefully. The little boy remained asleep beneath the blankets, oblivious to the journey carrying him farther away from the place he had once called home.
Lakeview Villa had already been secured long before their arrival.
