"Engaged to her sister," Kade repeated, his voice dangerously soft. "And yet he's in these images with Dakota over a three-year period."
"Yes, Alpha." Vera pulled up more images. Dakota and Ethan are entering her apartment together. Leaving together. One image showed him kissing her forehead in the parking lot. Another showed her laughing at something he'd said, her hand on his chest.
Intimate. Familiar. The kind of comfortable closeness that didn't develop overnight.
"There's more," Vera said, her voice tight. She pulled up a different set of images, these more recent. "Three months ago, Dakota moved out of her apartment. We tracked her new address...." She paused significantly. "She moved into Ethan Cross's apartment. They've been living together for the past three months."
Kade's hands clenched on the arms of his chair, his knuckles going white. "Living together. While he was engaged to her sister."
"Yes, Alpha."
